Unsolvable: adj. not logically solved for duration and sometimes only with violence and/or the threat of violence is there a solution
Most unsolvable problems exist because there is no possibility of finding logical connections with the vague badly defined concepts which they are trying to use.
Some problems are unsolvable because there is too much inaccurate, undefined, verbosity surrounding the subject matter and emotional biases and beliefs reign supreme.
Some problems are unsolvable because the foundational beliefs and/or opinions are firmly or dogmatically held and not subject to change by rational discussions or by the introduction of contradictory facts and/or opinions.
Having too many variables in the mix is another reason why some problems are unsolvable.
Some problems are unsolvable because the leadership simply refuses to make the necessary changes until they reach a crisis mode and only then are problems sometimes solved successfully.
Offspring overly aggressive criminal and/or immoral behavior problems which have been neglected for too long are sometimes unsolvable until the threat of violence or actual violence begins to solve the problem. I will beat the shit out of you if I catch you stealing a tenth time again from us or the neighbors. I have caught you lying ten times already and grounding and taking away privileges has not worked. I will beat the shit out of you the 11th time you lie to me! Thank nature that relatively few offspring are that rebellious, overly aggressive physically, or with criminal or immoral intent. Most behavioral problems can be solved without violence if caught in time before a moral transgression becomes a very bad habit impossible to stop peacefully.
In some third world countries some tyrannical political corruption is unsolvable until there is a successful overthrow of the government by violent actions.

There is a major difference between a revolt or revolution and a rebellion. A revolt or revolution is an attempt, sometimes violently, to take over or change the leadership and a rebellion is frequently resistance or disobedience, sometimes violent, to one or more laws which you disagree with.

If enough citizens rebel against or disobey a law then usually those in authority change or eliminate the law unless it is a dictatorship which could then proceed to enforce the law through violent means.

If you are sober and awake and know basic self defense or know how to effectively attack the groin area and eyes then the possibility of getting raped is minimized.
There is also the remote possibility of getting gang raped, especially if you are unconscious. Stay away from male gangs if you fear that possibility and don’t date gang members.

Confrontation: v. reacting to actual and/or potential (conflict and/or challenge) by demonstrating (physical force and/or argumentation ability) and/or evidence with frequently a very intense conviction(s)
The most common form of confrontation is a very intense argument where each side tries to win with their dominant belief, opinion and/or desire. Compromise is seldom considered as an option and it can even erupt into physical violence.
Bar brawls are an example of confrontational arguments leading to physical violence and some protests which start out as relatively peaceful confrontations can degenerate into violence against the police or against opposing demonstrators.
Some confrontations between hostile nations can also lead to violence and if it weren’t for mutually assured nuclear destruction, violent wars or military conflict would be more frequent than it is today.
As long as there are unyielding religious dogmas and unyielding tyrannical governments there will be arguments about ideology and political correctness. Confrontations leading to violence in some form are the inevitable result in this world on into the foreseeable future. Where compromise is impossible confrontation is inevitable.
The classic confrontation is the threat of violence if you don’t give up your wallet in a stickup.
Extortion is also a confrontation which can convince you to behave illegally or give up a possession.
Most confrontations these days are very intense emotional arguments which sometimes escalate into violent action or assault. Abused women and men are frequently examples of violent confrontations.
A difficult situation is one where the husband beats a financially dependent wife with offspring and she fears getting a divorce because of threats to kill her if she does. Divorcing and going on welfare with a cease and desist order is frequently the only escape when the violence becomes truly intolerable or unbearable.
Other severe confrontations are when there is an addict on alcohol, drugs, or gambling and they insist that they don’t have a problem but can function in this world without problems. Unless the addict loses their job, gets involved in a serious accident, or can’t pay the bills there is probably no hope of convincing them that they have a problem which needs action or a solution such as getting off the addiction.
Confrontations where both sides have opposing die hard opinions or beliefs are almost impossible to change and you can get therapists or friends to help you trying to convince someone that they are wrong or behaving badly. If social pressure and a logical approach doesn’t help then unfortunately you may be forced to ignore or avoid the strong opinion or belief and perhaps even avoid the human if they are not your spouse.
CONCLUSION:
If you sense a very intense emotional attachment to an opinion or belief then verbal confrontations are best avoided especially where the subjects may be politics, religion, or sports and they are things which you really can’t change and need not affect your personal relationships if you don’t want them to.
If you can’t turn a confrontation into a calm discussion then empathize with the viewpoint, say that you understand where they are coming from, and express the thought that you have a right to disagree, live and let live.

Violence is a demonstration of the application of force and energy and it is a demonstration of power in action which humans respect and frequently admire or fear.
Violent video games appeal to the predatory nature in many human males and they are sometimes overly blamed for creating aggressive tendencies in offspring and adults.
Violence and fighting has historically been a way to settle disputes between tribes and nations and it is still alive and well in the Middle East and the Ukraine. When reason fails to settle disputes then unfortunately violence is seen as the only way to a swift and speedy resolution. When violence succeeds and it is not met with superior violence or punishing economic sanctions then it is usually just a question of time before it is used again.
A potent ideology, poverty, and a willingness to die for a cause is hard to combat if surrounding humans are sympathetic to your cause. Superior intel and an ability to destroy the leadership at will is the only way to combat virulent expansionism and ultimately achieve a peaceful political settlement.
Domestic and criminal violence is an ongoing continuous struggle from generation to generation because we are all born with violent fighting tendencies which have to be tamed in each generation. Teaching a secular moral code in elementary school to all impressionable young minds is the surest way to exclude most of the violent tendencies from society.

Despite acceptable forms of social aggression there are abusive families and considerable criminal violence which is always a part of society.
There is much verbal aggression which exists and human confrontations which result in combative arguments with each side trying to win with their point of view. Verbal aggression can be pretty nasty with harsh criticism, put downs, ridicule, name calling, and sometimes threats which imply physical harm such as “I will kill you!”
The struggle for dominance is part of animal behavior and human nature also has an abundance of it and ways of expressing it have acceptable social norms. Aggression causes fear and can result in passive compliance or a desire to retaliate immediately or at some point in the future.
Aggressive nations are feared just like aggressive humans but there is frequently the desire to retaliate rather than to passively submit.
Tyrants use aggression to make the ruled passively submit and are also more prone to extend their aggression beyond their borders because successful aggression at home tempts them to practice aggression abroad.
There is no one gene for aggression and we all have the potential for aggressive behavior. Some have a genetic makeup with more aggressive potential than others and are more predisposed to practice aggression in their lives.
Are males frequently more aggressive than females? Yes, because historically males have been stronger physically and dominated society with physical force more than mental force of persuasion. There are some pretty aggressive females in western societies but few choose to lead violent gangs and tyrant nations. Women’s liberation is really an attempt to escape the historical oppression which they have experienced and are continuing to experience under dominant male aggressiveness.

Abuse: v. to behave very badly on a lifeform(s) and frequently with nonlethal violence towards a lifeform(s)
Humans can be abused but so can animals with the use of nonlethal violence and neglect. If you are being abused then chances are rather great that you also came from an abusive family. The logical way out of an abusive relationship is just to end it but unfortunately some are emotionally trapped in fear by being threatened with death and physically punished on a regular basis and chose not to do anything about it until they are actually stabbed or shot and barely escape with their lives.
Many more are psychologically abused with verbal insults, put downs, excessive criticism, name calling, and even threats of physical violence. Your boss, spouse, or an authority figure may be abusing you but there is also self-inflicted abuse in the form of addictive gambling, excessive pornography, drug and alcohol abuse.
If you are an abused spouse then it is largely your fault that you didn’t spend enough time before marriage finding out about an abusive personality which is now victimizing you.
For humans verbal abuse is the most common form but there is also a violent abusive relationship which some choose to tolerate. Offspring can be abused in standard ways but also by merely ignoring or neglecting them and not teaching them proper social behavior norms.
For pets and animals violent abuse exists but another less obvious form is neglect or failure to maintain an animal in sanitary conditions with adequate food and water.
Abuse is frequently learned from abusive family relationships but an aggressive violent tendency has to be controlled by most of us because it is only the thin veneer of proper socialization which prevents us from violently exploding into raging maniacs when we are abused unjustly and want to defend ourselves or fight back at perceived injustice.
Wilderness is being abused by humans and unfortunately there are no animal and plant rights which permit them to fight back against injustice or the stealing and polluting of their real estate!!!!!!
Domesticated plants and animals are also being abused with factory farming, toxic chemicals, and artificial drugs. We are all paying for it with unhealthy food and increasingly unhealthy bodies. They need legal rights against abuse more than humans do!!!!!!

Many parts of the world are competing politically, economically, religiously and the natural consequence is that violent outbreaks are still a fact of life where arms are readily available.
Whether the attack on the twin towers was foreign terrorism or a conspiracy the fact is that it precipitated counter measures which improved airline security, better intelligence or spying on citizens, on legal and illegal aliens, improved intelligence gathering expertise in the Arab world, and ensured for a time that the oil wealth of Iraq would not be used to fund terrorist activities worldwide.
The Israeli Palestine conflict seems never ending but it improves military counter measures against rockets such as the iron dome of protection which Israel has and has worked almost flawlessly. Yes, eventually the Palestinians may start using stealth drones to deliver their explosive payloads and so counter measures will have to be found to exclude such a threat. Yes, some innocent lives and soldier lives are lost in the process but that is the price which sometimes has to be paid for progress and more future security against violent attacks.
After the overthrow of the Russian puppet Ukrainian leader Russia feared that its economic and political dominance in Ukraine could be severely impaired. It used military force to invade the Crimea and started violent countermeasures in Eastern Ukraine. Since Russia supplies Europe with much energy it was emboldened to make a military move and not fear total economic sanctions from the western world.
Its success in supplying Syria with arms and maintaining the Assad regime through violent means may also have emboldened Putin to continue to use violent means as a political tool. This is an awakening call and warning that large scale economic dependence on a tyrant country may imply the use of aggressive force at a later date. That Nato is still a necessary military organization in Europe has been reaffirmed.
All localized military conflict eventually ends and the dominant military force usually continues to rule the area on into the future. Unfortunately much political power is still enforced with the overt use of force in this world and it is just a fact of life which we have to live with.

Revolution: n. forcing change in the government by people usually not in positions of authority
Pure revolution is the violent overthrow of the government and replacing it with new leadership and frequently a new constitution with or without the direct participation of the public.
Revolutions against relatively small tyrannies are still going on but increasingly it is becoming very hard to overthrow an existing government which is heavily armed.
Political power grows out of violent military or police power and is held in place by enforcement which uses physical violence as an ultimate form of enforcement. This is why one of the first priorities of tyrannies is to disarm the law abiding public who senses corrupt tyrannical government and potentially may decide to do something violent about it. The thing which tyrants fear most is morally outraged armed citizens.
Relatively small regional powers may be victims of revolution but large powers such as the United States, Russia, and China are less subject to violent revolutions because of large military and security forces which can use their overwhelming power to suppress violent uprisings relatively easily.

There is strategic terrorism at one extreme and random non-strategic terrorism at the other extreme.
Strategic terrorism can be combated to some extent by hardening security measures at strategic locations but it is impossible to rationally plan against random acts of terror such as serial killings by a deranged gunman or explosions at random locations.
Strategic terrorism can cause the most damage but random terrorism can create even more fear and chaos in the general public who are the primary victims.
Strategic terrorism is organized terrorism frequently conducted by more than one individual. A group or gang is easier to locate and apprehend than individual terrorists who independently chose a target for their random terrorist acts.
A nuclear bomb destroying a communications hub or exploding in space and causing catastrophic communications breakdowns is scary enough but cyber terrorism can potentially take out power grids, steal and/or destroy corporate data, and severely affect military security with hair raising results.
With increasing dependence on electrical power and the internet, western society is very vulnerable to terrorism and the only defense possible is unrelenting national and international spying or espionage on radical groups and nations who can potentially protect terrorist cells.
Traditional cyber security will have to be continuously updated at great cost to counter new potential personal, organization, and national security threats.

Conflict: attempting an action(s) against a lifeform(s) which may result in violence(s) but it is frequently an insoluble argument with different and frequently opposing beliefs and/or opinions
Fewer and fewer conflicts are violent confrontations where one party tries to gain physical dominance over another but there are many communication conflicts with opposing beliefs and/or opinions being expressed and frequently resulting in intense emotional arguments.
Conflicting opinions abound in life because we all have them. It is a wise human who can deal with conflict in a calm rational manner and tries to discuss rather than argue against a different opinion. With strong beliefs the best advice is frequently live and let live. You stay with your strong belief and I will stay with mine! Let’s move on to a different subject but not discuss the contentious one any more.

There are too few unchanging truths today.
Most scientific and technological truths are unchanging but morality should be changed and in a nutshell it should be in non emergency situations don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder. With the exception of emergency situations such as wars and natural disasters, this basic secular morality should also be a new unchanging truth for society to follow.
Torture is barbaric.
This is just a way of saying that torture causes much pain and there are better ways of extracting information from criminals or terrorists these days.
Using force to stop force is not absurd.
Use greater force to stop force is a better way of putting it and it is not an absurd thing to believe in. Children who attack parents physically should be restrained first with greater force and continued compulsive physical aggressions can even be met with a justified forceful spanking. Tyrants who forcefully invade another nation should be met with superior force to stop this unacceptable aggression.
Violence is permissible even desirable occasionally.
Violence in self defense can certainly be justified in many cases.
You are a victim of the rules you live by.
More accurately, you are limited to a lifestyle by the rules that you live by. You are not a victim because no crime has been committed.
You can’t expect people to be something they’re not.
If you expect people to behave contrary to human nature or the way that they were raised, you will be disappointed.
You must be intimate with a token few.
This just means that you should have very few close friends that you can share your most intimate secrets with. The more friends that you share your intimate secrets with, the more likely it will be that your intimacy will be violated at some point in the future.
You owe the world not the other way around.
You owe the world a moral lifestyle and the world should help you in supporting that moral lifestyle.
If you lie down with dogs you’ll rise with fleas.
This just means that if you associate with bad people some or all of those bad behaviors will influence and change you for the worse.
The thief is no danger to the beggar.
This is not always true because the thief can steal what little the beggar has such as clothes.
