This new Hubble image shows a cosmic creepy-crawly known as the Tarantula Nebula in infrared light. This region is full of star clusters, glowing gas, and thick dark dust. Created using observations taken as part of the Hubble Tarantula Treasury Project (HTTP), this image was snapped using Hubble's Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) and Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS). The Hubble Tarantula Treasury Project (HTTP) is scanning and imaging many of the many millions of stars within the Tarantula, mapping out the locations and properties of the nebula's stellar inhabitants. These observations will help astronomers to piece together an understanding of the nebula's skeleton, viewing its starry structure.

A colony of hot, young stars is stirring up the cosmic scene in this new picture from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. The image shows the Orion nebula, a happening place where stars are born. The young stars dip and peak in brightness due to a variety of reasons. Shifting cold and hot spots on the stars' surfaces cause brightness levels to change, in addition to surrounding disks of lumpy planet-forming material, which can obstruct starlight. Spitzer is keeping tabs on the young stars, providing data on their changing ways. The hottest stars in the region, called the Trapezium cluster, are bright spots at center right. Radiation and winds from those stars has sculpted and blown away surrounding dust. The densest parts of the cloud appear dark at center left. This image is a combination of data from Spitzer and the Two Micron All Sky Survey (2MASS). The Spitzer data was taken after Spitzer's liquid coolant ran dry in May 2009, marking the beginning of its "warm" mission. Light from Spitzer's remaining infrared channels has been color-coded: 3.6-micron light is green and 4.5-micron light is red. 2MASS 2.5 micron light is blue.

epa03584315 A handout picture released by NASA on 14 February 2013 shows generations of stars, seen in an infrared portrait from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. In this wispy star-forming region, called W5, the oldest stars can be seen as blue dots in the centers of the two hollow cavities (other blue dots are background and foreground stars not associated with the region). Younger stars line the rims of the cavities, and some can be seen as pink dots at the tips of the elephant-trunk-like pillars. The white knotty areas are where the youngest stars are forming. Red shows heated dust that pervades the region's cavities, while green highlights dense clouds. EPA/NASA JPL-CALTECH / HANDOUT HANDOUT EDITORIAL USE ONLY

THE TRUTH ABOUT UNPERSUASIVE*

maxresdefault

Unpersuasive: adj. not getting agreement that a goal(s) is worth achieving

If you are unpersuasive then chances are great that you have not convinced someone that what you are saying is true and further you will not get a commitment from that human in doing anything about a given circumstance. If you think you have a goal(s) worth achieving then you will not get any helpers or followers if you are unpersuasive.

THE TRUTH ABOUT UNCONVINCE*

quote-a-likely-impossibility-is-always-preferable-to-an-unconvincing-possibility-aristotle-280993

Unconvince: v. to not get a human(s) to believe and/or to agree that a subset(s) is true without coercion

Convincing is a subset of persuasion. You not only have to convince or persuade that something is believable or true but you usually have to proceed further and persuade the human that they do something about the new knowledge. If you have been unconvincing to begin with then your chances of persuading that human to do something are minimal or nonexistent.

THE TRUTH ABOUT UNCONSCIENTIOUS*

no-more-careless-mistakes-2

Unconscientious: adj. carelessly and undevotedly doing a subset(s)

If you are doing something unconscientiously then you are being careless and are undevoted to the task(s) which you are doing. Most of us commonly think of something being done carefully or carelessly and seldom use the long word conscientious to describe work habits or ways of doing something.

If you do something carelessly or unconscientiously then many mistakes are an expected possibility.

THE TRUTH ABOUT UNCONCERN*

maxresdefault (1)

Unconcern: v. to not be attracted to a subset(s) for a duration and to not sense (caring and/or interesteven) and/or (importance and/or affectation) for samer subset(s)

When you are unconcerned about something then for duration you are not attracted to it and you sense no caring and/or interest and/or importance and/or affectation for that something.

The circumstances and the human frequently determine how long this unconcern lasts because if it is someone close to you then concern may reemerge as soon as a problem arises.

There are other themes such as politics, sports, and the economy which many may be unconcerned about because frankly nothing can be done about it individually and any concern would be primarily wasted effort.

THE TRUTH ABOUT UNCOMMON*

images

Uncommon: adj. a subset(s) with a probability of existence much less than 10%

It is time to give uncommon and very uncommon some percentage guidelines so there is some tangible difference between the words and it is not just vague references without much meaning.

We could probably all agree that very uncommon would be about one out of a hundred or one percent whereas uncommon would definitely be 10% or less or about one out of 10 or less.
