Invisible: adj. can’t be seen and may not be detectable by most or all detection devices because of extremely small volume
Air is invisible to the eye because air molecules are so small that the eye can’t see them.
Subatomic particles can also not be seen with the eye and are detected indirectly because of extremely small volume.
Theoretical dark mass or dark matter can’t be detected by any known scientific device or instrument because its volume is probably smaller than that of subatomic particles and it may even be without charge or neutral making it even impossible to detect with the advanced technology of tomorrow.
It is a philosophical argument if absolute space is nothing at all or something which we haven’t yet discovered. Space or an absolute vacuum can also be called invisible by those who believe it must be filled with something which has extremely small volume.
Is no volume or zero volume truly possible? No one has proven that in any way up til today. It is a mathematical dilemma which puts many singularities into equations which are going to be unknowable concepts on into the foreseeable infinite future unless a better tool than mathematics is found to describe the universe and everything in it.
