THE TRUTH ABOUT MISLEAD+

mislead-graphic-1a

Mislead:  v. to deceive which sometimes may not be willful

It is easy to unintentionally mislead someone with language which has built in deceptions.

Using a word or series of words with vague definitions can easily mislead a human. Confusing directions or complicated ones can mislead a human. Using the wrong words can obscure your true intentions and cause much misunderstanding, uncertainty, and even offense.

Beliefs and opinions often have many exceptions which don’t follow logically from a communication and it is not uncommon for a human to have an opposing belief and/or opinion.

Not reading an emotional state correctly can mislead you into thinking someone is angry, upset, jealous, happy, sad, etc. and they may be in an entirely different emotional state.

Your intentions may be pure and truthful but communicating clearly without misleading or even offending is not always possible.

Politicians can be very deceptive and when they are doing so intentionally then they are misleading you intentionally. What makes political deception so believable is that some truly believe in their sloganeering dogmatism or propaganda.

THE TRUTH ABOUT INFLUENCE+

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Influence: v. to control and/or affect a subset(s) intentionally and sometimes unintentionally with a lasting effect(s) and not always with a commanding action(s) only and frequently by being an authority and/or by being respected for ((achievement and/or competence) and/or expertise) and/or by merely existing in our lives and/or by being desired

We are influenced by humans and lifeforms, objects, and events and the influence sometimes continues for a lifetime or any duration in between.

We have all tried to influence our offspring, significant other, spouse, friends, and other humans with our opinions, beliefs, expertise, demands, and material possessions to feel good about ourselves or to try and derive some benefit from the interaction.

Despite our best attempts at persuasion an offspring or other human just does not obey us or take our advice and maybe even does the opposite of what we would like them to do.

In order to influence someone you need to be in an authoritative position or respected for your expertise in some field to have maximum impact on the one whom you are trying to influence. The more humans trust, respect, and maybe even admire you, the more influence you will have on their lives.

Similarly the humans who influence us the most are the ones who are in positions of authority over us or are humans closest to us whom we respect and maybe even admire. Politicians, bosses, celebrities, offspring, significant other, spouse, and close friends can also influence our lives and make us do things and think thoughts which can change our lives for better or worse.

Sometimes we have no power over who influences our lives but the smartest thing to do is to try and surround ourselves with as many good humans as possible so that most of the influence is good and not bad.

Influencing is not always a conscious activity which we are aware of. The media, advertising, and humans whom we would not like to be influenced by may actually influence us by their mere dominant existence in our lives. There is good and bad in the world and unfortunately the bad can also subconsciously influence our lives and make it worse than we would like it to be or given enough time can even change our opinions and sometimes beliefs.

Sometimes we make a mistake trying to influence someone a certain way and the influence may actually be unintentional which can have unintended good or bad consequences. We may ask our offspring to obey us but our personal behavior may be much different and influence them in an unwanted way. Do as I say and not do as I do leads to much unintentional influencing because actions speak louder than words.

You can also influence humans transiently with deceptions, untruths, and ego inflation but once your deceptions, untruths, and insincere praise becomes known your power to influence will wane and even come to an end and more importantly you will lose your good trusted reputation.

Influenceun: n. unintentional influence

THE TRUTH ABOUT INJURY***

injury

Injury: n. stealing health intentionally and if the injury is selfinflicted you are stealing your own health intentionally and/or ((personal and/or group rights) violation(s)) and/or (financial damage(s) and/or emotionally traumatized)

Injuruny: n. stealing health unintentionally and if the injury is selfinflicted you are stealing your own health unintentionally

Injuries are basically intentional and unintentional and if they are unintentional and done by someone else then they can sometimes be forgiven for injuring you. You can injure yourself unintentionally with bad eating, smoking, drugs, alcohol, and an accident or another way of saying it is that you have stolen your own health and it is frequently not someone else’s fault.

Injuring someone else intentionally is stealing someone’s health and there is frequently punishment associated with the act. You may poison, spread a contagious disease, or wound someone and take away or steal their health and have to be punished for it.

It is somewhat revolutionary to say that you can steal from yourself but it is actually true that if you injure, ruin, take away, or steal your own health then you are really stealing from yourself or doing something very bad to yourself.

Health: n. living and being free of disease and/or bodily handicap(s) but with old age health decreases

There are other personal injuries which are possible and they deal with (personal and/or group) rights violations, financial damages, and intense emotional traumas. These also may sometimes be unintentional and not intentional with correspondingly less punishment given if processed in a court of law.

THE TRUTH ABOUT NEGLECT***

neglected1

Neglect: v. to intentionally or unintentionally ignore and/or not care for adequately

Neglect can be unintentional or intentional and a misunderstanding and confrontation frequently exists when unintentional neglect is considered intentional. Forgetfulness is frequently considered a form of neglect and it is rampant in society. If you really cared about me then you wouldn’t be so forgetful!

Humans do forget and some more than others and failed promises to do something is frequently considered intentional neglect.

Males neglecting to spend enough time with offspring is frequently viewed as a sign of parental negligence or simply not caring enough and effectively ignoring offspring. Child neglect by both parents is frequently considered child abuse since offspring frequently don’t get the care they deserve or need.

Negligent businesses and landlords are sometimes sued in court and some lawyers make a killing from negligence cases. Negligence is frequently a question of being responsible for doing something and not doing it.
