THE TRUTH ABOUT VAGUENESS+

welcome_to_vagueness-wr

Vagueness: n. a communication(s) with doubt(s) and meaninglessness(s) frequently achieved with inaccurate communication and/or knowledgelessness by the giver of the communication

Ever been confused by someone talking to you and not know exactly what they are trying to say? Chances are that they were being too vague in their communication either lacking the knowledge to talk fully about the subject in an understandable way and/or they used inaccurate information to express their intended thoughts on the subject.

Some humans are intentionally vague not wanting to provide you with accurate understandable information. It may be a trade secret which they are trying to hide or merely not wanting you to know some information which they feel should be privileged information and only for them to truly know about.

Obscuring information or trying to conceal it can also make a communication seem vague or extremely uncertain or doubtful and it is another tactic used by humans who are trying to hide something important from you.

THE TRUTH ABOUT PREPONDERANCE OF EVIDENCE*

evidence

Preponderance of evidence or POE: n. a judgment by a jury and/or judge without trial on a dispute in favor of one(s) disputant(s) based on reputable persuasive probable cause evidence from a human(s) rather than from a relatively large quantity of disreputable and/or unpersuasive humans testifying in a (vague and/or confusing) and/or lying manner

Preponderance of evidence is frequently used in civil cases but there is no reason why a preponderance of the evidence could not also be used in an attempt to persuade a jury during a jury trial by claiming to have the preponderance of the evidence on your side. My side is reputable and persuasive with many facts on our side. The other side is filled with disreputable and unpersuasive humans with few facts who have testified in vague, confusing, and seemingly lying manners. Criminal or civil trials should have the same basic foundational principles for justice to prevail in most cases.

THE TRUTH ABOUT CONFUSION

confusion

Confusion: n. caused meaninglessness and/or inability to judge by (large complexity and/or vagueness) and/or (misleading and/or knowledgelessness) and/or (uncertainty and/or newness) and/or irrationality

Frequently we are confused or don’t understand what to do or can’t make a judgment because it is a new situation which we have never dealt with before and don’t feel certain what to do under the circumstances.

We can be confused because a situation is so complex that we don’t understand it and don’t know what to do.

Confusion also exists if we have no knowledge in a field and can’t make a right decision about a situation.

Confusion can exist if something is irrational and doesn’t make logical sense.

Confusion can exist if instructions are too vague and we can’t follow them to a logical conclusion.

Confusion can also result from misleading information with contradictory statements or irrational instructions.

Finally confusion can exist if there is too much uncertainty and we fear making any decision to take action.
