Condition: v. to try and frequently to achieve by controlling a subset(s) for a desired goal(s)
A conditioned response was historically popularized with pigeon, rat, dog, and animal behavior in general where food was primarily used to reward the animals and get them to behave with certain conventional and unconventional manners on command.
You can condition behavior, condition thinking, and condition your physical body to be stronger, more flexible, and more agile or coordinated. Conditioning artistic ability such as playing an instrument, dancing, acting, slightly improving memory, etc. can all be done with practicing in the right manner and progressing in skill development.
