Irrelevant: adj. not having a logical correspondence and/or importance to the subset(s) being considered

When you say something is irrelevant you are probably impulsively judging something to not be important to a circumstance or subject which you are currently involved with. You may also feel something is irrelevant because it seems to have no logical connection in your opinion with what is happening in the moment.

Feeling something is irrelevant may be due to your subjective opinion, to an absence of understanding, to your ignorance, to your absence of previous experience with the subject, to not caring about the subject or opinion, or you may merely be making an undesirable excuse not to have to talk about that something subject because you feel incompetent to answer or you don’t want to waste any more time with it.
