burst-kampagnen

Burst: v. suddenly and violently exploding due to internal pressure and/or puncturing

A bubble bursts easily with a puncture but most bursts are cause by the building up of great internal pressures which lead to an explosion and rupture or shatter the container.

Old water pipes and metal containers sometimes burst due to severe corrosion of the pipe or container which reduces the thickness of the metal or compound.

Plastic containers and pipes can become brittle with old age and frequently also burst.
