DO YOU NEED A THERAPIST?

therapy-Flickr

There are family councilors, general councilors, psychologists, and psychiatrists all claiming to have therapist status. There are also occupational, speech, and other specialized therapists who don’t treat relationship problems.

If you have acute insomnia, have frequent wild mood swings, have suicidal thoughts, are chronically depressed, or hear voices in your head then medication and a psychiatrist may be a logical alternative.

If you are depressed, have a dysfunctional family life, have a severe addiction, are stuck in an abusive relationship, or are going through a very traumatic moment in your life then a psychologist or councilor may be your best choice if you feel that you can no longer cope with your life on your own.

Finding a competent and reputable therapist is like looking for a needle in a haystack because most psychiatrists are interested in making money and are prone to offer pill solutions to severe problems which get you addicted and medicated for life with minimum time invested and no cure with many bad side effects.

Most psychologists and councilors are well intentioned but tend to be inexperienced, are steeped in situation ethics, and are too prone to give superficial advice on how to deal with severe emotional stress. Talking seldom solves severe problems which need radical environmental change which means changing a job, getting a divorce, going to rehab, or finding moral healthy friends to replace the bad ones.

Talking alone may result in a human leaving the therapists office in a good mood. But returning to their daily environment has all the trigger mechanisms which reinforce the bad habits which they have and the one hour therapy session can’t compete with a dysfunctional environment which reinforces the bad habits which the patient is burdened with.

Relatively minor relationship problems may be solved by a therapist but severe ones are seldom solved since it requires much money and major behavioral change which few adult humans are capable of because they are financially poor and trapped in their bad habits and bad environment on into the foreseeable future.

If you have integrity, are trustworthy, dependable, competent, friendly, and empathetic then chances are that you won’t need a therapist. If you don’t have integrity, are untrustworthy, not dependable, not competent, not friendly, and are not empathetic then all the therapy in the world will not cure you or solve your relationship problems. You are a severely handicapped dysfunctional human being that talking therapy will not cure.

If you are a city dweller with severe stress and emotional problems which are out of control and no therapy works on you then consider moving to a farm or farm community and getting in touch with nature and a heavy dose of physical labor. This kind of radical behavior modification may solve most of your severe emotional problems and recondition your mind and body in a healthy way.

THE TRUTH ABOUT ECCENTRIC*

Eccentric_Logo

Eccentric: adj. a human deviating greatly from some social norms but not judged to be mentally ill and/or a serious threat to society

Eccentrics are interesting humans who don’t fit into all the accepted social norms yet still manage to survive successfully in their own personal lifestyles. Eccentricity can be a drawback if you are in a leadership position where normal behavior is expected and respected.

For one with a steady job and rather minimal social interaction eccentricity is a welcome change from the mundane boring existence of most humans who follow the normative crowd. Sometimes eccentrics are revolutionary figures blazing new trails for acceptable human behavior and others remain social misfits who live out their independent lives without making any significant impact on society in the long duration.

THE TRUTH ABOUT PSYCHIATRY+

psychiatrydrugs

Historically about 2 to 3% of the population was diagnosed with mental illness. Today the number is approaching 25% of the population in the US with some kind of mental disorder. The list of behavioral disorders or great deviation from the norm is almost endless with attempts made to even include manic compulsive shopping disorders. Deviate greatly from normative behavior and you can be classified into a psychiatric vaguely defined disorder or mental illness to be treated with drugs and the list keeps growing every time that the new psychiatric manual is updated and comes out.

The real solution to most supposed mental illnesses is a healthy diet of food and drink, getting some moderate exercise, getting off addictions to illegal and legal drugs, changing to a less stressful job, associating with better non addicted moral friends, ending dysfunctional marriages, reading and researching self improvement info, doing some volunteer work for a non profit organization to escape loneliness, and trying to lead a more purposeful constructive life without the live for today and do what feels good mentality.

Instead psychiatrists have an instant solution or pill for all your problems, get you addicted to drugs with terrible side effects which mess up your mind even more, and with the major drug companies laugh all the way to the bank.

Psychiatry has become an immoral scam of pill pushing not doing anything positive about reforming society but making problems worse for most individuals who seek counseling in a desperate attempt to make their dysfunctional lives function better. Psychiatrists should be doing the work of historical priests, rabbis, mullahs, etc. giving realistic advice on how to live a proper healthy moral life instead of giving pill advice which is no advice or guidance at all.

I have utter contempt for the psychiatric “profession” and wonder when humans will finally wake up to the scam and start seeking help elsewhere for their dysfunctional lives.

Feel depressed? We have a happy pill for that which will elevate your mood. Feel hyper? We have a pill for that too to calm you down. Stop taking the pill for a while and you have worse or more depression or more hyper behavior because the drugs alter brain chemistry and addict your brain to the medication.

If you have insomnia the pills actually are glorified sleeping pills and when you stop taking them your insomnia gets worse and you start suffering from all the mental symptoms of prolonged sleep deprivation which can really start making you behave in crazy ways with hallucinations, incoherent thoughts, and other mental delusions.

Sure a very small percentage of the population do have very severe mental illness which makes them unable to function properly in society and they have to be medicated but definitely not close to the 25 % of the population today.

If you are classified mentally ill and are on medication then chances are about 7 out of 8 that you are royally being screwed over by the psychiatrist.

THE DECEPTIVE FRAUD OF A HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE FOR DEPRESSION

Depression_article-by-Lee-Kotsalis

I have analyzed the Pfizer Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) which determines whether you have severe depression and a “chemical imbalance” in your brain which needs to be changed chemically.

The questionnaire does not have an answer where you are always in the states mentioned in questions 1 thru 10 for the past 3 weeks. The most severe or extreme answer is “almost every day”.   Well, if you do not have trouble concentrating on things such as reading the newspaper or watching TV EVERY day and all day long or thoughts of hurting yourself EVERY day and all day long then it is obvious that you do not have a PERMANENT chemical imbalance in your brain but that you have thoughts and feelings and concentration which COMES AND GOES. A chemical imbalance does not come and go!!!!!

Even if you answer that you have no problem concentrating or that you have no feelings of wanting to be dead or hurting yourself you can still be diagnosed with having severe depression with a score of 24 which obviously implies that you need to be taking anti depressive medication or drugs.

Sure you may have little pleasure in your life, feel hopeless, feel tired, overeat, feel like a failure, move slowly, and this might affect your work, personal relationships, and keeping a neat and clean home but it is not a sign of a PERMANENT chemical imbalance in your brain which needs drugs to cure.

If you are working and have not been fired then a shitty job may be the reason for your depressed feelings or if you may have overwhelming debt and a bad family life then it may also be giving you depressed feelings. Taking psychotic drugs will not improve the job nor make your family relationships any better. Instead it will only be an artificial chemical stimulant in the brain which will then cause a REAL “chemical imbalance” in your brain with many bad side effects which will then be treated with more medications or switching to another drug or medication.

It is glaringly obvious that this questionnaire is a fraudulent excuse for prescribing a pill for your problems and not eliminating the SOURCE OR CAUSE of your depressive feelings which would make the depressive feelings go away. If the source was changed to a better job, family counseling which worked, or even a divorce if the family problems are unsolvable then the depressive feelings would also begin to disappear or go away.

Loners with a shitty job or no job at all may also be very unhappy and unsatisfied with life and feel that there is no purpose in life. Taking a happy pill will not improve the sources or cause of their depressive feelings either. They need radical behavior modification which is too expensive in the real world for most so counseling may help a little but if not, then they will just have to learn to tough it out and live on day to day with their bad feelings and bad habits.

CONCLUSION:

The drug company questionnaire is a deceptive inaccurate vague predatory trap to convince many unhappy individuals that they need drugs or a pill as a solution to their bad behavioral problems or bad habits and unhappy state of mind. Radical behavior therapy or eliminating the real sources or causes of the depressive feelings is the REAL SOLUTION to the problem and not a magic feel good artificial chemical pill with disastrous side effects.

This questionnaire is a perfect example of a highly subjective biased tool for selling expensive drugs and giving psychiatrists a good living income with repeat customers hooked for life on medication which they don’t need and won’t cure the cause of their unhappiness!

Here is a link to the questionnaire if you are interested in the details.

MORE EVIDENCE THAT PSYCHIATRISTS ARE DRUG PUSHERS MISDIAGNOSING ADHD!!!!!!

pill_pusher-page2406

9% of school aged children are diagnosed with ADHD in the United States. Only .5% are diagnosed in France and the numbers are significantly less in other European nations. Good nutrition and good parenting styles are the probable reasons why ADHD is so low in France. American offspring need better parenting and better food not drugs with bad side effects!!!!!!

The same can also be probably said for misdiagnosis of bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, and other “mental illnesses” where popping a pill is the answer and not healthy eating and radical behavior modification to cure what is frequently a bad dysfunctional lifestyle and not mental illness but merely a bad deviation from normative behavior.’’

Here is the proof in psychologytoday.com.

THE FRAUDULENT STUPIDITY OF PSYCHIATRIC BIPOLAR QUESTIONNAIRES CAUSING BIASED MISDIAGNOSING!!!

Doctor and young woman patient talking to each other.

Read this questionnaire and then find out why most psychiatrists are non-scientific quacks who don’t know what they are talking about and should be shut down as a valid profession in society except in the drug treatment of violent offenders in jail.

Not only is the included 12 question questionnaire unscientific because it doesn’t accurately determine the frequency of the behaviors mentioned or how many times a day, week, or month the behavior exists but it is subject to extreme bias if the answerer lies and answers “very much” on all the 12 questions.

This questionnaire is definitely not proof that someone has a bipolar personality disorder and is the reason why so many relatively normal humans are misdiagnosed as needing drug treatment for mere social deviance from normative behavior.

It is obvious that there is an emotional problem if you intensely cry and laugh five to ten times a day, or if you can’t concentrate on your work because of intense emotional feelings existing five to ten times a day which pop into your head spontaneously and then just as quickly subsides and this goes on for weeks at a time. The questionnaire does not determine if this is the case.

If your very intense emotions are interfering with the quality and quantity of your work and you are on the verge of being fired then you may not need a sedative drug but a new line of work instead. The questionnaire does not determine if this is the case.

Bipolar Screening Quiz

By Ivan Goldberg, M.D.

Use this brief, time-saving questionnaire to help you determine
if you may need to see a mental health professional for diagnosis
and treatment of bipolar disorder.

Instructions: The items below refer to how you have felt and behaved over much of your life. If you have usually been one way, and have recently changed, your responses should reflect how you have usually been. In order for the results of this quiz to be most accurate, you should be 18 or older and have had at least one episode of depression.

(What in the world does ONE episode of depression mean? That you had a very bad day on the job and got nothing done so you felt depressed!)

I am a  year old Female / Male

1. At times I am much more talkative or speak much faster than usual.

How frequently does this happen? Once a day, week, or month because we are all more talkative depending on the circumstances. What in the world does “at times” mean? At times I am very much talkative. Aren’t we all at times very much talkative?

2. There have been times when I was much more active or did many more things than usual.

How many times have you done more things than usual? Once a day, week, or month because we all are more active some days than others. There “have been times” when I have been “very much” more active. Haven’t we all!

3. I get into moods where I feel very ‘speeded-up’ or irritable.

How many times have you felt more irritable? Once a day, week, or month because we all have more irritable times some days than others. I get into moods when I am very much irritable when I am trying to do something important and someone is constantly interfering.

4. There have been times when I have felt both high (elated) and low (depressed) at the same time.

This is impossible biologically to have two moods at the same time so this question should be totally eliminated from the questionnaire!

When we get hot over the opposite sex we are very much more interested in sex and it is a symptom of normal people not illness. This question is irrelevant!

How many times have we been more confident than at other times when we feel no doubt? We all frequently  experience great self-doubt when we don’t know what to do and have great doubt about the outcome.

It depends on the circumstances and is not a symptom of illness. Once again, do you feel that way once a day, week, or month?

How many times has the quality or quantity of your work changed? Once a day, week, or month because we all have experienced bad work days and good ones the next. If you do have erratic work habits then it is a result of an inability to concentrate and the question should be asked about ability to concentrate on the work and not the indirect question which this is.

8. For no apparent reason I sometimes have been VERY angry or hostile.

We all feel very angry or hostile “sometimes” when confronted with rude or bad people in our lives so this is definitely not a sign of illness.

Creative thinking is rare in people so being mentally dull is the fate of most people. Once again, how frequently does this swing from mental dullness occur? Once a day, week, or month?

10. At times I am greatly interested in being with people and at other times I just want to be left alone with my thoughts.

We all are interested in being with people sometimes when we feel lonely and at other times we just want to be left alone. It is not a sign of mental illness.

11. I have had periods of great optimism and other periods of equally great pessimism.

Not at all
Just a little

Quite a lot

When confronted with hope of success we are all optimistic and greatly pessimistic when the odds seem to be against us. Once again does this happen once a day, week, or month?  It is definitely not a sign of mental illness!!! And most people don’t swing from intense optimism to intense pessimism in one day because we usually don’t do enough things to feel optimistic or pessimistic about on a daily basis.

12. I have had periods of tearfulness and crying and other times when I laugh and joke excessively.

Not at all
Just a little
Somewhat
Moderately
Quite a lot
Very much

We all are tearful when confronted with emotional disaster in our lives and laugh and joke excessively when we are happy and having a good time. How often do we vary from unhappiness to happiness all depends on what we are doing. Does it happen once a day, week, or year? Or does it happen 20 times a day?

Psychiatry is not a science and it shows its stupidity in the way that it analyzes non-violent mental illness and then pumps you full of drugs with terrible side effects and withdrawal symptoms. If you are non-violent and diagnosed with mental illness don’t take any drugs and ask for therapy instead or you will be hooked or addicted to terrible drugs for the rest of your life.

HISTORICALLY THE MYTHICAL PSYCHIATRIC PROFESSION WAS DESIGNED TO TAKE OUT DEVIANT BEHAVIOR FROM SOCIETY AND INCARCERATE NON VIOLENT SOCIAL DEVIANTS!!!

I have no respect and not the slightest admiration for the fraudulent drug pushing psychiatric “profession” which is screwing around with human lives and making them worse not better in most cases.

Patients should be undergoing radical behavior modification which teaches them to eat healthy, get moderate exercise, acquire new useful skills, and how to interact healthily with other humans. Most need radical reeducation and have to start doing things in life which don’t make them “crazy” or “mentally ill”. Mood altering drugs with devastating side effects are not the answer in about 95% of all cases!!!!!!

If you are an alcoholic or drug abuser who can’t find purpose in life then you will not find it in a shrink but need to connect with purpose driven moral individuals. Where do you find such humans? They are rare in this relativistic immoral society so you are probably out of luck unless you read more of my blogs, some of which have the answers to your problems.

PSYCHIATRY IS A DRUG PUSHING PROFESSION WHICH MISDIAGNOSES MENTAL ILLNESS WITH STUPID INCOMPLETE QUESTIONS!!!

 unisex-white-patient-straight-jacket-by-asylum-s-m-or-l-8fa7

A psychopath is a person suffering from chronic mental disorder with very abnormal and/or violent social behavior.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders characterizes a psychopath by shallow emotions, lacking empathy, cold heartedness, egocentricity, superficial charm, manipulativeness, irresponsibility, impulsivity, criminality, anti-social behaviors, and lacking guilt. How many of you humans not on drugs have shallow emotions or the translation is that you are not very emotional? How many of you lack empathy for humans that you don’t like? How many of you are coldhearted about humans that you don’t care about? How many of you have some egocentricities which are outside the social norm? How many of you have superficial charm which means that you have little charisma? How many of you are manipulative or try to get what you want from some humans? How many of you are irresponsible and don’t show up on time for appointments? How many of you show impulsivity with your shopping or by telling humans what you really think without caring whether you hurt their feelings? How many of you lack guilt when you hurt the feelings of someone you don’t care about? How many times have you been accused of having antisocial behaviors because you didn’t want to associate yourself with bad or rude humans? How many times have you suffered from criminality?

OK, you are not a criminal so that is one no out of 11 where the answer is no you are not a criminal.  Conclusion, with 10 yes answers there is a probability that you are about 90% a psychopath!!!

The diagnosis for depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia is as bad as that for a psychopath and almost nowhere are the words chronic and acute depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia used to justify the use of drugs with severe side effects which make the relatively mild symptoms in most patients who are prescribed drugs worse in the long duration. Intensive behavior modification and a healthy varied diet of nutritious organic food is the cure for most erroneously diagnosed mental illnesses. There are chronic and acute cases which do need drug treatment but I am referring to the approximately 20% of the population who are misdiagnosed and are hurt and not helped by taking psychotropic drugs.

Historically about one to three percent of the  population suffered from mental illness. In 1960 about 9 percent of the population was classified as mentally ill or three times as many. Today it is about 25 percent or almost 8 times as many as historically existed. It is obvious that something is terribly wrong with the diagnosis procedures and that very many are misdiagnosed and are being treated with psychotropic drugs with bad side effects which are making the situation worse. About 30% of the criminal population is on psychotropic drugs or about one in three criminals is crazy or mentally ill!!!!!!

If your psychiatrist can’t define the words that he is using clearly, especially the words which he uses in the diagnostic conclusion, sue him for malpractice since he doesn’t know what he is talking about and you can sue him for incompetent malpractice!!! Diagnosis is so biased and subjective that if the psychiatrist wants you as a patient he will hook you on drugs and plays the role of God the all knowing with no one daring to question his personal diagnosis.

Most classified mental illnesses are for depression and that is just an indication of how messed up society has become with many feeling depressed, lonely, lost, desperately unhappy, deep in debt, many with substance abuse, and unsatisfied with living an unfulfilling life in the modern deceptive corrupt world.

Most mental patients all need a radical change in lifestyle and better humans to associate with and drug medication only makes their lives more desperate with undesirable side effects which mask their problems and don’t cure them at all. A pill to cure a shitty life is not the answer to the problem but just creates many more drug addicts in society which is costing Americans about 300 billion dollars a year!!!!!!

Dare to say no to your drug pushing psychiatrist!

CONCLUSION:

Start eating healthy, get some moderate exercise, find new friends, move to a farm in the country, get on welfare, learn new skills and get a better job, move in with healthy family or relative members, join an organization with a larger purpose such as a conservation organization like the Sierra Club or even a cult or religion which you can tolerate. In effect, do something very different with your life to get you out of the dysfunctional mental and behavioral rut which you are in and you will go a long way towards curing your “mental” problems which are more frequently wrong behavior problems.

Change your lifestyle as much as you can on your own but don’t go to group therapy to meet humans who probably have more problems than you and get into an addictive habit of taking psychiatric medications for a lifetime of misery and social dysfunctioning.
