Bliss: n. sensing serene joy for duration

Serene: adj. existing with minimum activity(s)

Joy: n. sensing much pleasure but less intense pleasure than ecstasy and more intense pleasure than happiness

Two parents alternately holding a baby or a human experiencing the newly found joy of meditation can be considered to be blissful moments. Bliss is not ecstasy or extreme happiness nor is it merely happiness but medium intensity happiness which is joy under relatively serene circumstances which last for duration.
