Malice: n. a desire to harm another(s) and frequently with cruel intention


A desire to harm someone cruelly is definitely malice. If you harm someone unintentionally then it is not malice and if you harm someone intentionally it can be just criminal or extremely offensive.

Malice only exists if you intentionally and cruelly hurt someone with the intent of causing needless suffering and got much pleasure doing so.
