How to confront the lying Democrat ideology

The real problem with our Republic is that there is too much lying going on which is hurting the long duration trust in government, institutions, entertainment, authorities, and individuals with valid opinions. Who or what can you trust is getting harder with each passing year.

Trump was called a liar thousands of times and he was forced to use the term fake news to fight back at his opponents in the media. Well, the Democrats are in power and the lies continue only the shoe is rightfully on the other foot. The Democrats are liars par excellence and they should be called out for it in an aggressive way. Lie is a very strong word and leads to immediate confrontation and arguments without reason but fake is a possible appropriate word to use. Call the Democrats out on their fake news, fake information, fake statistics, fake polls, fake racism, fake systemic racism, fake white privilege, fake homophobia, fake misogyny, fake diversity, fake equity, fake accusations, fake prosecutions, and fake character assassinations. If something sounds like a lie then call it aggressively FAKE. Yes, governor Ron DeSantis calls 60 Minutes narrative “horse manure” so there are various other synonyms which can be used instead of fake.

Corporate money bags are in control, milking the public, and promoting the leftist Democrat ideological agenda. Hit them where it hurts and where they really care. Their bottom line! A good frontal attack would be to call for the defunding of specific sports and big time corporate profiteers such as Disney, Coke, Nike, etc. If all Republicans would stop supporting these woke pandering institutions with money their profits could fall by almost a half and their customer base could be almost halved in number. Defund BLM, ADL, CNN, MSN, New York Times and any institution with left leaning tendencies.

Historically conservatives have relied on a live and let live philosophy which must change if rational thinking, reasonable discussion, and the constitution is to survive. Politics is not the realm of rational discussion so a counter emotional appeal must be used. I am for a happy family life, your proposal is anti family. I am for responsible fiscal policy, your proposal is more deficit spending we can’t afford. I am for meritocratic education and job promotion, you are for ruining objective standards of excellence with diversity for diversities sake. I am for law and order, you are for illegal immigration and are soft on criminal behavior. I am for human rights and individual liberty, you are for tyrannical oppression and condone organizations which violate human rights like the CCP and terrorist Iran. I am for moral or ethical free speech, you are for censoring conservative viewpoints. I am for the right of law abiding citizens to own guns for self protection, you want a society where only law breaking criminals will have guns and will terrorize society at will.

Questioning must be aggressive. Define what you mean by systemic racism. Define what you mean by white privilege. Define what you mean by equity. etc. Defining doesn’t mean launching into a five minute biased opinion rant on what you think it should mean. If you can’t define the word or words used then you frankly don’t know what you are talking about. You could also then ask them to prove to you statistically that systemic racism and white privilege exists and is not a myth or a fake opinion. A knockout follow up question would be: What new laws would you advocate passing to eliminate this so called systemic racism and white privilege?

Yes, denial that leftist concepts are valid in the first place should be an effective antidote to the nonsense. A single or few examples of systemic racism or white privilege does not statistically prove that society as a whole has that problem. Stereotyping an entire race or group of humans based on a few examples is not a valid logical argument which rings false not true.

America is not a racist country according to Tim Scott a black US Republican senator. The sooner we start calling out the Democrats for their ideological BS the sooner we will start reversing the tide towards totalitarian rule by one party and a systematic assault on the constitution.

I have compiled a list of what I think is a sane rational political view which will benefit most in a nation and world and is the best governing system which you can realistically hope for.

FOR:

Guns for all law abiding citizens without felony records or convictions.

Capitalism for the employed and socialism for the destitute and also unemployed.

Constitutionalism subject to structural amendments such as eliminating state bureaucracies and only having the House of Representatives with additional local rights currently reserved for the states.

Environmentalism but no climate change laws since the change is solar caused and not human caused.

The right to choose especially in financial and health emergencies. An unwanted child is not something which should be forced on anyone.

Gay rights but no special treatment of transgender oddballs. Heterosexual, moral, financially responsible childless families should be given preference in all adoptions.

A secular moral code taught to all impressionable young minds in elementary public schools.

War to defend allies if attacked and war in self defense.

Censorship of immoral and criminal behavior.

Closed borders with relatively liberal legal immigration to fill job demands, especially in specialized and high technology fields.

Freedom for organized religion as long as it is not Sharia law which runs counter to the constitution, especially bad if the religion tries to enforce oppressive patriarchal rules.

Relatively small efficient government.

Enforcement of drug laws which will minimize the harm to children from mind altering legal and illegal adult drug use.

Social security for retired citizens and those with severe disabilities or handicaps.

Strategic free trade so that a nation does not become vulnerable to cyber or military warfare or blackmail.

Efficient robotization of work where possible.

Conservation and expansion of wilderness with wildlife.

AGAINST:

Communism or Government tyranny.

Special interest laws or loopholes, especially for big money individuals, big corporations, and big organizations.

Progressive taxes that are not a uniform fixed percentage for all.

Taxation of organic farming and sustainable non polluting businesses both of which should be untaxed.

Inheritance tax.

The death penalty.

Gender discrimination in general unless it is very demanding physical strength ability or extreme athletic physical ability mostly reserved for males.

Big money is increasingly ruling the world internationally with international banks, international corporations, and international internet or communications beginning to have more impact on the lives of humans than any one country or national organization. In almost every country this globalized money supply is impacting the political leadership of almost every country and a global ideology is beginning to form which is much more collective and tyrannical in nature. Individual rights are being assaulted with more of an emphasis on group rights and group think or group ideology. Putting it another way it is collective rights and collective thinking or collective ideology which is becoming more dominant.

Ironically in its beginning the internet held a promise of individual freedom of expression and individual creativity. With time, money and information power became concentrated in search engines, social media, cellphone companies, and internet commerce all of which now dominate the internet with relatively few corporations being major players and all being able to crush or buy up competitors to increase their profit margin which favors established monied companies which includes monied media companies. Discrimination based on money is rampant but more sinister is the ability to promote collective left wing ideology and censor right wing ideology which still promotes individual rights. It is beginning to look like the tyranny of big money power is being fused with the tyranny of thought control or censorship of politically incorrect thought which champions individual rights and moral or ethical individual free speech.

Economics is now largely a global phenomenon with international trade promoting the rich in every country and more power in the hands of the globally rich. Technology is also increasing the concentration of this money in the hands of the rich nationals and rich internationals but this would not be all bad if it weren’t for the fact that most of the rich have a tyrannical collectivist ideology which threatens to make most individuals little more than impoverished humans living on welfare or working for a pittance often not enough to support a family. This may be an effective form of population control but living an impoverished life seldom helps the culture of a nation to thrive.

Conclusion:

Money power is being concentrated in fewer and fewer hands worldwide, the individual is increasingly being oppressed financially and ideologically, and it becomes harder for one to climb the economic and social status ladder, especially if you start out at the poverty level. For all the members of the technologically educated and elite the future is bright but most jobs will be replaced by computer software and robots. A political and ideological revolution will be necessary to fit the new economic realities where most will not be technologically educated nor smart and ambitious enough so they will largely become dependent on some form of permanent government welfare.

When the internet began it was the days of the wild wild west where you could get all kinds of information for free which included books, music, movies, pictures, news, and blogs. You could comment almost anywhere and prowl the internet with fake ID’s and fake names. With the passage of time viruses, malware, Trojans, scams, spam, and bots started to take up more and more of the internet which has a flawed technology to begin with and no realistic foolproof vetting process.

Scam artists trying to make a quick buck invaded websites with self promoting info and promises of instant wealth. This quickly degraded the websites and caused a lot of dissatisfaction among the idealistic righteous few who erroneously thought that free participation would not lead to an overabundance of web human parasites out to make a quick buck.

In a period of about 7 years starting in 2012 my blog site has had over a million and a half spam comments that Askimet protected me against. Anonymity was another major reason why trust in the internet has reached an all time low with pretentious humans and pretentious ripoff scams.

Along with this chaos cell phones with apps began to make their mark as more information was packaged into brief soundbites, captivating images, and inescapable ads. The computer screen with a nice keyboard was being replaced by a mini screen with fingertip touch composing of messages and images.

Isolating customers from the worldwide web with easy access was done with cell phones with more and more internet companies limiting your potential experiences to selected apps and interests designed to appeal to your political persuasion and your topical interests. The cellphone was an information trap which most ventured into and limited your ability to choose new and better interests as you progressed through life. Siri and Alexa are just a few examples of big corporations filtering acceptable answers to questions posed by the public and putting blinders on to any divergent views or answers.

Today there are serious privacy issues and an emphasis on trustworthy websites. Censorship by social media and search engines is beginning to dominate and independent voices are gradually being suppressed. Much information now is no longer free and you are beginning to have to pay for almost any privilege on the internet such as publishing your articles on a website and viewing the published articles of others.

Only secure websites are being promoted and those are usually the ones making the most profit for themselves and the internet providers. Freedom of choice is drastically being limited and if you are a startup internet company then the chances that you will rapidly grow with millions of interested customers is highly improbable because you are a low human or enterprise on the priority list of most search engines.

Big money with profit as the primary focus is censoring all competitors who have minimal money for promotion purposes. Established companies are making a killing and competitors with a decent following are quickly bought up to avoid competition. If you are working on a shoestring budget with a novel and interesting new idea or business then chances are great that you will get minimal internet exposure with little growth opportunities.

The internet in its primal state was very democratic with potential worldwide exposure. Now the internet is mostly owned by big money interests and is rapidly decreasing in creativity and relevance to the creative community which is struggling to grow beyond a handful of loyal friends and supporters.

Relatively cheap and free information is quickly being changed into paid information and almost every website is trying to fund itself to keep alive and have some dubious presence on the money hungry internet.

The biggest tragedy is that monopolistic international information companies are beginning to censor minority political opinion in the name of an international globalist left wing ideology. Economic prosperity for the middle class is rapidly declining and most western nations are being threatened with a realistic third world status with a few rich at the top and the majority living at close to poverty level. It’s beginning to look a lot like a tyrannical ideological socialist or communist elite at the top and the rest mostly working slaves with minimal rights trying to stay economically afloat.

Yes, there are currently some populist rumblings against the globalist trend but I personally believe that the globalists with their great wealth will eventually triumph in the end and maintain their global world order based on money and a tyrannical ideology which will suppress most dissenters helped with a monopoly on media propaganda.

Maybe it is time to start a new internet where all the users are vetted as having good honest reputations with validated encrypted personal information. Good trustworthy websites with information from reputable vetted sources with no political ax to grind. Sounds like an impossible task but maybe someday such an internet will emerge. In an era of fake news, fake information, and fake reviews I think it is high time to try and reverse this unacceptable trend and enter an era of truthful news, truthful information, truthful reviews, and no ads unless you ask for them.

IS THERE A NON VIOLENT SOLUTION TO A CORRUPT COLLUDING ESTABLISHMENT LEADERSHIP?

It is tragic when money becomes the primary motivation and morality takes a back seat in an anything goes power struggle for dominance.

Top universities accept bribes or donations which predominate in many enrollment decisions and phony enhanced resumes are made for a fee by shady enterprises and then submitted by the children of wealthy parents to top universities.

A financially failing establishment media resorts to tabloid sensationalism to try and enhance their ratings and hopefully boost their bottom line.

The leadership of the deep state colludes with the media and justice department in a more than two year drawn out systematic investigation of Russian collusion by the president only to find out after spending millions of dollars of taxpayer’s money that there was no Russian collusion. During those more than two years it was trial by public media without any real evidence but a stated certitude of guilt by association and circumstantial dubious so called evidence.

Celebrities joined the media in the BS fest with profanities, ridicule, insults, put downs, name calling, humiliations, and merciless criticism. Promiscuity and female abuse and exploitation was and probably still is quite rampant and acceptable in the entertainment business.

Neither the Democratic nor the Republican party has any charismatic and morally sound candidates either in office or running for office. Since the establishment media is on a steep decline it is debatable whether any candidate will be able to work their way up to enough name recognition to challenge Trump with a somewhat notorious nationwide celebrity name recognition.

Big money tech firms and international and national corporations are showing an ideological left wing bias which is further evidence of international globalist collusion with monetary world domination as a goal.

There was and perhaps always has been a politicization of the Supreme Court and recently there are overt attempts at making ideology dominant over constitutional principles.

Opioid and drug abuse is killing more young adults than car accidents, ruining many lives, and marijuana stocks are the new business money craze.

No serious legislative attempts are made to solve illegal border crossings and fundamentally Congress is deadlocked and thus dysfunctional. Can cheap labor and future Democrats be the reason for the Congressional deadlock which goes back about 30 years?

I could go on and on bitching about the sorry state of affairs the United States is in and unfortunately the only solution is more transparency or public internet knowledge of governmental functions, government workers, and special interests which are humans, institutions, businesses, and foreign nations lobbying Congress and their relatives with sweetheart deals.

I left out the most important long duration solution to corruption and that is a fundamentally moral public. A secular moral code should be taught to all impressionable young elementary students so that they know what is right and what is wrong by the age of about 13 so they can be considered to be moral adults.

Knowing what is right or wrong, moral or immoral is a fundamental necessity for humans since the dawn of human cultural history and ethical or moral relativity is just not a good foundation for impulsively judging humans who comprise the vast majority of any national population. By the age of about 13 children should IMPULSIVELY know what is right or wrong from a moral and if you prefer an ethical viewpoint.

Believing in a secular moral or ethical code is a form of self government over one’s behaviors in society because forced morality from above is impossible to enforce if the public does not believe in it and has not been indoctrinated from early childhood. What is that secular moral code? I have offered my suggestion for one in my blog and book titled Secular Moral Code.

If interested the secular moral code is- in nonemergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.

Religion is on the decline worldwide and has been the major repository of morality or advice on how to live peacefully with your fellow humans. Take away religion and a moral indoctrination and you have chaotic dysfunctional behavior in humans. Religious morality has some drawbacks because of all the mythology which is no longer believable in the modern world. But religious morality absolutely must be replaced with a secular morality which most can agree with and form a necessary consensus of opinion.

Join me in trying to make a secular morality popular among the movers and shakers of this world. More realistically try practicing this morality in your own and children’s lives. Most of academia, celebrities, big corporations, and the establishment press have been and are promoting current dogmatic left wing orthodoxy or ideology with an intolerant form of character assassination of the individual and a trampling of individual rights.

They stereotype you and discredit you with misstatements or statements taken out of context, stereotype you as an unacceptable ideologue with guilt by association with individuals from hated groups which you may have had contact historically, and commonly force you into stereotyped subhuman categories such as racists, homophobes, Islamaphobes, misogynists, etc. and thereby accuse you being unacceptable humans worthy of censorship and hatred.

More and more to enter academia, gain celebrity status, work for a major corporation, or become a member of the declining establishment press you must pass the political correctness left wing test. Fail the left wing test and the probability that you will gain national or international recognition is quite low.

This group cultural war with political power as its main goal mercilessly utilizes smears and lies to try to ruin the reputations of individuals who deviate from leftist dogma and are trying to survive financially with careers in the real world.

The truth and facts have never been popular with the masses so it is not surprising that much of the left dogma ignores facts and reality and barrels forward with it’s unrelenting brainwashing in academia, the entertainment industry, large corporations, and the establishment press which is greatly in decline but desperate to get their credibility back.

A censoring destructive merciless dogmatic group assault on individuals and individual rights is unfortunately not a valid solution or replacement for moral decay since morality is of primary importance for any flourishing ongoing society. Financially healthy moral family units are in great decline and the moral reputation of the leadership has sunken to new lows. What the nation and world really needs is a moral revival with a universal secular moral code taught to all impressionable young minds in elementary school and not a tyrannical uniformly imposed dogmatic leftist ideology worldwide.

What does the future look like? It will probably be control by international big money banks, big money international corporations, and bribed politicians spouting a dogmatic left wing ideology which keeps the masses stupid and unaware of the new ruling tyranny of uniform thought or leftist ideology. I am only slightly optimistic that things will get better in the next 20 years for the average American but the top 1% and those on welfare will be doing just fine living off of what remains of the working middle class.

The truth is a hard pill to swallow and relatively few choose to do so. THE TRAGEDY OF STEREOTYPE OR GROUP THINKING!!!

It is easier to view one example of laziness in an individual and stereotype him or her as being lazy. It is easier to view an obese individual and automatically assume that they are gluttonous or an over eater. It is much easier to label an individual Asian or American or European and make stereotypical assumptions about their behavior characteristics.

It is very easy to view one example of hate speech, a gay putdown, a racist remark, a put down of a female and label or stereotype that human as a radical right wing extremist, a homophobe, a Nazi, or a misogynist or woman hater. In most cases humans are imperfect beings and make some mistakes in their speech and communications with others. It is called a slip of the tongue which may have been acceptable speech in the past but is suddenly not politically correct to say today. Too many humans get censored in the media for politically incorrect remarks and it is tragic since on the whole most of the condemned humans are law abiding relatively honest moral humans with good intentions.

Stereotyping is an us or we versus you all mentality where the assumption is that us or we have all the truth, morality, and good sense and you all are untruthful, immoral, and without good sense. The establishment or legacy media is biased in this way and stereotypes individuals and events and attacks them based on these stereotypes and not the actual relevant facts of an event and it’s participants.

Not focusing on actual facts or misrepresenting facts to fit your political agenda is group think at it’s worse and does not seem to be getting any better as major media corporations join in to please the in crowd advocating unreasonable censorship which tries to censor entire categories of views. Left wing views are supposedly good and right wing views bad. The truth is that both political views have some truth to them and there is truth to be found in both the right and the left wing and the best solution is the proper synthesis of opposing views with a common consistent morality good for the individual and good for the collective or group. Yes, the proper approach is to agree to disagree and live and let live if it is a moral lifestyle.

What is the tragedy? It is a tragedy to look for quick fixes and to attack the NRA all of it’s members and every law abiding gun owner and claim that it is their fault that a mass shooting occurred somewhere in the United States. Blaming an immoral act on one organization or thousands of law abiding citizens is not only unjust but a big lie and doesn’t even come close to addressing the real problem which is immoral and sometimes mentally ill individuals whom society has often tolerated for a very long time without addressing the problem which is a purely personal moral one.

The long duration solution is to indoctrinate young impressionable minds with a secular moral code which preaches in non emergency situations- don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder. If the majority of the population shares a common morality then the nation will in general be relatively secure and interactions between most humans will be peaceful ones. Let immorality prosper and not punish it adequately and the security and peaceful interactions are soon lost.

A final note. There is such a phenomenon as copycat killers so giving inordinate attention or media time to serial killings and sensationalizing the events is the wrong thing to do, especially for unknown immoral individuals who decide that they want their 15 minutes of infamy broadcast worldwide, even at the expense of their own lives.

Yes, there must be some censorship in society and laws must exist which promote and reward moral behavior and punish immoral behavior. The real tragedy occurs when society tries to censor entire groups of humans most of which behave morally in society and censor based on inaccurate stereotypes or labels which are forced on individuals or entire groups of individuals.

Maybe it is time to punish serial killers who are still alive with cruel and unusual punishment and broadcast the punishment worldwide? From a pragmatic point of view, this may actually work to repulse other future or potential criminals from the heinous act of serial killing.

I want to end on an optimistic note and hope that eventually a secular moral code will be taught to all impressionable minds in elementary school along with proper behavior norms. The vacuum created by an absence of religious morality shared by the community must be replaced sooner or later with a common secular morality which most can believe in or society will disintegrate into chaos followed by tyranny sooner or later. A mostly moral society is necessary for the long duration survival of a civilized society anywhere in the world.

We all would ideally like swift solutions to the problems of society. Unfortunately the real solution to most human problems is the long duration institution of a common agreed to morality which is far from being a quick fix solution.

Moral: adj. privately and/or publicly conforming to normative standards of goodness and/or rightness in behavior whose origin is frequently from religious and/or ethical standards of goodness and/or rightness

Unity in the nation and the world is almost impossible to achieve because morality, ideology, multiculturalism, and sexism exist and clash with each other if there is not unity of thought on how to handle each of these topics within a nation and within an international ruling body trying to make universal laws for the world.

Sexism is the hardest ideology to reach a consensus on because males and females are not biologically equal and even though mental ability may be relatively equally distributed in males and females there is still the difference of physical strength and height which makes females undesirable in some professions such as elite special military forces, heavy furniture movers, and other professions requiring constant or occasional use of great physical strength and height.

It is also a biological fact that most females are inherently born to be better at raising small offspring due to a tendency to care more or to be more nurturing and protective of young offspring than adult males in general.

Historically most societies have been patriarchal in nature with females being more submissive and males being more domineering and responsible for the protection and financial support of the family unit. Worldwide culturally, male dominance is still prevalent and is dying a slow death.

Cultures with Sharia law in place are perfect examples of sexist cultures where males and females do not have equal rights and probably never will as long as the traditions and laws don’t change through a gradual evolutionary reorganization. Western cultures with relative male female equality are simply incompatible with Sharia law cultures and this is a primary reason why there is violent resistance between the two fundamentally different ideologies.

Yes, Sharia law Muslims can coexist in the United States but they would have to live in separate self sufficient communities like the Amish did historically since Sharia law is incompatible with the United States Constitution on many points, especially those dealing with women’s rights. The Constitution is a political ideology which conflicts with Sharia law ideology.

A financially and morally responsible family unit is essential to the long duration prosperity of a nation and world. Propagandizing unhealthy food, promiscuity, drug use, gambling, and a male versus female ideology is detrimental to any nation and the world. Symbiotic male female family relationships should be propagandized more than hedonistic individual lifestyles for there to be a cohesive culture, cohesive nation, and cohesive world.

Males in leadership positions and many technological professions have struggled hard and aggressively to be dominant in those fields and often have ignored family responsibilities because of a fanatical devotion to work.

I am sure that many females too can be just as aggressive and smart hard working and excel in traditional “male” professions but unfortunately the offspring will suffer if there are not competent nannies or tutors to monitor the progress and encourage the progress of the offspring.

Those who can successfully balance the stress of super human work and family responsibilities at the same time are still few and far between and it is a sad fact of life that ambitious smart hard working parents will often ignore their offspring too much to the detriment of the next generation.

With a decline in universal moral principles to guide human behavior ugly ideology is rearing its head with social justice warriors labeling, attacking, and blacklisting conservatives with opposing ideological beliefs. The result of this “group think” or collectivist ideology is that individual rights are being trampled.

Individuals are being financially and socially destroyed in the name of ideological purity. If you are not a Democrat then you are a racist, misogynist, homophobe, Fascist, Nazi, or white suprematist who doesn’t deserve to be in leadership positions in education, entertainment, business, and society in general.

The old establishment is trying to replace a historical moral consensus with a National ideology to try and counteract the rising tide of social immorality and it is failing miserably. Alternative media is on the rise trying to offer an alternative to the big money corrupted politicians, celebrities, corporations, and educational system.

A multicultural nation is not a recipe for a stable and prosperous nation. The constitution must encourage the assimilation of humans from different cultures into a national cohesion which promotes the free exchange of nonviolent ideas and lifestyles but does not permit the overt oppression of minorities and minority or individual rights.

What is desperately needed is a basic universal secular moral code to replace subjective political ideology, a redefinition of family values which promote peaceful and harmonious symbiotic relationships in marriage, and an educational system which promotes the secular moral code, family values, and a return to useful educational excellence. Useful education focuses on useful knowledge and rewarding humans who invest their time, effort, and ability no matter what their age.

In a fast changing tumultuous technological age, free interactive online internet useful education should be a basic right for all unemployed and also destitute citizens, no matter what their age. Yes, if you are unemployed and also destitute then you should also be provided with free healthy food, drink, clothing, delivered door to door, shelter, emergency medical care, but no motorized vehicle to roam the world with to spend time on trivial pursuits.

Most important of all is to indoctrinate impressionable young minds in elementary school with a secular moral code so that by the age of about 13 they should be able to make impulsive decisions without always having to stop and ask- Is what I am doing right or wrong?

This universal secular morality is- in nonemergency situations- don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.

Elementary school should also be a time when the morality is presented with real life examples and polite public etiquette. Good relationships with others should also be emphasized with real life examples of integrity, honesty, kindness, encouragement, affection, empathy, sharing, cooperation, sacrifice, commitment, responsibility, fulfilling promises, dependability, smart hard work, competence, etc. Other values such as courage, ambition, compromise, negotiation, information research, selfeducation, etc. can also be taught but not in detail in elementary school.

Moral, financially responsible and usefully educated parents should be the long duration goal of every advanced society or nation. Moral education, financial education, and responsible relationship education is of vital importance and it should intensively begin in elementary school in the important formative years, especially for offspring of single parent and dysfunctional parent homes.

A private institution and/or a government department should fill in the details or real life examples of the secular moral code and offer it as a voluntary standard of moral educational excellence. I have done most of the groundwork for this vital enterprise and I am passing the baton on to the educational leadership of the nation and world.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONFRONTATION***

Confrontation: v. reacting to actual and/or potential (conflict and/or challenge) by demonstrating (physical force and/or argumentation ability) and/or evidence with frequently a very intense conviction(s)

The most common form of confrontation is a very intense argument where each side tries to win with their dominant belief, opinion and/or desire. Compromise is seldom considered as an option and it can even erupt into physical violence.

Bar brawls are an example of confrontational arguments leading to physical violence and some protests which start out as relatively peaceful confrontations can degenerate into violence against the police or against opposing demonstrators.

Some confrontations between hostile nations can also lead to violence and if it weren’t for mutually assured nuclear destruction, violent wars or military conflict would be more frequent than it is today.

As long as there are unyielding religious dogmas and unyielding tyrannical governments there will be arguments about ideology and political correctness. Confrontations leading to violence in some form are the inevitable result in this world on into the foreseeable future. Where compromise is impossible confrontation is inevitable.

The classic confrontation is the threat of violence if you don’t give up your wallet in a stickup.

Extortion is also a confrontation which can convince you to behave illegally or give up a possession.

Most confrontations these days are very intense emotional arguments which sometimes escalate into violent action or assault. Abused women and men are frequently examples of violent confrontations.

A difficult situation is one where the husband beats a financially dependent wife with offspring and she fears getting a divorce because of threats to kill her if she does. Divorcing and going on welfare with a cease and desist order is frequently the only escape when the violence becomes truly intolerable or unbearable.

Other severe confrontations are when there is an addict on alcohol, drugs, or gambling and they insist that they don’t have a problem but can function in this world without problems. Unless the addict loses their job, gets involved in a serious accident, or can’t pay the bills there is probably no hope of convincing them that they have a problem which needs action or a solution such as getting off the addiction.

Confrontations where both sides have opposing die hard opinions or beliefs are almost impossible to change and you can get therapists or friends to help you trying to convince someone that they are wrong or behaving badly. If social pressure and a logical approach doesn’t help then unfortunately you may be forced to ignore or avoid the strong opinion or belief and perhaps even avoid the human if they are not your spouse.

CONCLUSION:

If you sense a very intense emotional attachment to an opinion or belief then verbal confrontations are best avoided especially where the subjects may be politics, religion, or sports and they are things which you really can’t change and need not affect your personal relationships if you don’t want them to.

If you can’t turn a confrontation into a calm discussion then empathize with the viewpoint, say that you understand where they are coming from, and express the thought that you have a right to disagree, live and let live.
