Unfulfillment: n. a promise which is not achieved
Â
How many promises have been made to you in your lifetime and they fell through or were unfulfilled? Or how many times have you promised yourself that you will do something and don’t?
This unfortunately is the fate of many who associate with promising humans who frequently don’t do what they said they will do and it is always a disappointment large or small.
If you find yourself getting involved with a promise breaker then seriously consider abandoning the relationship which will only cause much disillusionment and disappointment in the foreseeable future.
An unfulfilled promise is really a lie about the future and you want no part of a habitual liar or habitual promise breaker or one who is guilty of unfulfillment!
You can also make promises to yourself that you will follow your dreams or do something which you feel should have been done a long time ago. Some call this unfulfilled desire or hope but it is really a personal promise to do something in the future for yourself. Fail and you have an unfulfilled personal promise which can have a devastating effect on your psyche. Lying to others is bad enough but lying to yourself can be even worse.
