WHAT SHOULD BE PRIORITY #1 & #2 IN ANY NATION?

Priority number 1 in anyone’s life is one’s health so a healthy organic food supply is priority number 1.

Grow organic food and there will be less pollution from artificial chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, antibiotics, unnatural fertilizers, and GMO’s with manufactured resistance to unnatural quantities of herbicides and pest resistance which also is often poisonous to pollinating bees.

Who is making some of the biggest profits? It is the pharmaceutical companies and medical profession making big profits at the declining health in the nation. Statistically cancer is on the rise throughout the population and drug companies are advertising artificial chemical pills with hair raising side effects which need more pills to treat the bad side effects. The medical profession seems more interested in prescription renewals and comeback customers than in actually curing what ails you.

For cash you can get an MRI for about $300 and if you have insurance the cost can be as high as $1200 or about 4 times more. Yes, medical insurance private or funded by the government is a big money making enterprise often at taxpayer’s expense. The difference in brand name versus generic medicine is often a markup of as high as 1000% or ten times more costly.

Statistically only about 10% of the population is pill free and many seniors are on 10 to 20 pills a day which is just accelerating their demise and sending medical costs through the roof.

I am reluctant to mention the opioid crisis but this is just symptomatic of a legal pill for every problem philosophy whether mental or physical. Mental illness, especially depression, is treated with legal feel good drugs rather than addressing the real problem which is a dysfunctional lifestyle with crappy food intake. Pop a pill and go back to your dysfunctional lifestyle and crappy food is not a cure but merely temporarily masks the symptoms which will get worse once the side effects of the pill kick in.

Priority number 2 is not so obvious to most but it is the conservation and even expansion of wilderness and wildlife because that will be the only safety net for healthy food when the irresponsible technological manipulation of the domestic food supply makes it poisonous for human consumption in the long and even short duration.

Nature knows best in the long duration and if you screw too much and too long  with nature with pollution, artificial insemination, toxic chemicals, and untested long term GMO’s, etc. then you pay the ultimate penalty which is unhealth and death.

Ask and start counting how many of your relatives, friends, and acquaintances have some health issues? The answer to this question once you start counting is shocking to most.

So start eating as much organic food as possible, get some exercise, sleep well and contribute to an international and national conservation organization. It may not do much to improve the world but you will feel healthier and you will live with a clear conscience knowing that you tried to save wilderness for future generations who may just need it desperately to survive.

HEALTH AND GUT MICROBIOME!!!

There is a general adage that states that a healthy mother usually results in healthy offspring. Not only do good genetics play a role in a healthy offspring but also the healthy or unhealthy habits of the mother.

A mother who drinks alcohol heavily, takes drugs, smokes, has a bad diet, and doesn’t get much exercise during pregnancy can all adversely affect the health of offspring. Only relatively recently is statistical evidence mounting that the gut microbiome or gut bacteria have a significant role to play in the health of the offspring as well as the mother.

There is scientific evidence that vaginal births are preferable to cesarean section births because of the healthy effect of vaginal microbes on offspring. That breast milk is preferable to formula milk is an established fact. Breast milk results in offspring with fewer allergies, food sensitivity, and a better immune system for the offspring.

A good gut microbiome is not only important for the offspring but also for a maturing adult. Adults who have taken large doses of antibiotics and antibiotics in general have unhealthier microbiomes which take a long time to recover if they recover at all. The kind of food that you ingest also has a great effect on the microbiome of the adult and offspring.

Malnutrition or a bad diet severely affects the health of offspring. Eating overly processed food, too much sugar, food laced with unnatural chemicals, and not having enough variety in the diet can adversely affect the microbiome of an adult. Also if you eat organic then the probability that you will be healthier in the long duration increases.

Statistically it has been shown that transplanting feces from a healthy donor into an unhealthy gut microbiome of a patient can sometimes cure some chronic diseases, autoimmune problems, obesity, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, and even diabetes.

In aging adults there is a greater variety of microbes in the gut and this is sometimes an indication of more fragile health. Studies still have to be made to conclusively show that introducing the youthful healthy microbiome of a 20 year old into the gut microbiome of an elderly adult has beneficial results but that seems to be a high probability of being so.

Prebiotics or food which is not digestible such as fiber can ferment in the gut and produce some vitamins and it promotes good gut health. Probiotics or actual healthy gut bacteria can be introduced into the gut in capsule form to promote a healthier gut microbiome.

You are what you eat and drink is more scientifically valid than ever before because it means that if you eat healthy with as much organic food as possible then your gut microbiome will be healthier in the long duration.

I disagree with this video on one major point and that is that organic eggs are bad for your health. Despite the fact that eggs have animal fat or cholesterol, the total nutrient balance is quite healthy since an entire chick embryo can develop from it and is not worse than nutritious well balanced whole milk and much better than fatty dairy products such as heavy whipping cream, sour cream, and butter. Of course I would not recommend eating two eggs every day of the week nor would I recommend that you eat any food to excess because each food is detrimental to your health if consumed in excess.

I highly recommend this video because the most important truth is that it tries to exclude foods with added sugar, preservatives, artificial flavors and colors. It is also true that artificial sugars in diet soda are also harmful to your overall health. Diabetes is on the increase and the big food processors don’t want you to know the real truth and it is that too much sugar and artificial sweeteners screw up a good insulin balance and overwhelms the pancreas’s ability to normalize sugar in the blood. Most diabetics can be eventually cured with a radical change in diet which reduces sugar intake to a minimum, unless of course the pancreas has been irreversibly damaged.

 

Eating bad food will not kill you if you only have it once in a while such as once a week or every two weeks. The real key to eating healthy is to try and eat organic as much as possible and eat a wide variety of foods. Since each food, especially highly processed food, has some beneficial nutrients and lacks others, you need variety. Trace minerals are also important and I would recommend that  you eat wildflower bee pollen, sea weed, or Himalayan and sea salt for trace minerals since one food alone will not give you all the nutrients that you need to stay healthy.

HUMANS HAVE THE POTENTIAL AND POWER TO CREATE MODIFIED AND NEW LIFEFORMS!!!

 

Not only do humans now have the power to modify biological organisms but they can actually invent new lifeforms with unique properties which can be passed on from one generation to the next. In the future not only will humans be able to modify themselves but will be able to create new human lifeforms.

There are many ethical questions which arise. Who will control this creation process and who will be responsible for the potential bad side effects of these efforts. Is it even possible that these new creations will lead to the extinction of humans as we have known them?

GMO’s in our food will alter the DNA of future human offspring and can we reverse the potential bad side effects of this consumption if it leads to long duration ill health and death?

Greed for money is frequently the primary driving force behind creating food which grows quickly, grows large, needs the least amount of food or fertilizer, has a longer shelf life, and is resistant to pests and disease and even unnatural chemicals such as herbicides and pesticides. Pollinating bees are not pests and they are being killed by the millions.

Should we let greed be the primary motivator for the creation of future genetic species and let big for profit corporations control our genetic destiny?

Humans will control the evolution on this planet in a Godlike creative fashion and that is a very scary thought given the horrific history of the human race.

Who will control bio engineering, what are the objectives or goals going to be, where will this experimentation take place, and how will tests be conducted before these lifeforms are released into the world at large? These are all serious political and scientific questions and we had better start thinking and talking about possible answers to these serious questions.

You damage possessions and you injure humans but I choose to include the injury of a possession in my definition because injury is better understood by humans than damage to possessions. Injury to a subset can be either a human or a possession and is an anthropomorphic concept which I endorse.

 

With this definition injury to a human or injury to the environment, wilderness, or an object become just as important and can be sensed in visceral human terms.

 

I do not encourage the division of the world into humans and objects or things but promote the idea that both have equal importance or that humans should not be separated from their environment upon which they so vitally depend in the long duration for their health and survival. Humans are not more important than nature from which they should not be separated!!!!!!

 

Don’t injure your possessions but treat them with the respect and admiration which they deserve since they are a part of nature and just as important as you are in the overall scheme of things. There should not be a world of humans and things with humans being more important but a world of things or subsets where inanimate objects are just as important as humans in nature.

My diet does not revolve around a basic diet of burgers and cherry coke which is what apparently Buffet with a little bit of a pot belly is mainly consuming. He should be going organic as much as possible and not invest in food companies which promote highly processed non organic food for profit.

What percentage of this investment money goes into the non organic food industry is an unknown so I can’t be too harsh on him but I do know that he has or is still investing in Dairy Queen which sells overly sweetened, overly processed products in abundance which are not good for you in the long duration.

Buffet is a very smart man with a very stupid diet and I hope that he lives to a ripe old age and does not need any bypass surgery in the future.

While accidents, disease, radiation, toxic chemicals, addictions to drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes, and dangerous or very stressful jobs can make you die prematurely there is considerable disagreement as to what can potentially extend your lifespan. Reducing caloric intake or not eating as much has proven that in rats it can extend your lifespan minimally but all other techniques are not proven.

Your best bet at living a long life is eating healthy organic food, exercising moderately, and not getting involved in dangerous or very stressful occupations or activities. Heart disease, cancer, and Alzheimers are almost inevitable diseases for most humans and if you don’t get any of the big three then chances are great that you will die of old age or natural deterioration.

Sometimes organ replacement will add a few more years if your organ has been prematurely damaged and needs replacement but it will not make you live much past your genetic predetermined lifespan.

Lifespan is primarily genetically determined or you are born to potentially live to an approximate age provided that you don’t do any of the things which can make you die prematurely. Life extension is a billion dollar industry and there are many charlatans trying to convince you that they have the secret to longevity. The truth is that you have an inborn lifespan predetermined at birth and there is very little which you can do to change it.

Yes, there are rare individuals who eat crappy food, don’t move around much, smoke and drink much booze and live quite long but they are the exceptions to the rule and it is a lifestyle which I wouldn’t advocate for longevity for the average human.

Humans take nutritional supplements to hopefully improve a bad diet or to try and cure some disease, illness, or nutrient deficiency. If you eat a wide variety of foods, especially organic ones, then the average human does not really need supplements and taking them daily is probably not a good idea because most supplements are just ball park estimations of necessary nutrients and you are bound to get too much of some of the nutrients which may even adversely affect your overall health.

Nothing is better than the natural balance of nutrients in real food and taking supplements too frequently will make your body adjust to unnatural nutrient intake which is probably not that healthy in the long duration. For example. Why take fish oil when you can get even greater benefits by eating fish in the first place especially if you eat the entire fish such as a sardine?

A truly scientific approach to nutritional supplements would be to analyze all the nutrients in your blood and really determine if you have any deficiencies. This kind of a comprehensive test is not available or is probably so expensive that the average human could not afford it.

Some herbs and supplements can even cause bad reactions with drugs which you may be taking so check with your doctor if you are both on drugs and supplements.

Humans wrongly assume that more is better and the more there is of a supplement then the better it is for you. Taking mega doses of vitamin C or extra vitamin D is not smart. You should instead investigate what foods have natural vitamin C or D in them and eat them or in the case a vitamin D then get a little bit of a suntan every year and get vitamin D naturally. Natural is always better and if you or your doctor determines that you need a nutrient supplement then eat a lot of the natural food with that nutrient in it.

When diseased or ill humans get desperate and they reach for a magic pill or supplements to try and solve their disease or illness. Instead, humans should start eating a wide variety of healthy organic food and some meat or whole milk for protein and fat.

Bombarding your body with a handful of nutrients is not a cure, but if lack of nutrients is a cause of your disease or illness then start eating right and start pumping your body full of natural foods which contain those nutrients and which also contain more necessary nutrients that you aren’t even aware of.

Ideally you should quit cold turkey on bad habits, especially the very bad ones, but unfortunately you are deriving some satisfaction from them and the best realistic alternative is to cut back on them or spend less time on them and to gradually replace them with good habits.

Realize that most bad habits are not a question of yes or no or of doing them or not doing them. The real understanding and truth is that you should have as little of the bad habit in your life as possible. A little of the bad habit does not necessarily have terrible bad consequences and sometimes even a moderate dose of the bad habit is perfectly understandable and acceptable.

 

BAD HABIT: Eating too much of the wrong food:

GOOD HABIT: Eat and drink only when hungry or thirsty even if this means once a day. Start gradually replacing or adding varied organic food to your meals.

If you snack during the day or after work then try snacking on nuts, seeds, fruit, vegies, and meat jerky.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with healthy foods. If you don’t like the taste or it seems tasteless then add your favorite spices, dips, or dressings. Flavorings which you like the taste of will make almost anything healthy which you eat just as satisfying as the overly processed food and fast food which you are used to eating.

If you are hooked on sweet food then try replacing it with sweet natural fruits whenever the urge for sweet food arises. Eating chocolate once in a while or any sweet treat once in a while is not a serious health offense.

 

BAD HABIT: Talking too much

GOOD HABIT: Spend less time less frequently talking to gabby humans. Talk mostly to humans who are important in your life and spend very little time on the rest.

Learn to talk briefly, concisely, and to the point and try to listen more and talk less. Don’t be afraid to interrupt a conversation which is becoming too boring or change the subject to something more interesting.

Social media is the same thing. Limit your frequent communications to humans who are important in your life and only respond to others if they have something new or interesting which they are trying to share.

 

BAD HABIT: Going into debt or impulsive and excessive shopping

GOOD HABIT: Set aside or save about 10% of your monthly income for emergencies such as car repairs, home repairs, medical emergencies, etc. so you don’t have to go into debt.

Before you buy make sure it is something you need and not just want. Ask. Can I do without it for a week or month? If the answer is yes then don’t buy it.

Make lists of things to buy and then don’t do any impulse buying but stick to the items on your list to buy.

Check the things that you have already bought to see if they will satisfy your need to buy something. You may be surprised by how much hoarded items of clothing and kitchen items you have which can be reused again.

Learn to budget your money or break it down into categories and try not to overspend in the category on a monthly basis. If you have allocated a specific money amount for entertainment per month then try not to exceed that limit.

Try to remember the unit prices of grocery food and try to comparison shop always before making up your mind to purchase an item. Try to get the best deal or best value per price paid.

For organic food price should not be an issue because tasty organic food is always the best buy. You will pay more but usually you will eat less off it and the long duration value to your good health is priceless.

 

BAD HABIT: Being stuck in a bad job

GOOD HABIT: Switch to another employer with the same job or learn new skills and knowledge necessary for a new and better job.

 

BAD HABIT: Not sleeping enough

GOOD HABIT: Plan your sleep time so you almost always get 8 or 9 hours of sleep. Prepare for sleep by winding down before sleep with sex, calming music, meditation, a boring show, or soothing shower or bubble bath.

 

BAD HABIT: Smoking too much

GOOD HABIT: Switch to e-cigarettes or smoking a pipe or cigars or don’t inhale the cigarette smoke when you do smoke. You can also try meditation or exercise each time you have an urge to smoke and remind yourself mentally how bad smoking is for your health and well being.

 

BAD HABIT: Watching TV or gaming too much

GOOD HABIT: Be selective in what you watch and only watch something which you really like. Limit your viewing or playing time to not more than about an hour a day. Instead of TV go on the internet and try learning something new and hopefully interesting and useful.

If you are addicted to one genre such as sports then try expanding your interest into other areas such as organic gardening, landscaping, wood or metal working, 3D printing, house repairs, investment, and cars and try becoming an amateur expert on the subject.

 

BAD HABIT: Drinking alcohol too much

GOOD HABIT: Drink a wide variety of beers or low alcohol content drinks  and try drinking for the taste of it and not the buzz.

 

BAD HABIT: Too many medicines or drugs

GOOD HABIT: Start eating healthy with as much organic food as possible, drink healthy with unsweetened drinks, and get some moderate exercise.

Your body will eventually try to cure itself having the right natural chemicals and movement.

Before popping a pain pill try to discover the cause. Is it is too much stress, overwork, or doing the same thing for too long? BAD HABIT: Associating or interacting with bad, depressed, unhappy, pessimistic, and badly addicted friends

GOOD HABIT: Start looking for and start replacing those bad friends with optimistic, happy, and smart friends but remember that you too will have to improve yourself in the process and change to more optimism, happiness, and smartness if you want to keep those new good friends in your circle of acquaintances for longer than a day.

 

BAD HABIT:  Too much pornography 

GOOD HABIT: A sexual relationship with a significant other should be your goal. Too much pornography will ruin healthy relationships with a significant other with unrealistic sexual expectations.  The good habit is a healthy real sexual relationship with a human.

 

BAD HABIT: Too much gambling

GOOD HABIT: The gambling should be for fun and not profit. Trying to make a living from gambling is only possible for some very talented clever experts with outstanding memories who know how to beat house odds and not for those that believe gambling is just a matter of good luck or being lucky with the odds heavily against you.

 

CONCLUSION:

Many of us eventually get stuck in a rut of old bad habits which lead to a rather boring hopeless depressing situation. The key to getting out of such ruts in the first place is to maintain an active curiosity and desire to learn new things and have new experiences rather regularly.

If you have an interesting life thinking about many things, experiencing them, and keeping up to date with your knowledge then you will make an interesting conversationalist with humans that you meet. You will frequently have something in common to share or talk about.

When you stop trying to improve yourself then you begin to die as a human emotionally and sometimes even physically. Expand your intellectual horizons beyond the brainwashing media and poor role model celebrities. Do research on your own and discover some interesting topics to think and talk about. Yes, you probably will need a dictionary at first to get used to the buzzwords but once you learn what they mean the rest is rather easy.

I am interested in almost everything outside of sports and religion and have an opinion or two about almost everything. I have blogged for about two years now and have never had a dull moment even though I was on the computer researching and writing sometimes as many as 12 hours a day. MICROBIOME HOLDS THE KEY TO GOOD HEALTH!!!

The old expression “you are what you eat” is beginning to take on new significance and it is becoming more apparent that your gut bacteria and viruses are influencing most of the diseases or illnesses which you are battling with in your life. Auto immune disease, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, allergies, autism, mental illness, crohn’s disease, heartburn, etc. largely exist because you are not eating natural organic food in a great enough variety as part of your diet.

But more important start eating healthier as soon as possible because conclusive evidence is probably many years away and it is very hard to prove with so much of a variety of food that everyone is ingesting. No one magic food or medicinal pill will be found to cure your problem instead of only masking it so for the time being, eat as large a variety of organic food as possible. If you eat fast food then at least try to eat all the different kinds of it that you can. Variety is the spice of life and it will also keep you healthier than if you eat and drink the same thing over and over again or too frequently!

Wilderness animals and plants eat healthy natural organic food and seldom come down with diseases which debilitate them. Learn from nature, the best teacher and doctor in the whole world!

Well what is cream but milk fat so there is probably no need to take out the fat in whole milk in the first place. My recommendation is that you drink raw milk and not pasturized milk which destroys some vital nutrients in milk. You can regulate the number of calories that you consume on a daily basis by drinking less or more milk and the natural fat in milk will satiate you and you will probably not over drink or over eat  and feel hungry afterwards.

Babies survive on raw breast milk and thrive and ancient Chinese emperor children used to drink breast milk or raw milk up until the age of about 13 and didn’t have weight problems. Greg Dahlen is a weight loss success but a fanatic and I see no reason why you couldn’t include some fish, blood sausages, organic fruits and vegetables, and even meat once in a while. The Masai in Africa survive on a diet of raw milk, blood, and meat and do not have weight problems. The key is to eliminate artificially added sugars in your diet and too many high calorie carbohydrates which cause weight gain in many humans who overeat.

Raw milk alone will restore a healthy balance in your body which is needed for good health and if you have diabetes or heart disease then switching to a raw milk diet with no sugar is a very smart thing to do.

Yes, raw milk is not easily available to most humans so including some organic fruits and vegetables once a week in the diet is recommended and you can drink pasturized whole milk the rest of the week.

Here is a Ted.com talk on restoring a healthy balance of nutrients in your life but it is still a very complicated approach and may not work for you. He argues that too much fat is unhealthy but the milk fat is not unhealthy because it is the natural balance of nature for all mammals.

Yes, you can include occasional veggies and fruits in your raw milk diet but you don’t have to fear adding a little blood or meat to your diet once in a while either.

MYTH: You need to brush your teeth if you spend most of your time at home and are mostly alone without a spouse.

TRUTH: Not brushing your teeth lets the smelly bacteria clean the plaque off your teeth so you don’t need any brushing!!! If you don’t need close social contacts and won’t offend anyone with your mouth odor then don’t brush your teeth and you won’t need a dentist anymore or at least very infrequently and only if you need a filling for a cavity. You won’t need dental insurance!!!

If you have social contact remove small food particles or odor by just sloshing your mouth with water for about two or three minutes every time you feel your mouth is beginning to smell or offend.

Dogs and cats and animals in general don’t brush their teeth and eat soft or crunch bites of food and almost never need a dentist!!!

The real scam artists are the dentists who give you a sales pitch about deep cleaning and twice a year plaque removal and regular brushing and flossing on a daily basis.  The truth is that deep cleaning does more harm to the gums and teeth during the brutal process where frequently local anesthesia is used so you won’t feel the pain when the dental assistant brutalizes your gums. Pain is a danger signal to your body.  Don’t get any deep cleaning and waste your money on a harmful procedure which is unnatural.

Teeth cleaning and bleaching enamel which makes the teeth more sensitive is unnatural and should only be used by celebrities and prominent people in leadership positions who want that white smile for the general public. It is a waste of money for the average human.

Brushing your teeth every day removes the healthy bacteria in your mouth that naturally keep your teeth clean and brushing teeth with toothpaste is the cause of plaque and calculus accumulation!!! So stop brushing your teeth everyday if you possibly can. Your dentist is a huckster sucking money out of your wallet on a regular basis.

When you have gingivitis in old age don’t worry about it and have the tooth removed if it starts to get wobbly and is no longer firmly held by your jawbone. Don’t get crowns and/or bridges and/or cosmetic surgery done in old age if you possibly can because it is a waste of money.  I ruined three of my teeth with one deep cleaning procedure and biyearly cleanings which made my gums worse not better.  I had to pull out four teeth one at a time and decided not to brush or go to the dentist anymore.  The result is that I have a healthy mouth in old age with no more wobbly teeth or gingivitis with four missing teeth. Nature knows best!!!  Your dentist knows nothing about the real cause of tooth decay because he or she is always recommending that you brush away the helpful bacteria which prevent tooth decay in the first place!!!

Sugar is not the cause of tooth decay!!!

Brushing your teeth is the real cause!!!

Put a stop to your lying money grubbing dentist!!!

11 THINGS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY!!!

Having the 11 things listed will make your life with little money bearable, if you have them then making money will be easier, and if you get money then you will be closer to what could be called an ideal existence on the face of this earth.

Good health:

Good health is not truly appreciated by most as being the most important thing to have until you start losing it.

Eating organic food as much as possible, eating a wide variety of it, and adding sea salt or Himalayan pink salt, mountain flower bee pollen, and seafood for micro nutrients is also a smart thing to do.

Avoid overly processed food and foods with added sugar as much as possible for optimum health.

Paying a little more for good food will bring a payoff of great health for a lifetime as long as you also stay away from debilitating accidents and severe addictions to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and sweets.

 

Good and/or moral personality:

Moral humans don’t lie, don’t steal, and don’t commit adultery if married.

You can further improve your personality if you are friendly, sincere, have a guiltless conscience, an open mind, a tranquil mind, patience, a strong work ethic, an optimistic attitude, humility, sharing, teamwork, nurturing, patience, courtesy, loyalty, controlled generosity, good temper, competence, and kindness.

Not everyone has a good balance of the above characteristics but the closer that you get to the ideal the more respected you will be as a human and if you have integrity in abundance then you may even be charismatic and admired by others.

 

A good reputation among humans that you know:

Once you lose a good public or personal reputation among humans that you know it is usually impossible to get it back no matter how much money you spend.

Some con artists who have made a killing cheating humans and have gotten a bad reputation move to different parts of the country or a foreign nation and try to reestablish a good reputation and it is a definite possibility.

No amount of money will get back a good reputation among humans who know you so if you want to continue to live in a community with good repute then don’t ruin your reputation.

 

Responsible offspring:

Money can’t buy responsible offspring. In fact much money in childhood frequently results in spoiled offspring overly dependent on a handout who were never encouraged to manage their money well and work hard for it.

Money can’t buy financial responsibility and responsibility in general but it must be taught and learned.

 

Lasting love and affection from spouse and/or offspring:

Money makes a spouse with offspring possible but once you lose the money or turn off the money spigot you will only have lasting love and affection if you have earned it with moral good behavior which lasts a lifetime.

 

Loyal devoted friends:

Fair weather friends are easy to come by with money but loyal devoted friends when you are down and out are rare and must be earned with more than just financial generosity.

 

Youth in old age:

Money can’t buy back your youth once you age but you can maintain a youthful attitude on into old age if you remain relatively healthy with an active mental life.

 

Talent or inborn ability including natural beauty:

Money can’t buy personal inborn talent, ability, and natural beauty. You can get cosmetic surgery and hire talented humans to do things which you want done with money but unfortunately you can’t choose your parents and you have to live with the inborn talents which they gave you.

 

A fit body:

No magic pill or food will give you a fit body and this is something which you also can’t buy but must do for yourself with active participation and effort.

 

Wilderness:

Once wilderness plants and animals are destroyed no amount of money will buy them back. Money can conserve wilderness and even expand it but once it is destroyed then no amount of money will bring it back and it is lost forever.

 

CONCLUSION:

Money and good educated parents will increase the probability that you too will be good with a good useful education but it is no guarantee.

Ultimately it is your responsibility to usefully educate yourself throughout a lifetime in a changing world.

A good useful education is usually more important than money but it can also be very helpful in making money and ensuring a lifelong bonus of happiness or happy pursuits.

Healthy, moral, smart humans are more important than money. Wilderness and the important lessons learned from it will help those humans on into the foreseeable future.

In the news the most popular form of rehabilitation is for drug addictions, especially of some celebrities. There is also criminal, work, education, and health rehabilitation which is an attempt at getting humans to live normal lives by educating them with the proper skills needed to lead independent healthy lives.

Some rehabilitation succeeds but many drug addicts and criminals can’t be rehabilitated no matter how hard you try and no matter how much attention you lavish on them. Relapses into addictions or crime are common and it is one reason why attempts at rehabilitation are sometimes fruitless and the only solution seems to be permanent incarceration.

The major reason for the relapses is that once the patient  or offender is placed back in the same environment with the same friends, the old stimuli trigger the same old behavior once again and the good effects of the rehabilitation are short lived.

Health rehabilitation after an accident or severe trauma is frequently successful although some geriatric illnesses are just incurable and the best that you can hope for is a masking of the symptoms but no real cure or successful rehabilitation.

Injuring someone else intentionally is stealing someone’s health and there is frequently punishment associated with the act. You may poison, spread a contagious disease, or wound someone and take away or steal their health and have to be punished for it.

It is somewhat revolutionary to say that you can steal from yourself but it is actually true that if you injure, ruin, take away, or steal your own health then you are really stealing from yourself or doing something very bad to yourself.

Some are born with handicaps and some get them at some point in their lives. Many physical handicaps can be compensated for with technology but if you have a mental handicap that is severe enough then there is usually nothing which can be done to improve the unfortunate circumstance.

What is not an obvious handicap is if you are born with a bad memory which will haunt you for the rest of your life. A bad memory frequently means great difficulty in remembering names, humans, words, and events and this frequently means being very slow at learning new skills and bad at remembering and understanding new knowledge. Much repetition or practice will frequently help a bad memory but after a while the repetition becomes an unpleasant burden and many just give up and don’t repeat as frequently as they should.

Schooling is a perfect example where after trying hard to ace exams you are forced to conclude that you are just an average student and must be satisfied with getting C grades or you may be a failing student and content yourself with getting D’s or F’s. Acing tests in school is mission impossible for many, especially in hard subjects, and many turn off the urge to compete and don’t learn much useful information in school which can help them greatly much later in life.

Almost nothing is a greater handicap in life then a bad memory and a bad liberal arts education in the technological 21st century which is a century which values mental power over physical power.

7 MISTAKES HUMANS MAKE WHEN CHANGING TO BETTER BEHAVIORS!!!

It is a mistake to assume that tremendous will power over a long duration will change bad behavior.

You may have all the selfcontrol and determination in the world but if you are going to use will power alone to change to healthier eating habits then you won’t know where to start or put all that will power. You need to do some serious thinking, research, and planning before you can apply any will power to the gradual small steps which you will have to make to start on your road to healthier eating.

It is a mistake to make huge overnight changes instead of gradual steps or changes.

Suddenly overnight buying only organic food and drinks and preparing all the food at home for consumption at work and at home will probably not work because it is too great a shock to your system and you will become very confused about how and when to prepare the food.

It is much smarter to gradually introduce organic snacks into your daily routine and only gradually increase the quantity of the organic food which you add to or replace your regular eating habits with. You enjoy the taste of most of the food which you consume now and chances are it will take a relatively long time to make organic food eating as tasty and desirable in your life.

There is nothing more demotivating than having to eat organic food which sometimes doesn’t taste very good without some sauce or flavoring and forcing yourself to abandon the good tasting overly processed food which you are now probably eating.

It is a mistake to surround yourself with bad role models and an environment which reinforces the bad behaviors which you are trying to change.

If most of the humans which you associate with have unhealthy eating habits and you love to frequent fast food places and supermarkets which don’t have organic produce then the chances of changing to healthy eating habits is rather slim. You must try to surround yourself with external motivators and they are humans who are eating healthy and establishments where healthy food is sold.

It is a mistake to go cold turkey on bad behaviors but better to start some good behaviors which will gradually push out or reduce the time spent on the bad behaviors.

Gradually adding more organic food to your diet will slowly push out the overly processed food which you are eating but that doesn’t mean that you have to totally abandon processed food or can’t have any tasty deserts or no fast food at all.

It is a mistake to think that rationally knowing what to do and where to go will automatically lead to doing those things and going to places to get what you may want or need.

You may have found out which places sell organic food but don’t take the necessary next step in stocking up on some or actually buying some. Old shopping habits and eating habits are hard to change, especially if you find out that it will take a half an hour extra time to travel to an organic food place. You just may be too set in your ways or too lazy to make the extra effort needed to stock up on supplies and prefer eating and shopping at your regular place just 5 or 10 minutes away.

It is a mistake to assume that a new better behavior will be forever.

You may be eating an organic apple as a snack three times a week but this won’t last forever because you will tire of the snack and maybe want to change to an organic banana or pear instead. The beauty is that even good habits can become boring but you can usually replace them with other good habits as the need arises.

It is a mistake to assume that changing behavior is difficult or even impossible.

When you are thirsty then drink. When you are hungry then eat. To make sure that you have something to eat or drink that is healthy for you then consider a tote bag or lunch container filled with good healthy food and drink. Then when you are thirsty or hungry instantly quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger in a healthy way.

CONCLUSION:

An addiction to unhealthy eating can be replaced with an addiction to healthy eating or and addiction to both healthy and unhealthy food which is the compromise most are capable of in this society which is overly biased towards unhealthy triggers enticing us to eat unhealthy in almost every corner of existence.

If you are addicted to gambling, pornography, impulsive shopping, alcohol and drugs then you will have a harder time of replacing those bad addictive habits with new addictive good hobbies and pastimes. It is not impossible once you find out exactly which new hobbies and pastimes would interest you enough to want to commit some time to doing them to some extent for starters.

Of course the smartest thing to do would be to increase your job skills by learning new useful skills and knowledge but unfortunately this will indeed take much selfcontrol and determination since the learning process is not very rewarding for most of us and we would prefer to usually do something else and take the easy way out and do nothing.

This advice should go much further and be propagandized as a potential cure for most depressions, anxiety disorders, and other vaguely defined psychiatric behavioral not chemical “disorders” unless you are talking about insufficient good chemical food nutrients and too many bad chemical food ingredients which can cause metabolic imbalances and impaired natural mental functioning.

Using artificial drugs or natural drugs in too great a quantity or for too long then you are also messing with your metabolism with a high potential for inefficient brain functioning.

This puts the responsibility of living well right back into your lap, puts much of the historical blame to a large extent on bad psychiatric advice and drugs, and reinforces the importance of the basic four priorities in life which is healthy varied nutritious organic food, healthy drinks, moderate exercise, and enough natural sleep.

What the article doesn’t say is that being honest, sincere, dependable, trustworthy, competent, somewhat caring, and faithful will improve your bad social lifestyle. Good social interaction is also important for many and is something which many don’t have. Many socially stress unnecessarily without knowing how to make improvements in relationships and suffer much mental anguish.

Yes, parents and bad role models are largely to blame for dysfunctional social lifestyles which can’t be changed overnight but even here with enough self-control, determination, and proper guidance and encouragement you can make some constructive progress even as spoiled adults. Proper guidance and encouragement takes much time, energy, and money after a crisis so don’t wait for a miracle to happen in your life because proper guidance and encouragement is reserved for the financially well off in this society. You may have to live with a shitty personality but you can be a healthy shitty personality if you don’t ignore the four basics of healthy living and it is almost a guarantee that you will have almost no health crises in your life other than injurious accidents.

Biodiversity is being ravaged at an accelerating pace worldwide and the food supply is also getting less diverse with a stupid emphasis on monoculture agriculture.

Fight for the survival of wilderness real estate by contributing to conservation organizations and patronize a wide variety of certified organic food as much as possible and try new seemingly exotic foods which appear on your supermarket shelves.

Promote biodiversity in the food supply by eating as wide a variety of foods as possible and propagandize in favor of wilderness and its vital healthy plants and animals which are the safety net for the future survival of human civilization.

Humans are not alone on the face of this precious endangered planet and it should be the responsibility of every human to love, nurture and protect or care for the survival of wilderness!!!!!!

Wilderness: n. nature real estate minimally changed by humans

Wilderness is a vital safety net of biodiversity for future humanity when domesticated plants and animals will no longer be healthy food for consumption due to irresponsible interference by technology which emphasizes short duration profit, the use of too many artificial chemicals, and monoculture to grow domesticated plants and animals.

Not only that but emphasis on the growing of very few species in great numbers runs the risk of long duration famine when those few species become devastated by pests and disease and can no longer be grown safely and economically for human consumption.

We will need healthy biodiverse animals and plants from the wilderness to make our food supply healthy again so it doesn’t devastate the health of humans as it is already doing in ever increasing numbers. Overly processed food which is not organic is also a large contributing factor to bad food but once you destroy the foundation of healthy organic plants and animals there are no quick fixes possible any more to reverse the unhealthy trends and unhealthy food supply whose DNA is irreversibly damaged.

A smart human generation should promote certified organic farming and protect and even expand wilderness real estate for the long duration survival of humanity on the face of this endangered precious planet earth.

Untested  GMO’s are the biggest threat to healthy plant and animal DNA because they select plants and animals based on so few criteria such as size, fat content, rate of growth, crop yields, and herbicide and generalized pest resistance when there are hundreds of traits which should be selected for to make a truly healthy food for human consumption. Myopic short duration selection is devastating the health of the current food supply and we will all suffer from the irresponsible behavior in the long duration.

Bees are already dying in huge numbers all proving that current growing methods and altered DNA is injurious to animal health and it is also unquestioningly dangerously affecting human health in the long duration.

Beware of foods labeled with seemingly healthy buzzwords such as antioxidant, immune support, heart healthy, natural, gluten free, organic, whole grain, sugar free, low fat, etc. all of which are designed to sell you frequently basically unhealthy lopsided processed food which is not certified organic or pure highly nutritious food without undesirable chemicals included.

Educating yourself on what ingredients are healthy and which are not takes more skill than just reading buzzwords and making impulsive decisions based on only one or two words which sound healthy but are really deceptions.

If you feel helpless and don’t know what to do at least read the ingredients listed and Google them to find out if they naturally exist in the food or are unnecessary artificial and potentially unhealthy additives.

There is the healthy natural wilderness environment at one extreme and an unhealthy artificial human made environment of apartments, commercial buildings, roads, and transportation vehicles at the other extreme in many cities.

Even many suburbs are devoid of animals other than cats and dogs and there is frequently only grass and some ornamental shrubbery which can’t support wildlife and make it thrive. A ride through many suburbs at night is like a ride through a cemetery devoid of animal life.

The result of this brainwashing is that nature is seldom respected and admired by the inhabitants of cities and suburbanites and they are major pollution sources which makes the surrounding environment frequently unhealthy and impossible for animal habitation.

A biodiverse food supply is being devastated by monoculture agricultural lands and factory style farms producing unhealthy produce loaded with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, artificial fertilizers, GMO’s, antibiotics, growth hormones, and animals reproducing with artificial insemination who frequently can’t breed naturally any longer. Too many don’t respect natural biodiversity anymore and in the quest for the all mighty dollar or profit the food is becoming more unhealthy with each passing year.

If it wasn’t for a small and growing organic food industry there would be no long duration hope for a sustainable biodiverse healthy food supply.

You are what you eat and what you surround yourself with. Too many modern humans are eating unhealthy crappy food and surrounding themselves with a lifeless environment or a coffin of the mind and body.

Humanity is gradually poisoning itself and its offspring with an unhealthy living style without a respect and conservation of natural biodiversity which is the only hope of a future healthy food supply when we pollute all our domestic plants and animals and make them too unhealthy to eat.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONSERVATION

Conservation: n. protecting and expanding biodiversity with more real estate and/or protecting a subset(s) from change

Humanity desperately needs to practice conservation which is the protection and even expansion of wilderness areas throughout the world. Biodiversity is what we came from and to destroy it means to destroy a safety net of healthy animals and plants which we will need when our domestic food supply becomes so polluted and unhealthy for consumption that it will have to be replaced by new healthy food which has withstood the test of time.

One or two seed banks in a mountain cave of all the food plants in the world is just not an acceptable safety net or potential replacement for a bankrupt unhealthy food supply of the future.

Humans selecting dog and cat breeds based on a handful of parameters such as size and beauty has resulted in many unhealthy breeds with urinary problems, skeletal defects, and general all around unhealthiness.

Humans selecting food plants and animals for a handful of desirable traits such as size, beauty, taste,  uniformity of color, fat content, udder size, pesticide and fungicide resistance has resulted in many species unable to reproduce in the wild and unable to reproduce without artificial insemination.

Species totally dependent on humans for propagation is a danger sign and even more problematic and untested is the long duration bad influence of these Frankenstein GMO crops and animals on human metabolism and DNA from generation to generation.

Humans are just not smarter than nature which selects for a thousand and one desirable traits in plants and animals and has tested them for generations on this precious planet and found them to be the most hardy, efficient, and healthy. Untested plants and animals can in reality be considered to be a form of biological pollution which is a very risky crap shoot playing with our long duration health.

What can you do to conserve our healthy food supply for future generations?

Buy as much certified organic plant and animal food as you can afford and tell others to do so too.

Give money to conservation organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, The Sierra Club, Natural Resources Defense Council, The Audubon Society, etc. and propagandize the need for conservation of biodiversity to all your friends and family members.

It may not be obvious that the quality of our meat and milk is decreasing with every year and the use of disease promoting industrial confinement of livestock to small spaces, GMO feed, antibiotics, growth hormones, artificial insemination, and other artificial additives to meat are going to lead to bad health for present and future generations.

Your genetics, the kind of food and drink which you consume, the kind of job that you have, the drugs which you use habitually are all responsible for how healthy you are or will be in life.

Some humans are born unhealthy with allergies, inherited illnesses such as systic fibrosis and sclerosis, and bad immune systems. You can’t cure inherited illnesses but sometimes can mask some of the symptoms with drugs.

Longevity is also primarily genetically based because you can find few humans who smoke, drink alcohol, and abuse their health in other ways and still live to be 90. Others don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, eat a normal diet and die at 40 from a heart attack or cancer and have family members who also die young.

The kind of food which you eat also determines to a large extent how long you will live. 100 years ago few humans died of heart attacks or cancer but succumbed to other illnesses. Today more die of heart attacks and cancer and different processed food, drink, and the additives and pollutants which come with it are the major causes of ill health.

The kind of job which you have also has a great impact on your health. Joint wear and tear, on the job pollution, job injuries, and a sedentary job can all have bad effects on your health and longevity.

Finally addictions to prescription synthetic drugs, smoking, drug and alcohol abuse can all ruin your health eventually and even cause sudden death with overdoses.

CONCLUSION:

Your genes, what you eat, the drugs which you habitually take, the exercise that you get, and accidents all determine how healthy you will be and how long you live. If you feel helpless and don’t know what to do then eat as much certified organic food as possible, don’t use synthetic drugs for extended periods of time, and get some moderate exercise which may only be walking fast about 3 times a week for about 20 minutes. It won’t guarantee you perfect health but it will be better than if you didn’t do those things in your life.
