THE TRUTH ABOUT MARKETING

It seems that mass marketing will soon be largely a thing of the past with the exception of perhaps the football Superbowl which has a large once a year audience. A large number or majority of humans watching the same entertainment on a regular basis is becoming a a relatively rare circumstance except for some movies which have mass followings worldwide for a rather short duration.

Social media is helping this fractioning process and is creating many special interest groups of humans but no one large group with a shared common interest. With the exception of movies, music, fashion, and the arts in general are creating many specialty interests but no mass followings.

Instead of mass followings many future businesses will be adjusting their ads to try and appeal to those interested in what they have to sell in a personal way. Is the dying of a mass culture a bad thing with a few common interests being propagandized about? Probably not, but human personal biases and desires will be satisfied to move sales volume.

Promises of beauty, good relationships, health, longevity, status, and sexiness will be eternal motivators of humans who want more out of life than what they were born with and those are universal or mass topics which appeal to almost everyone.

Humans will always need drink, food, clothes, shelter, transportation, status, and good relationships with others and there will be plenty of marketers promising to fulfill those basic human needs.

THE TRUTH ABOUT IMMORALITY

Criminal organizations commit immoral actions on other humans but within the organization there is a common morality. Don’t lie and steal from on each other but it is OK to lie, kill, and steal from others outside the group. Similarly the Talmud teaches that it is not OK to lie and steal from Jews but it is OK to lie, kill, and steal from others if it benefits the Jews. Hopefully the Talmud is ancient history which should die a timely death in the 21st century.

Tyrants also follow this same policy and don’t lie and steal from those in leadership positions but think nothing of lying, stealing, and even killing the ruled who oppose them. Group thinking can be immoral but the members of the group are not immoral towards themselves.

Politicians or the rulers also lie and steal in deceptive ways which keeps the ruled complacent without protest. This is why the leadership of the world is fundamentally corrupt because they don’t follow the morality taught to the led.

When the world leadership is just as moral as the led are expected to be, then there can truly be world peace among nations. As long as nations think that they can lie and steal from one another then no world peace is possible.

Some individuals also believe that they can lie and steal from others if they can get away with it for their own personal benefit.

What is the new secular morality which all the nations of the world and humanity should start practicing? It is except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.

THE TRUTH ABOUT SECRETS

Secret: n. hiding and/or keeping from the knowledge of others and frequently from the public

There are personal, family, group, and organization secrets which are sometimes important to keep to save a reputation or to save a competitive advantage. Other secrets are more damaging because they hurt or injure other humans and are even fraudulent in nature.

You may be publicly embarrassed if someone found out that you like to walk around naked in the house like me or that you had a dui conviction which I don’t have. You may want an adulterous relationship to be kept secret or the fact that your spouse has a mentally ill relative. You may want to keep your salary a secret so that there is not jealousy among coworkers.

Coca cola may want their drink recipe kept a secret so no one can copy it or an organization may want to keep a manufacturing secret kept confidential which gives them a competitive advantage.

Big money investors may want to keep their investments secret so that the price of the shares which they are buying or selling don’t fluctuate wildly during a transaction. Special interest lobbyists may want conversations with public officials kept secret so that the special interest laws which they are advocating for don’t become public knowledge right away for fear of political backlash.

Some secrets are relatively harmless but big drug companies sometimes keep secret the fact that their clinical studies have found a drug to be relatively ineffective for the disease it is designed to cure or that the drug has some serious bad side effects which could worsen the health of the taker. These are really fraudulent secrets or lies which can hurt other humans so they can’t be justified as being good secrets.

The military has secrets which are vital to national defense and government agents sometimes keep secret the fact that they are monitoring the activities of humans thought to be potential threats to social stability or safety.

The world is filled with secrets or humans trying to keep something secret but the most damaging are the secrets of the government and large organizations which have the power to further enslave humans in their daily lives and suppress frequently needed decent in society which tries to point out the important injustices going on in society.

Do I have some personal secrets which I would not want to become public knowledge? Yes, but only about one or two rather unimportant ones and if you read all of my writing then you will know all my secrets.

My blogging is also a minimum threat to the powerful monied interests because I don’t have the money to promote my ideas of what justice and truth is really important in this world and what kind of change is really vital to this world.

My ideas are a threat to the status quo society and even the status quo constitution whose change I advocate. I am a rebel with what I consider to be a just cause and that is communicating the truth as I see it about almost every topic under the sun.

Join me in my truth crusade by reading some of the approximately 700 blogs which I have written so far. I am sure that you will find some blogs which interest you or at least expose you to new or different points of view.

THE TRUTH ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS

Relationships with offspring, spouse, close friends, friends, and casual acquaintances all require a slightly different skill set.

If you are honest, sincere, dependable, competent, and in effect moral and trustworthy then you should be respected and even admired by close relationships and the chances are good that you will also have good relationships with them.

Be immoral by lying and deceiving much, be unreliable, be incompetent and generally untrustworthy and you will have bad friends if you have any at all.

To improve relationships further it helps to be a good listener and conversationalist who can relate to and understands different humans and social classes. It helps if you have a good education and are interested in more things than just your job or family so that you have interesting things to talk about with other humans, especially if those interests correspond to their interests. If you have similar interests then you will improve your chances of a good two way conversation.

If you can read the emotional state of the human that you are relating to then you will be far more successful in communicating without unnecessary arguments, confrontations, and disagreements. Conflict where one side is trying to win at all costs should be avoided if possible if you want to maintain a good relationship.

Relationships need time, energy, and frequently money to maintain or even improve them so make sure that you allocate most of your time, energy, and money to the most important human relationships in your life.

Job or career relationships come first and family second unless there is a crisis situation in the family. Social contacts beyond job or family can be important if you are in sales or a leader in an organization which is looking for new customers or new members.

Remember, if you want interesting good relationships then you have to be interesting yourself and good too. If you are poor, badly educated, and unemployed then don’t expect your best friends to be rich, educated, and fun to be with!!!!!!
