Differentiate: v. to identify and judge the differences between two or more subsets

When you differentiate two or more things then you identify the differences with the intention of ultimately making a judgment about them. If something is different from another thing then how does it change things and/or make your actions towards them different? Because two or more things are different then you frequently treat them differently or the same after making judgments about them.
