16 REASONS WHY HUMANS GIVE UP ON THEIR GOALS!!!

img_0994

This blog thanks Rahul Khanna for the inspiration of this article.

WHY DO HUMANS GIVE UP ON THEIR GOALS???

Humans are impatient and want results too fast in a world which is increasingly propagandizing instant gratification.

Humans stop believing they have the ability to reach the goals.

Humans live in the past too much and can’t adapt to modern realities.

Humans dwell too much on past mistakes and fear more future failures.

Humans fear the future and overvalue a relatively comfortable past existence.

Humans really don’t want to change for the better but prefer to live with their existing good and bad habits.

Humans believe their weaknesses are too great to make goal achievement possible.

Humans feel the world owes them something and decide to wait for the world to give it to them.

Humans never take time out to search for or investigate new goals and the potential benefits which may come from achieving them.

Humans feel and fear that they will lose some of the good things which they have if they pursue the new goals.

Humans overwork and don’t leave time or don’t schedule time to pursue future desirable goals.

Humans assume their problems are too handicapping to achieve the goals.

Humans assume that much past failure means that they must give up on their goals.

Humans feel sorry for themselves and want to be pitied for their rather bad circumstances in life and use that as an excuse for not pursuing goals.

Humans lose their desire and motivation to improve themselves and no longer strive for better goals in life.

Humans are too lazy to put in the time, energy, and effort required to achieve goals.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONDITIONAL+

1600413_634892469018877500

Conditional: adj. promising a subset(s) will be (done and/or given) and/or taken if a requirement(s) and/or reaction is achieved first

Unconditional absolute love is a myth or a historical lie. In most relationships and marriages you conditionally expect your spouse not to lie to you, not to steal from you, not to commit adultery, and not be physically abusive to you. That is conditional love and if the major moral rules are broken then it will probably lead to a justified divorce which even the pope now believes in.

Yes, it is possible to love a human who acts immorally towards you but the greater the immorality towards you the more dysfunctional the marriage or relationship and the more suffering, misery, and dissatisfaction there will be.

A very general conditional communication or sentence is –  “If you do and/or don’t do something(s) only then will I do or not do something(s).”

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONDESCEND+

10169a1ce5f08fbc5dff27dfaad432b4

Condescend: v. to communicate and reveal a feeling of superiority and use implied and/or overt criticism of others

“And if that is too hard for you to grasp, then I will just have to explain it to you again and again.”

This is an example of a condescending remark which is really implying superior learning ability of the communicator and criticizing by implying stupidity in the recipient of the remark with the words explain again and again.

“I have to descend to your level because you are so dim witted!”

Descending to your level implies a superior level of the communicator and here the criticism is overt because dim witted is just a synonym for stupid.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONDITION+

classical-vs-operant-conditioning-2-728

Condition: v. to try and frequently to achieve by controlling a subset(s) for a desired goal(s)

A conditioned response was historically popularized with pigeon, rat, dog, and animal behavior in general where food was primarily used to reward the animals and get them to behave with certain conventional and unconventional manners on command.

You can condition behavior, condition thinking, and condition your physical body to be stronger, more flexible, and more agile or coordinated. Conditioning artistic ability such as playing an instrument, dancing, acting, slightly improving memory, etc. can all be done with practicing in the right manner and progressing in skill development.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONDUCIVE+

creating-a-conducive-language-environment-15-728

Conducive: adj. making goal(s) achievement more probable

When we want to make it more probable for a goal(s) to be achieved we usually try to create a conducive environment which will greatly help in achieving that goal(s).

Sometimes it can be an environment of total silence free of interruptions and sometimes it is an environment of like minded individuals with identical or similar goals which you surround yourself with. Sometimes a conducive environment for learning is simply sitting at the computer and being able to use a search engine to find what you are looking for or what interests you.
