THE TRUTH ABOUT BEG***

Begging_6309a8_1814050

Beg: v. frequently to urgently request a free subset(s) and the requesten’s goal frequently has a low probability of achievement

Humans who have nothing sometimes resort to begging as a way of surviving but their begging requestens are not frequently fulfilled.

Sometimes offspring beg for favors or toys. In very poor countries some orphans and handicapped adults who can’t work beg for food. In wealthy countries some humans beg for money to support a drug or alcohol habit and some beg as a way of life so they don’t have to work.

Begging should be a sign of desperation and helplessness needing immediate attention but the reality in civilized countries is that begging has frequently become a scam designed to prey on your sympathies and get money for free with minimum effort. Instead of true begging it is more accurately called panhandling.

THE TRUTH ABOUT AWE***

Awe: v. to sense very intense respect with fear and/or wonder from a subset(s)

There are relatively few things in life which should awe us. The universe, nature, and rarely some humans are worthy of awe. Some conquerors, business humans, inventors, and scientists were truly awesome but that is history and we should not dwell too much in the past because the world is filled with serious problems which need rather quick solutions.

Civilization itself for the long duration is being threatened with the destruction of food and wilderness biodiversity and civilization needs an updated secular moral ruder to guide it towards a more peaceful worldwide interaction and interaction among humans themselves. Check out my blog The Truth About Morality.

Moral relativity is not the answer to successful human interactions nor is dogmatic adherence to old religious practices and beliefs the answer to what ails humanity.  Humanity is inefficient with inefficient language usage or communication, inefficient politics, inefficient religion, inefficient economics, inefficient education, inefficient social behavior, inefficient entertainment, and inefficient use of energy and money for the long duration.

Compared to the awesome efficiency of wilderness plants and animals humans are dead last and nature abhors inefficiency and will punish humanity in the long duration if we continue our inefficient lifestyles worldwide.

Nature is to be awed, respected, feared, and imitated and if it is not it will retaliate with a vengeance in the long duration.

THE TRUTH ABOUT NAGGING

Free-parenting-Webinar1

Nag: v. to frequently repeat identical (commands and/or criticisms) and/or annoying communications which annoy a human(s)

Repeat commands and/or criticisms or do them over and over again or repeat the same words or expressions or do them over and over again and you are nagging and are sure to annoy someone.

Wives are frequently accused of nagging but domineering husbands are also sometimes guilty of nagging.

Offspring are also sometimes nagged. Clean up your room, take out the garbage, come home on time, feed the pet, brush your teeth, hang up your clothes, and turn out the light are some examples of nagging expressions which can be stopped if you punish with the withdrawal of important privileges until the bad habit disappears or becomes so infrequent that it is acceptable behavior.

Nag too much and it is ignored communication. Unless it is something very important and has to be resolved don’t nag but do something about it.
