THE TRUTH ABOUT ADEQUATE+

download

Adequate: adj. having all the requirements for a subset(s) but to a minimal extent

If you have an adequate salary then you barely have enough to get by and probably can’t afford any luxuries, if you have adequate grades then you are not failing but not doing very well, and if you have an adequate resume then you are barely qualified for the job. The humans on welfare have an adequate standard of living but it is definitely not middle class.

THE TRUTH ABOUT INADEQUACY*

maxresdefault (4)

Inadequacy: n. not having 100% of the requirements essential to an identified subset(s) and not achieving a goal(s)

If you can’t achieve a goal(s) then chances are great that there is some inadequacy which you will have to overcome. You may have inadequate knowledge, skills, experience, social connections, talent, or financial means to achieve your goal(s).

You can overcome your inadequacies in many cases if it is just an absence of knowledge, skills, or experience but in some cases there is no substitute for inborn talent, the right social connections, and the financial means to do it yourself or hire talented, socially connected humans to achieve your goal(s) for you.

THE TRUTH ABOUT REQUIREMENTS+

requirements

Requirement: n. objectively needing an essential subset(s) to achieve a goal(s)

A requirement is something essential needed in a human or a task to achieve a goal(s) successfully. You may have subjective desires such as a tall human with blue eyes or a blue work area but these are usually not considered true requirements to get the job done or a goal(s) achieved.

THE TRUTH ABOUT SCARCITY***

water-scarcity

Scarcity: n. rare and/or too little of what is (needed and/or demanded) and/or required

Fortunately many of us live in material abundance and scarcity doesn’t seem to be a problem for most. The reality is that there is also an abundance of food and drink but a scarcity of truly organic truly nutritious and tasty food and drink but I hope that this will improve in the near future. Non polluted water is also becoming scarce in many parts of the world and water itself is going to become scarce in many arid regions depending on an external or ground water source.

There is a scarcity of truth, common sense or logical thinking and real useful solutions in politics, economics, education, society, language, and the world in general. I am attempting to start to fill this near vacuum or great scarcity in finding smart solutions to the problems of humanity.

Join me in trying to make the truth less scarce in society!!! Read as many of my evergreen truth blogs as possible and enrich your life with more true knowledge.

THE TRUTH ABOUT INCOMPETENCE

Incompetence

Incompetence: n. not having many of the requirements essential to an identified subset(s) and not achieving a goal(s)

We have all been exposed to incompetent humans in politics, in organizations, in professions, and on the job.

Frequently the ones in leadership positions are the least competent because they may have emotional intelligence and can manage other humans to some extent but they frequently don’t have the necessary skill set to make achievable desirable goals and see to it that the right information and qualified humans exist to achieve those goals.

Managerial skills are different than technical skills and a manager trying to lead technically skilled personnel who has little grasp of the logic behind the technology will frequently fail to make good decisions which benefit the organization in the long duration.

Lengthy experience eventually does eliminate incompetence to some extent. That is why employers prefer an experienced worker to an unexperienced one because they know that the probability of an inexperienced worker making more than his or her share of mistakes is rather great and they want to avoid those mistakes as much as possible.

Job mentoring or apprenticeship is not very common in the United States and that is one major reason why new graduates find it hard to get employed straight out of school. The fact that liberal arts is job poor is the major reason why new graduates can’t find work right away.

The sad fact is that the educational system is producing armies of improperly educated incompetent graduates who aren’t prepared for the new technological realities of the 21st century.
