Tacit approval or agreement is sometimes demonstrated with a smile or a wink but sometimes even silence is enough to indicate that there is no further resistance or disapproval of a course of action and that a leader and the team may proceed as outlined without further discussion or debate.

A parent may say let’s go to eat out and with no resistance to the suggestion there is tacit approval by everyone that indeed everyone will go out to eat.
