Slander: v. to libel with an untrue aural communication(s)

If you say something untrue about a human then you are guilty of slandering someone.

If the slandered human can prove that their reputation was severely hurt by the slander and if it was recorded in the media then you also have grounds for libel, can sue the offending party, and can be compensated with a money award.
