A complacent human is one who usually feels secure with no need to improve him or herself or improve circumstances. Complacent companies often lose customers to innovative better products and companies because they are too confident in a business model that has worked for so many years.

Eraser changing the word Uncritical for Critical

Uncritical: adj. not communicating with disapproval for too much deviation from normative standards of perfection and/or absolute standards of perfection for a subset(s)

Uncritical is usually used when someone deserves criticism but none is given. Obviously is someone has not done anything wrong or unusual then being uncritical does not make any sense and is never used inappropriately. Do something wrong or bad which you deserve criticism for and you don’t get any then that human is being uncritical.
