Consensus: n. a common group opinion and/or general group agreement
A public consensus can be thought of as more than 50% having the same opinion or agreeing to some general view.
A scientific consensus is more problematic and realistically a red flag because science should not be dependent on group opinions but should be grounded in scientific facts proven in a laboratory or with the use of scientific principles. It is not at all proven or obvious that global warming is human caused or merely climate change primarily effected by changes in the energy producing ability of the sun.
My personal belief, since there is no proven evidence that humans are responsible for global warming if in fact it does exist, is that the sun is primarily responsible for climate change judging from the fact that winters are very cold and snowy and summers are quite hot with much drought existing in some parts of the world. Minute changes in CO2 levels if they are rising slightly could not possibly explain the rather dynamic and dramatic changes in climate worldwide during the year.
Supposedly the scientific consensus was that there was global warming and that was given up as being untrue and the scientific consensus now is that there is global climate change. If there is such a change then it is in both directions both hot and cold and if you were to truly analyze the data the average temperature throughout the year is rather constant and not changing that much to be alarmed about.
What most concerns me most is that there is no consensus that wilderness must be preserved and expanded at all costs to ensure the long duration health of humans and planet earth itself. We desperately need wilderness as a safety net for future human generations who can depend on it for a healthy supply of food when technological excess makes most food unhealthy for human consumption.
The cleansing power of wilderness to ensure healthy air worldwide or to restore the natural gaseous balance is highly underestimated and few realize this very important fact so vital to our long duration survival. Without healthy air to breathe future generations will be in great danger worldwide.
Gaseous balance is important but so is the amount of particulate matter floating in the air which is causing lower temperatures locally because of the reflecting properties of particulate matter. If anything, particulate matter in the atmosphere means lower average temperatures locally and minute lower temperature effects worldwide and not higher ones.
Political consensus is an abnormal preoccupation with polls being taken of public opinion on a frequent basis trying to show or prove that one political opinion is dominant or worthy of consideration. Polling obsessions are not very healthy and bore the shit out of the consuming public.
Mostly the media has an addiction to polling data and tries to pontificate authoritatively on it boring most of us to the point where we start to ignore the repetitive media on most of what it is saying about other seemingly important matters also.

Consent: v. to give permission by an authority to (achieve a goal(s) and/or do a subset(s))
Consenting adults having sex is an important concept which basically means that both participating humans have given permission to have sex with each other and have not been coerced or forced or threatened into having sex which should be illegal if coercion exists. Consensual adults is a more accurate definition which means mutual consenting.
Parental consent is also a very important concept because parents are the primary authority figures over their offspring and permission must be obtained from parents first before offspring can do certain things or behave in a certain way.
When working consent from the boss, manager, or leader must first be gotten to do something differently, especially if it means doing something against business or company policy.
Permission and consenten really mean the same thing and are synonyms which is something which I am trying to avoid as much as possible. Unfortunately permitting adults is not as obvious a concept as consenting adults so I have defined consent using permission in it.

Consider: v. to carefully think about and/or to try to use as much reason as possible for duration
Considerations are in reality largely delayed impulsive reactions because few have the ability to carefully think about or use as much reason as possible to reach (conclusions and/or decisions) and/or judgments.
The dictionary definition of think is -to direct one’s mind toward someone or something; use one’s mind actively to form connected ideas. There is no mention of how one connects the ideas, whether it is impulsively done or using reason and analyzing and synthesizing existing and given information. The truth is that we are not thought to think in school or elsewhere because the definition of think is so vaguely defined.
My definition of think is actually a more useful guide but still incomplete and not accurate enough because one should be thinking logically and no one has defined logical thinking yet, although I am trying hard to do so eventually-
Think: v. to silently and mentally verbalize and try to make correspondences between the subsets of one’s own knowledge and/or experiences and using as much logic as possible
Careful: adj. being methodical and meticulous and trying to avoid mistakes and/or dangerous circumstance(s)
What is careful thinking? It is thinking methodically but which method is being used? The impulsive method or a logical and reasoning method which is the ideal? I am merely presenting more evidence that no one has an accurate definition of what careful thinking really is. My goal is to define as many words as possible logically so vagueness disappears from language as much as possible and concepts such as careful thinking make sense to everyone or are understood by everyone.

Convenience: n. an efficient subset(s) which saves much (time and/or energy) and/or money
A convenient package is easy to open and dispose of and convenient shopping is nicely displayed products and fast cashier checkout. In any case convenience is a measure of the efficiency of something and the more efficient that something is the more time, energy, and money it saves you.
An efficient business is one which makes the most money in the least amount of time and with the least expenditure of energy both human energy and nonhuman energy.
“That is convenient” is usually an acknowledgment that you are not wasting much time, energy, and money on something and/or that you are doing or experiencing something efficiently and much to your liking.
Convenience foods and drinks, some of which are fast foods and frozen foods, are sometimes not the healthiest ones to consume but you can definitely say that they are a rather efficient way of eating because they are relatively cheap, don’t waste much of your energy, and you save much time by not having to prepare the food or drink yourself.
Convenient shopping is a relatively inexpensive retail establishment with an efficient layout and cashiers where you don’t spend much time waiting in line.
If you find that you are wasting your time, energy, and money on something then it is not a very convenient thing for you to be doing and you should try to look elsewhere to satisfy those same needs and wants.
