THE TRUTH ABOUT ASSESSMENT+

Print

Assessment: n. estimating and judging the subsets of a set

An investment assessment can be made of stocks to determine which ones to invest in if any. Sometimes assessments are made as to the probability of achieving a goal(s) and all the details which go with the achievement.

To answer the question -“ Is it worthwhile doing?” , frequently means that one must assess the situation before action is taken.

THE TRUTH ABOUT IMPARTIAL*

240_F_73847132_nu9XxYackirkhjJzdHds7emqPAtFlarP

Impartial: adj. justly judging a dispute with no financial and/or cloose correspondences with the disputants

Cloose: adj. existing at a relatively (short distance in space and/or small time interval) and/or (small number and/or small degree) and/or small quantity

An impartial judge or human is frequently one who is relied upon to give a more just judgment or decision about a dispute because that human does not have any relationships with the disputants nor any financial ties which relate in any way with the dispute. There may still be subjective bias in an impartial decision or judgment but it is usually not because of any formal relationship with the disputants.

THE TRUTH ABOUT IMPLAUSIBLE*

my-dear-just-because-something-seems-implausible-doesnt-make-it-impossible-think-about-how-long-people-believed-the-world-was-flat

Implausible: adj. judging a subset(s) to be minimally probable because it subjectively seems (improbable and/or untrue) and/or (unreasonable and/or unconvincing)

How often have you impulsively sensed based mostly on prior experience that something is improbable, untrue, unreasonable, or unconvincing? The extreme doubt which you experience is called implausibility.

Implausible is not impossible sometimes because personal subjective reactions and evaluations of reality can be wrong and the implausible is in fact the possible.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CON*

10-shocking-weight-loss-facts

Con: v. to cleverly and fraudulently persuade but impossible to prove beyond a reasonable doubt before a judge and/or in court unless there is actual (audio and/or visual) evidence of the crime and/or evidence from many reputable witnesses

If you are cleverly and deceptively persuaded to do and/or say something which results in something being stolen from you then you have been coned.

You can be coned in many more ways than some 10 major ones which you can read about in this link-

http://www.toptenz.net/top-10-con-games.php

A con game is really not the right words to use since it is really a con ripoff which results in something being stolen from you and it is frequently money. Coning may be considered an exciting game by the criminals themselves but it is still immoral and criminal behavior.

Con artists is frequently used to describe humans who thrive at deceiving others with clever persuasive means and frequently get away with the fraud without getting caught and punished for it.

Some con artists cleverly and deceptively manipulate your affections and get what they want in return resulting in many injured feelings and frequently a maxed out bank account and/or credit cards.

THE TRUTH ABOUT PLAUSIBLE+

impp_1010_04_o+voltage_stabilizers+plausible

Plausible: adj. judging a subset(s) to be probable and/or believable because of a relatively large degree of (probability and/or truthfulness) and/or reasonableness

A plausible opinion is believable because it sounds truthful or reasonable and is probably valid.

A plausible future event(s) is also believable because there is a relatively large probability that it will happen based on our knowledge, experiences, and understanding.

Whether it is a plausible belief, opinion, or thing to do it is something which seems personally largely probable, truthful, and reasonable to you. If something is plausible then you are more likely to believe and decide to take actions based on that something.

Personal bias plays a major role in what seems plausible or not because it is your personal judgement largely based on prior experience and not necessarily one based on your objective observation and logical thinking. When plausibility is in question we seldom have or take the time to observe objectively and take time out to think about it logically.

THE TRUTH ABOUT SUPPOSITION+

maxresdefault (1)Supposition: n. judging a large probability without proof and/or certainty based largely on historical precedents and/or experiences

THE TRUTH ABOUT TRIVIAL*

trivialpursuit

Trivial: adj. subjectively and/or objectively judged to have minimal or no value

Trivia is generally useless information recalling a random name and/or event and/or fact which happened in the past but usually can’t be used for further intelligent conversation. Trivial pursuit may give some humans with phenomenal memories some enjoyment and feelings of great selfworth but to live a life of trivial pursuits is a tragic waste of human potential.

It can perhaps be said that many lead trivial lives but I would prefer to say that they lead mediocre ones because no human life should really be considered trivial or a complete waste of time, energy, and money.

Something which is rejected in one way of looking at unacceptable. You can personally reject something, an authority figure can reject something and the rejection has more clout, or a group(s) of individuals can reject something and make it unacceptable.

THE TRUTH ABOUT UNFAIRNESS*

justice-injustice-375x250

Unfairness: n. judging a subset(s) to be bad based on a biased subjective opinion about justice

Life is basically unfair. We are born with certain mental and physical potential and are unique and different from all the rest. We are not born equally with equal potential nor in equal environments which shape our lives as we live.

Some are healthier than others, some run faster than others, some are shorter or taller than others, some have better memories than others, some are stronger than others, some are born into different social and economic classes of humans, and all this means that not everyone has an equal chance to succeed at whatever goal(s) which they have in mind.

Who you know is frequently more important than what you know and having the right social connections can determine to a large extent whether you will be successful in life functioning at the level which you have envisioned for yourself.

If you are starting from the impoverished bottom then you will have a mighty struggle trying to climb the social and economic ladders set up by society.

It is a shocking revelation to some that computer software can be made to be smarter than the average human and that means that standardized old tried and true jobs will be in jeopardy in the near future for even highly skilled professions such as doctors and even lawyers.

To make the social and economic system fair or just in the future there will have to be basically two classes of humans- Those that are working or wealthy enough not to work and those who are destitute and unemployed and living totally on welfare.

To still make the system fair or in reality just we will have to provide free technological and scientific internet education to all those on total welfare willing to put in the time, energy, effort, ability, and achievement so that they can escape total dependence on the government and taxpayers.

At any age if you lose your job due to obsolescence then you will wind up on welfare and have to spend time reeducating yourself with knowledge and skills necessary for a useful job in society.

There will of course be many who will not have the motivation to reeducate themselves and they will remain on total government welfare for the rest of their lives.

A just society will make sure that those on total welfare do not enslave the working class by demanding a luxurious lifestyle while on welfare with their equal right to vote. It is logical to conclude that the voting power of those on total welfare will have to be reduced to a fraction of one vote since it is not fair or just to give equal voting power to those who are not contributing towards the welfare of the nation but are in fact permanent or temporary parasites on the economic system. The greater the number on total welfare, the smaller the fraction of a vote becomes or there is an indirect relationship between number on welfare and size of vote.

This political voting readjustment may seem radical to most but it will have to be done at some point in the near future so the economic and political system can survive and not have to declare total bankruptcy from overspending on the welfare class which is growing by leaps and bounds on into the foreseeable future.

10 IMPORTANT SOCIAL TRUTHS ABOUT HUMAN NATURE: PART 4

hands-on-globe-42

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Political, social, and economic empires do not come into existence overnight but usually take much money, blood, work, and effort over a relatively long duration to reach a dominant position in the world. The US empire wasn’t built in a day and it will probably collapse just like Rome did since it is making the same mistakes as Rome in its declining days.

If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

More and more big government is beginning to operate this way and harming society.

The more corrupt the state, the more laws.

Laws are passed to protect and support the powerful monied special interests and the more special interests there are the more laws must be passed to legalize theft from the public or taxpayer.

The more laws the less justice.

More laws make those in power more powerful and there is less justice for those trying to reach positions of power. Some environmental and safety considerations are the exceptions to the rule but overzealous safety regulations can lessen the quality of the food supply.

Silence is golden.

This is especially true when trying to avoid a heated argument about problems or confrontations which seem to have no solution or winner.  If you don’t have anything nice or useful to say, frequently don’t say anything at all.

Stupid is as stupid does.

This just states the fact that unless you behave stupidly or do stupid things, no one usually suspects that you are indeed stupid.

A grudge remains in your mind too long.

Mentally a grudge can take up much of your thinking time and this is frequently considered wasting mental energy without a useful goal.

A house divided cannot stand.

This just means that frequently a group of humans, with two radically opposing points of view, will eventually divide and go their own ways.

Being judgmental is a sign of life

This sounds better if you say that making choices is a sign of life.  Making snap judgments about humans can lead to many misunderstandings which are not true, so be reluctant to judge a human too quickly. Unfortunately stereotyping people or making hasty generalizations about people is a fact of life for most.

A man is known by the company that he keeps.

This is another way of saying that birds of a feather flock together and you can generally make accurate generalizations based upon the company that someone spends most of his or her time with.
