Impractical: adj. doing a subset(s) which can’t be used (to do a useful activity(s) and/or to achieve a useful goal(s))
There are many words which mean almost the same thing as impractical. Something can be trivial, doesn’t work, is useless, a waste of time, purposeless, and something no one wants or needs or in effect impractical.
Practical humans get things done and tend to shy away from useless activity which doesn’t benefit anyone including themselves. We all are guilty of doing impractical things once in a while but the smart human tries to be practical and not impractical most of the time.
