THE TRUTH ABOUT CONDEMN+

richard-jones-quote-we-condemn-this-terrorist-incident-which-has-tragi

Condemn: v. to communicate very intense disapproval and frequently sensing that the human(s) deserve severe punishment

Condemnation is not only communicating intense disapproval but it is frequently sensing or feeling that the human(s) should be punished severely in some manner for the behavior(s).

The court of law can condemn someone and actually imprison them legally if they disobey the law and some humans secretly would like to condemn some humans to a similar fate of ostracism from society for very bad behavior which they condemn but which may not be illegal or very difficult to prove in a court of law.

A terrorist act is almost always condemned by almost all humans.

Afraid: adj. sensing and/or communicating medium intensity fear for a subset(s)

You can be terrified or deathly afraid of snakes, spiders, flying, or some other phobia but if you are merely afraid then you are really expressing medium intensity fear of something and it does not mean that you have extreme fear of something.

I am afraid that you will fail the exam if you don’t study enough or I am afraid to drive at night is proper usage of the word afraid since the fear is not overwhelming.

Affection-is-responsible-for-nine-tenths-of-whatever-solid-and-durable-happiness-there-is-in-out-lives

Affection: n. sensing medium intensity pleasure for a subset(s) one cares about and the behavior(s) which exists with it

When you show affection it is usually sensing a medium intensity pleasure for

A subset(s) that you care about and all the behaviors associated with showing that affection including physical gestures and words used.

Any truly loving relationship in the traditional sense of the word means that there are many affectionate and liking behaviors and emotions which are also being done. Love which realistically is a very intense emotion is not always present all the time in an ongoing “loving” relationship which has some emotional highs but mostly moderate emotions or feelings are felt on a day to day ongoing basis.

Consciousness: n. existing and awake and sensing and/or thinking and dreaming a subset(s) which you then remember when you wake up

One can argue that when you are dreaming and remember the dream when you wake up that you were consciously sensing and/or thinking at that time while theoretically asleep.  Consciousness should really include this exception to the general rule. Unconscious dreaming or sensing goes on also which you don’t remember when awake so this in no way can be considered to be a form of consciousness.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONVINCE+

quotes-eben-pagan-on-convincing

Convince: v. to persuade yourself without coercion using internal and external information and sensing the truth of a subset(s) which frequently is a personal subjective truth and not an objective one

You convince yourself and you try to persuade others so that they can convince themselves that the persuasion was acceptable or valid. You convince others only indirectly through persuasion.

When you convince yourself then you use the knowledge, experiences, or information stored in your brain and try to make sense out of the information being externally inputted to your brain.

Convincing has another very important subset which is that no coercion or physical violence or the threat of violence must be used in the convincing process. If you are being convinced with coercion then this is called brainwashing with force or the threat of force.

THE TRUTH ABOUT DETESTATION*

 detestation

Detestation: n. very intensely sensing displeasure and hatred

Detestation and disgusting mean the same thing or intense dislike in the old dictionary. Either detestation gets excluded from future usage as being redundant or additional meaning must be given it if it is to exist as a unique word with unique meaning. I add hatred to the mix and make a detested or disliked thing also a hated thing.

THE TRUTH ABOUT REPUGNANT*

maxresdefault

Repugnant: adj. sensing medium intensity displeasure

This is my new recommendation for a redefinition of repugnant.

Extremely distasteful or extremely unacceptable are both synonyms for disgusting. Also the standard dictionary definition using these synonyms really means two different concepts which need new words or definitions for them instead. You can ask whether repugnance means extremely distasteful or extremely unacceptable and you end up in an illogical paradox trying to decide between the two.

Also saying that something is distasteful implies that it is unacceptable to you personally and needs no redundancy.

Distasteful defined in the dictionary means causing dislike or disgust so which concept is it?- dislike or disgust? It can’t be both at the same time and distasteful is not a subdued emotion (dislike) one time and an extreme emotion (disgust) at another time because distastefulness is not or should not be time dependent.  Paradoxical reasoning is rampant in dictionary definitions and can only be cured with unique accurate logical definitions instead.

Sometimes distasteful means dislike and at other times it means disgust so when a logical human uses the word distaste who in this real world is smart enough to determine which of the two meanings you are using at any one given time? The word distasteful is causing confusing paradox in the real world and confirms what a stupid word it is.

Distasteful: adj. sensing dislike with one or more senses – is a much better definition for distasteful.

Distastedul: adj. sensing disgust with one or more senses – is the new word which results from a logical analysis of distasteful.

Dissatisfaction

Dissatisfaction: n. sensing a bad and/or wrong sense for a subset(s) (not fulfilling and/or not achieving) a goal(s) and/or not being pleasant for affected human(s) and/or animal(s)

Dissatisfaction is usually an unpleasant sense and often it is felt because we or something else does not fulfill or achieve a goal(s).  As soon as the goal(s) is achieved our dissatisfaction usually ends and a pleasant sense or feeling returns.

Most dissatisfactions are rather temporary or transient but some suchas dissatisfaction with adult offspring or the general bad state of the world can last a lifetime.

You can personally be dissatisfied with your own behavior and/or performance or you can be dissatisfied with someone else’s behavior and/or performance or it can be dissatisfaction with an (activity(s) and/or event(s)) and/or circumstance(s).

THE TRUTH ABOUT ECSTASY*

ecstasy

Ecstasy: n. sensing maximally intense pleasure which may or may not be injurious to the brain

Ecstasy is an extreme brain condition which often is injurious to the brain if extended for too long duration. A human naturally experiencing ecstasy usually finds out that it doesn’t last very long.  Experiencing ecstasy without drugs is the maximum intense pleasure which a human can experience without damaging the brain.

Artificial ecstasy induced by drugs either increases the intensity unnaturally or upsets the chemical balance of the brain and is usually harmful to the brain in the short and especially the long duration.

Primitive tribes and some cults use natural plant chemicals to change the brain functioning of humans. When used in moderation or for special occasions it seems that long duration bad effects don’t exist and that the brain stabilizes itself after each such episode.

Whether an infrequent temporary altered brain chemistry is harmful in the long duration is open to debate because not all chemicals induce ecstasy or exceed it and scientific experiments have rarely been performed on many mind altering drugs to test the long duration bad effects on the brain.

Not all mind altering drugs induce ecstasy but the bad effects of prolonged use of psychiatric drugs which do alter natural brain chemistry is undeniable in the long duration.

THE TRUTH ABOUT ARROGANCE*

image

Arrogance: n. an excessive and frequently offensive (sensing of and behaving with) superiority and/or behaving disrespectfully

There is a fine line between confidence which will get you hired and arrogance which shows excessive superiority over and/or disrespect of humans, especially those working under you, which are characteristics which can get you fired from a position of authority.

The most undesirable characteristics of arrogant humans are that they use put downs and name call, try to blame someone else for their mistakes or shortcomings, disrespectfully interrupt conversations, drop influential names out of context in everyday conversations,  brag much about themselves, and can do 5 more annoying things which you can read about in the following link:

http://www.theladders.com/career-advice/10-ways-tell-confident-arrogant

If a leader has all 10 arrogant characteristics then chances are that he or she is no longer a leader or in a position of authority but some arrogant leaders get away with their arrogance because they only exhibit maybe three to five arrogant characteristics which are sometimes not bad enough to get fired for if they exhibit competent leadership in other ways to compensate for their arrogant drawbacks.

THE TRUTH ABOUT INTERESTEV*

download

Interestev: v. to sense an exciting subset(s) which can maintain attention and/or curiosity frequently because samer subset(s) is (new and/or strange) and/or (pleasant and/or deviant)

Interestev is the potentially new word for in the verb interest which has a definition more accurate and complete than just excite curiosity or attention. The real necessity for its usage is because interest as a noun must be unique without multiple meanings and I have chosen to define interest as a percentage to be added or subtracted from a money quantity(s).

Something interesteving frequently gives us pleasant feelings when we use our senses to interact with that something. Sometimes what is interesteving is new, strange or unusual, and it may be a deviant behavior which we have not been exposed to very much and may have a curiosity to find out more about it.

Humans depending on their past experiences and general exposure to the world will find things interesteving at different points in their lives and usually only once they have been exposed to the interesteving subset(s).

The more utilitarian or the more useful the interesteving subset(s) is in the life of the human the longer it will stay that way and occasionally we may even develop a passionate interesten in it with the passage of time because pleasure may grow into liking or even loving of the interesteving subset(s).

THE TRUTH ABOUT SELFCONSCIOUSNESS+

images

Selfconsciousness: n. being knowledgeable about and sensing one’s own actions and/or thoughts on circumstances

Most adults react habitually and impulsively to most things and any selfconsciousness that they may have has been programmed into their brain by early prior experiences. Being selfconscious about one’s looks and about social interactions is a learned behavior early in life and follows most humans throughout their lives and only changes gradually if at all.

If you are frequently asking yourself if you look good or whether what you said to someone was the right thing then it is your selfconsciousness asserting itself over and over again. You may feel that you need to look good and behave well in public but may have ongoing doubts about whether you looked as good as you could or whether you behaved appropriately.

Humans who really look good and behave well in public are usually confident of their impact and are conscious of their power to please. Confident adults are seldom plagued with selfdoubt and are not captive to the social fears, selfdoubt, and corresponding selfconsciousness which afflicts the common imperfect human.

THE TRUTH ABOUT TASTE+

Taste2

Taste: v. to sense chemical actions in the mouth which are frequently good

We all want our food and drink to taste good and when we come across what we like we say that it is tasty implying that it tastes good to us personally.

Taste can also be conditioned with constant exposure and something which may not taste all that good to begin with may wind up being something which we consume during our lives. Liking very spicy, very sweet, very sour, and very bitter food and drink is unacceptable to most young offspring but a culture can condition its humans to like some extreme tastes with constant exposure. Our tastes adapt to real life circumstances and what adults learn to like taste wise may not be what young offspring naturally prefer.

I personally feel that taste tests should be given to young offspring who have not yet been brainwashed taste wise and know instinctively what tastes good and what doesn’t. Yes, there are individual preferences in all offspring and even adults when it comes to taste and some even have allergies to some foods and don’t eat them for that reason alone.

Tastes evolve from generation to generation and traditional preservation of food for the winter gave rise to taste preferences that were not very healthy for the body by modern standards. Too much salt, nitrates, vinegar, sugar, and other preservatives in canned and glass jar goods historically was what was wrong with food.

Today there is a growing emphasis on fresh or frozen produce free of preservatives which are really unnatural additives to food and should not be there in the first place.

A growing preference for organic food which is minimally processed is an encouraging healthy trend and I hope that it continues to grow in popularity because overly processed overly sweetened food is not healthy for the body in the long duration because it is nutrient poor and lopsided in nutrient balance.

If something is not accurate and right then the conclusion, judgement, inference, hypothesis, opinion, feeling, or belief may seem and actually may be unreasonable.

THE TRUTH ABOUT VICARIOUSNESS+

Vicariousness: n. mentally empathizing with another(s) sensing and/or actions

Have you ever had a vicarious thrill watching someone do something and empathizing with that human’s emotion and/or activity and saying to yourself-“I know what that feels like” or “I have done that very same thing myself and know what it is like when I do it”.

You are in effect reliving someone else’s experience mentally in your own mind. That is what a vicarious experience is.

An empathizing thrill and a vicarious thrill are really one and the same thing so there is some doubt in my mind that vicarious should exist as a word and should be replaced with empathizing instead.

THE TRUTH ABOUT UNCONSCIOUSNESS***

Freud_unconscious_iceberg

Unconsciousness: n. not sensing and not thinking but includes impulsive brain activity which is not sensed and unremembered dreaming

Unsensed brain activity when you are asleep and autonomic nervous system functioning of the heart, kidneys, liver, and stomach while awake can be considered unconsciousness. A dream which you remember or stomach pain and rapid heartbeat awareness can’t be considered to be unconscious behavior.

Impulsive behavior while awake originates in sub conscious impulses but it is usually not considered unconscious behavior since it exists while you are awake and effectively you are conscious of every move that you make or think about.

Some may argue that sub conscious and unconscious brain activity is really one and the same thing because we have no control over it and the brain activity just happens without actual control over it. Sub conscious brain impulses happen while you are awake and unconscious brain impulses basically happen when you are asleep so there is a subtle difference.

Unconscious and sub conscious brain activity plays a very important part in our lives and our impulsive behavior originates from the activity which controls most of the good and bad habits which we have little conscious control over until we decide to change them.

The autonomic nervous system in control of breathing, heartbeat, and digestion does everything unconsciously as far as we are concerned. While we are asleep there is unremembered dreaming going on and other brain activity which is all unconscious activity since we are not directly aware of it. While we are alive there is an unconscious part of the brain which is working and it ceases to work when we die.

Boxers can knock one another out into unconsciousness and brain concussions are frequently cases of sudden unconsciousness which can last a long duration and rarely permanently.

THE TRUTH ABOUT DETECTION***

Keefers_AnimatedFlowers2352-111

Detection: n. sensing the existence of a subset(s) and it can be done with the aid of a sensing machine

Humans use their senses to detect things in the environment but we have invented machines such as colliders which detect sub atomic particles and telescopes which can see stars and galaxies which the human eye can’t. We can detect gravity and electromagnetic waves with the aid of machines so our natural senses have been expanded considerably.

Despite these inventive machines there is still the very very small and the very very distant objects which we just can’t see or detect. Future machines may be invented to detect and sense what currently can’t be detected or sensed but until it happens our knowledge and understanding of the universe and its functioning will be severely limited, especially if we only have mathematics as a tool to rely on.

THE TRUTH ABOUT PLEASURE

pleasure-guilty

Pleasure: n. sensing a sensation which the brain subjectively judges to be good and is what most people desire to experience in various degrees of intensity

Objectively the pleasure which you sense may not be the best thing for you in the long duration such as a drug high which feels good but can devastate your life if you become addicted. Some masochists find pleasure in pain so their brain is dysfunctional and needs rewiring from an objective point of view.

Some hedonists devote their lives to the pursuit of pleasure in all its deviant forms and frequently live to regret their unwise choices. Doing only what feels good is an irrational highly emotional view of life which is devoid of logic and prior human experience about the right way to be living life among other humans.
