Some worry is a natural human reaction to potential dangers and/or events and concern, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future is normal.

Also the horrible thoughts often don’t come close to future reality which is much more benign in most cases.

If the worry leads to or motivates preventative thoughts and actions to avoid future problems then the worrying has not been useless or wasted time.

Traditionally to aid someone just means to help someone so to give aid a unique definition I chose to limit the definition of aid to nonlifeforms. I used a tool as an aid in my work or the money aided him is proper usage of the word aid. I used a dog to aid me or I aided him personally would be a wrong usage of the word because lifeforms are a major part of the helping process.

Objects are aids on their own in getting things done and humans and lifeforms are helpers in getting things done.

It can be debated whether dead lifeforms such as processed foods are aids in nutrition or help nutrition or unbalance nutrition and I recommend the use of aid for dead lifeforms which realistically should not include living seeds, eggs, raw milk, whole fruits, and vegetables.

Shrimp, salmon, cod, and tuna are four species which are being overeaten and overfished and it is time that we bought other kinds of fish with our money and promoted variety in our diets and the aquatic ecosystem.

Huge nondiscriminating fish nets, no safety net 100% protected areas from any fishing, dead zones from agricultural runoff, damning of spawning areas, and no limitation to quantity of seasonal catches is devastating the fish population for future generations.

Aquaculture is a partial solution but eating mussels and sea kelp can go a long way in cleaning up the water and providing good nutrition also. Here is an excellent ted.com talk on the problem with potentially optimistic solutions in the long duration.
