Distress: v. to sense intense anxiety and sorrow and suffering

Some humans think that distress is the same thing as anxiety or sorrow or suffering but the truth is that intense anxiety and sorrow and suffering must be all present for true distress to be going on or the word distress has no unique meaning and is just a stupid identical synonym for anxiety or sorrow or suffering.

Sorrow is a subset of grief and is not as intense an emotion as grief. Initial grief frequently becomes sorrow with the passage of time.

Sorrow is frequently sadness with a feeling of loneliness or loss because it is frequently a human or pet who had been very close to you in your life.
