HOW THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES STRUGGLE ECONOMICALLY AND HUMAN RIGHTS BARELY EXIST!!!

To compete globally in order of priority you need- water, food, clothing, tools for agriculture & town life, shelter, sanitation, useful education, health services, cheap energy, electronic communication, natural resources, roads and rail or transportation, river or ocean access, climate, relatively just court system and politicians, and an enlightened constitution.

Most advanced countries capable of competing on a global scale have the above priorities in abundance and can plan for and afford a safety net or welfare program for the marginally employed, the destitute and also unemployed, and can push for more gender equality and ethnic or diversity tolerance. Human rights are more probable in an advanced country than in a desperately poor one where the enforcing courts and police forces are a sham and have no real interest in human rights.

When you start at the bottom then you don’t have abundant clean water,

ongoing agriculture does not produce enough reliable food,

basic agricultural tools are expensive,

shelter is marginal,

sanitation in towns and cities is bad,

useful education is very substandard or nonexistent,

modern health services are absent,

there is no cheap energy in the form of gasoline, coal, or hydroelectric power, electronic communication is minimal,

there is a scarcity of developed natural resources or there is a dearth of natural resources,

transportation is primitive,

there is no cheap reliable river or ocean access, especially in landlocked nations,

the climate is either too dry or too wet for economical agriculture,

the court system and politicians are corrupt,

and lip service is given to an enlightened constitution if there is one in the first place.

Basically if you are barely surviving on a daily basis then you don’t have enough money to invest in modern efficient sustainable technology, invest in modern moral technological education, and invest in vital infrastructure which is vital to a prosperous modern country. Ultimately if you don’t have a source of cheap energy in the country then you are doomed economically and will never be able to compete globally and sustainably support a large population.

Conclusion:

If you are a poor landlocked nation invest in birth control, social security which is the reason most poor humans have offspring, and migration out of the country.

If you don’t do this all foreign aid will just go into the hands of the wealthy corrupt few and any attempts at building up the nation will just result in further irreversible degradation of the environment and even worse conditions for most of the humans in the long duration.

The earth is a limited resource and anything other than a decrease in population means a worse worldwide environment. Destroy a healthy environment in an irreversible way and you doom the health and existence of future generations.

Efficient solar energy panels may bring modern civilization and educational opportunities to the remotest parts of the world via satellite transmissions so there is some hope for future educational and financially sustainable development in the not too distant future, especially in primitive cultures or very poor countries.

Any future foreign aid should be solar panels, led lights, and smart cellphones as a start. Whether this donated technology will be distributed justly to the very poor is debatable. Whether the very poor will be able to responsibly maintain this advanced equipment is also debatable.

THE TRUTH ABOUT STATISTICS AND ECONOMIC GROWTH!!!

94264

Statistics is a statement about the possible correlation between two facts and not a statement of causation or that one fact absolutely causes another. The relationship between two facts may vary in degree based on changing circumstances and the correlation may also be a function of time so that one fact may only significantly affect another many years after its impact.

The correlation between debt and economic growth intuitively and statistically seems to be valid. The more a nation is burdened by debt the less real growth it is capable of.

However, there are many other variables which affect growth such as an increase in the efficiency of infrastructure which promotes growth in the long duration.

Investment in useful technological education skills can also promote eventual greater productivity and economic growth in the long duration.

Decrease in taxes frees up more money to be invested in the economy more efficiently in the long duration because automatic decreases can increase the national debt which does not stimulate growth.

Laws which handicap the growth of small businesses which increase the net income of workers and expand GDP reverse economic growth. These same laws which promote the growth of big business reduces employment of workers thus decreasing net income and resulting in a lower GDP.

A growth in the size of government also decreases a growth in the GDP because government workers are not as productive as private business workers and make the economic growth pie smaller since it is a parasite on the economy.

Business cycles also affect economic growth and during times of recession or depression growth is either slowed down considerably or stopped or it is even reversed in a depression.

An increase in the rate of natural resource usage also increases GDP growth since more goods are produced and sold.

Cheaper energy also stimulates economic growth because more goods are produced more cheaply increasing the net amount of goods in circulation.

Free trade can decrease economic growth because of worldwide competition which causes many workers to go on unemployment or welfare and add to the burden of national debt.

Summarizing the 10 most important intuitive causes of national economic growth they are- laws which promote small businesses, less debt, decrease in government size, decrease in taxes, increase in the use of natural resources, cheaper energy, more efficient infrastructure, more useful technological education, business cycle high, and Fed and bank money investment in the economy from a lending high in the business cycle which unfortunately mostly causes inflation if it is not an investment in small businesses.

No amount of statistical data will verify the correlation of all these 10 variables to economic growth because these variables change and depend on the given point in time that you are talking about which is impossible to correlate accurately or statistically. Statistics just give you rather vague ballpark approximations and they are just a little better than smart intuitive thinking in economics which is still largely intuitive art and not a science which it will never be because there are too many impacting variables.

***Realistically it is debatable whether economic growth is desirable in a finite planet with finite natural resources, especially wilderness, and an ever increasing human population which is threatening the very survival of this precious endangered planet. The real emphasis should be on no inflation very efficient sustainable living and not trying to crazily try and grow indefinitely.

The true goal of all nations should be to function more efficiently with more sustainable living, no inflation or a constant value in money, balancing the budget, and conserving and even expanding wilderness throughout the world.

THE TRUTH ABOUT PROFLIGACY+

maxresdefault

Progligacy: n. using very inefficiently and relatively in great quantity a subset(s) suchas natural resources and/or money

Profligacy basically means inefficiently wasting too much money and natural resources on trivial rather unimportant things or wasting too much on things that you want and don’t really need. The United States is a profligate throw away nation and the result is growing irresponsible behavior which causes pollution, environmental damage, and human relationship damage.

We are not careful with our possessions and that includes an increasing difficulty in maintain good human relationships because we don’t value the right kind of relationships but consider them throw away relationships also.

Recycling is only a partial solution to profligacy and we must learn to live sustainable efficient lives. Scarcity naturally encourages thriftiness and efficiency. Where there is abundance and wealth profligacy is often a natural tendency which is hard to reverse unless a crisis situation is reached which puts an end to profligacy.

Great credit card debt and governmental debt is an example of profligacy which eventually threatens to bankrupt many personal and then national finances.

Governments which encourage financial profligacy are doomed to have a massive harvest of irresponsible profligate citizens with most eventually doomed to live a life of poverty and misery.
