8 STEPS IN ANSWERING CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS

Customers_Complain

Listen carefully and completely to a customer complaint.

Don’t quickly and completely disagree with the customer since this will immediately create an adversarial confrontational response from the customer which will just make existing anger even more intense.

Rephrase the complaint or complaints in your own words so that the customer feels that their complaint has registered or been acknowledged.

You can empathize with the customer by apologizing for the inconvenience to the customer with a simple “sorry” or agree with the customer complaint and maybe even say that you are upset too about the problem before offering a solution.

If you are not sure that there is a solution then ask them what will make the customer happy and they may surprisingly offer a solution to the problem which may be acceptable to you and ensure continued customer loyalty.

Calmly offer a solution to the complaint if there is one or refer them to someone who can answer the complaint, especially one higher up in authority, if you can’t do so yourself for some reason.

In this technological era with much communication done via emails an unresolved customer complaint may be referred to an actual qualified human who can have a personal conversation with the customer and try to resolve it by phone.

Most problems can be resolved with a replacement, a refund, or a discount on the product.

THE BIG SEXUAL MYTH VS THE TRUTH

20-couple-sex-636

MYTH: Sex should be a fun and a frequent activity and as kinky and divergent as possible.

TRUTH:  Most animals in the wild do not have kinky foreplay which lasts longer than a few minutes or they are caught and eaten by predators.  Sex has become a habitual trivial pursuit in society at great cost to the participants in the form of bad health or STD’s and addiction to time wasting porno sites and tragic failed marriages and relationships between the sexes. Reproduction and sex is serious and efficient in wild nature and it should remain as close to its original roots as possible for humans.

The truth is that there should be no unnatural sex toys to play around with but you can do so if you desire because there should be free choice to screw up your sex life if you want to.  Sex is not a game but a serious reproductive enterprise to be done the natural way.  If you want to suck a cock and have deviant fun then be my guest but it is a waste of time and the pleasure gotten is minimal.

If you want to lick the body or suck cock or lick pussy then you may do so but the increase in ecstasy is not there and it can spread unwanted germs to the vagina.  It is a boring repetitive waste of foreplay time.  The foot fetishes and fetishes in general are unnatural and you are realistically not getting any great pleasure out of it.  Are you really getting an orgasm from licking a foot?  I don’t think that you are.  You can use cream on the body and lick it off and you can lubricate your body with exotically smelling oils and do an infinite variety of stupid things during foreplay but will it really give you as much pleasure as an orgasm?  I think not.

So don’t waste your time, energy, and money on inventive sex toys that give you minimal added pleasure.   Don’t use rubber bands and/or anal and vaginal inserts and/or whips and/or prods and/or penile desensitizers and other artificial pleasure enhancers in your youth to excess because it can damage your long duration ability to have long duration pleasurable natural intercourse.  Dildos and massage vibrators can be used in moderation where premature ejaculation is a natural result and deprives a woman of any natural orgasms.

The only kind of foreplay that is really necessary and effective is clitoral stimulation with fingers before actual sex. Most other foreplay is an artistic excursion into trivial embellishments which all are boring and don’t give you the most bang for the buck.

Finally pornography will only give you unrealistic expectations of a sex life where you can seemingly copulate frantically for an eternity without ejaculation and the big cock big tit predominance will just make you feel that you are having an inferior sex life and will potentially give you severe feelings of inadequacy. Exclude pornography as much as possible because it greatly decreases the probability that latter on in life you will have a successful marriage without adultery entering the picture. After you have seen thousands of sexy women engaging in sex in your youth you will have a more difficult time making your future wife feel sexually secure in the marriage because your fantasy sex life will overpower your healthy real life sex life with spouse.

CONCLUSION:

If you want to have natural quality sex and not quantity sex then have sex more frequently and you will enjoy more orgasms. You don’t need to prolong the sexual act artificially with much deviant foreplay because it is basically unnatural and not the way that nature intended it. Nature knows best.

THOSE WHO CONTROL THE MONEY SUPPLY AND ENERGY SOURCES RULE THE WORLD!!!!!!

SaveEnergySaveMoney-267x300

Who is to blame for the sad state of the world and the destruction of biodiversity in the world? Those who control the money supply and energy sources rule the world. Who are they? The big international banks, big international corporations, and the big international energy companies have the most impact and control on the world.

If you don’t like the polluting corrupt state of the world then you can blame it on them and blame it on an absence of an excellent secular updated morality which humans worldwide, especially the politicians, should be following in the technological 21st century.

Without a new updated and useful secular morality the politicians, banks, and corporations can and will continue to LIE TO and DECEIVE the emotional gullible public, accumulate and concentrate the wealth in fewer and fewer hands, and will continue to plunge the world towards an overpopulated and increasingly sick environment trying to maintain the status quo as long as possible.

The new updated moral code which should be taught to impressionable young minds worldwide and followed by human leaders worldwide should be DON’T DESTROY BIODIVERSITY, DON’T LIE, DON’T BE INEFFICIENT, DON’T STEAL, DON’T COMMIT ADULTERY IF MARRIED, and DON’T MURDER!!!!!!

Not only should wilderness biodiversity not be destroyed but food biodiversity should not be destroyed and replaced with monoculture foods which have been unnaturally modified to tolerate herbicides, pesticides, and kill pests with engineered poisons which a plant unnaturally produces itself.

The consequences of misguided GMO engineered plant species will be an unhealthy food supply and an unhealthy human population. Unhealthy breeds of dogs and cats selected for a few desirable traits such as size and beauty result in unhealthy genetic stock and should be a warning to plant engineers who are also only selecting for a handful of “desirable” traits and the usual result is unexpected hundreds of undesirable unhealthy traits which surface in existent and later generations.

An untested change in one or two genes changes thousands of undetected traits in the plant or animal and can become a long duration disaster.

Gross inefficiency in human enterprises and behavior should be considered immoral.

An outdated use of the language overloaded with illogical definitions and too many emotional words impedes logical thinking and communication. It means that humans are ruled by their emotions and little by logical thinking and logical behaving processes. My evergreen book SCIENTIFIC THESAURUS solves this problem with efficient logical definitions and word usage largely free of illogical emotional expression.

More energy or bigger is loved by humans because they are impressed by more power since they think that more or bigger is better and more powerful. The result is inefficient big houses, big cars, too many clothes and an overabundance of artistic trivial behavior which has little to do with efficient survival on the face of this earth.

Small, efficient, reliable, and durable should be valued more as it is in efficient nature.

CONCLUSION:

Money concentration, technology, the internet, standardization of parts, and robotization all means that there will be armies of unemployed on government welfare and the world will be job poor. To maintain or create a just society the welfare system and education system will have to change. My evergreen books CHANGES IN WELFARE LAWS and EDUCATION REFORM cover this needed change in detail.

At least if my secular moral code is followed we will not have unhealthy food, an unhealthy sick and prematurely dying human population. Biodiversity will survive to provide us with a healthy needed future gene pool to save us from our present immoral behavior on the face of this earth.

11 IMPORTANT THINGS WHICH WILL HELP A MARRIAGE TO LAST

traditional_marriage

Be loyal devoted best friends and the relationship will even endure once the sex becomes less frequent or non-existent.

Learn to listen fully to what your spouse is communicating and respond calmly if you are not angry, hungry, or tired. Learn to become a good listener and calm cooperative communicator instead of an angry confrontational opponent.

Try to never lie because honesty, sincerity, and telling the truth creates a trustworthy relationship accompanied by respect and admiration. Even white lies are unnecessary because there are diplomatic ways of communicating objections.

If you don’t like a dress then say that it is nice but that it is not your favorite color combination, pattern, style, or shape. If you don’t like a meal then communicate that it is a little too spicy, salty, or contains a food which is not your favorite. Save your superlative words such as beautiful and wonderful for things which you really like or approve of. Permanent hurt feelings will only exist if you use extreme words such as hate and ugly for things your spouse loves.

Plan ahead and revel in your successes and try to ignore past mistakes and don’t continue to blame a spouse for past mistakes. Learn to forget and forgive if it is not a marriage threatening situation. Find solutions to your problems and act on them or try to do something about your problems. Stop the blame game.

Find, identify, and pursue common goals which may change in priority as the marriage progresses. Working towards common goals with teamwork will strengthen a marriage and not weaken it because you will be sharing an experience which you both consider important.

Be open to adaptation and change. Nothing remains constant in marriage forever and new problems will surface which may need new approaches to solving them. Optimistically confront the new situations and adapt accordingly.

Learn to budget your money so that impulsive profligate spending does not interfere with an otherwise good relationship and become a major source of arguments which will threaten the marriage since bad money management is the number one reason for divorce.

Support or nurture your spouse’s personal passions and primary interests as long as they do not threaten to lead to financial bankruptcy.

Drop relationships with pessimistic untrustworthy friends and humans with dysfunctional marriages. Find new friends who are happily married or are confronting life with optimistic realism.

Don’t be adulterous. Adultery is the second leading cause of divorce so don’t do it. It creates fear of abandonment, distrust, jealousy, hatred, and anger in a relationship which any good relationship should not tolerate.

Finally, the traditional purpose of marriage was to raise successful happy offspring. If you are financially responsible and can afford it then offspring should be high on your priority list. To help you in this endeavor read one or more of my evergreen books LOVEALL, MODERN PARENTING, and GOOD MODERN BEHAVIORS.

4 MAJOR ROADBLOCKS TO FUTURE SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS

Success-is-getting-what-you-want.-Happiness-is-wanting-what-you-get-Dale-Carnegie-Happiness-quote

The 4 major roadblocks to your future success and happiness are your bad impulsive habits, the bad impulsive habits of others, a bad job, and bad money management. Start taking actions today and tomorrow which will start removing these roadblocks.

Most of us have large egos and place the blame for an absence of success or unhappiness on other humans or other things and circumstances. We are quick to criticize other humans and the world for our problems and fail to realize that we are responsible for our own success and happiness to a large extent. Even a bum can be happy in life if he or she has enough to eat and drink and not much more.

Your hopes and dreams may be too unrealistic and you may have to downsize them to consider yourself a happy success. You may also have to exclude the trivial and frequently impulsive bad habits which you have developed over the years and are probably stuck with unless you shock yourself into self-realization and reality and decide to do something constructive about it.

You may be emotionally immature, bad in your relationship skills, and bad at managing your finances. Have all three handicaps and your life is probably a very unhappy and unsuccessful one.

Excessive pessimism, jealousy, anger, fear, doubt, selfishness, pride, criticism, and impulsiveness  may not only make you emotionally and mentally handicapped but will make you dysfunctional in your relationships with others too. I have written blogs on how to reduce your emotional immaturity and be happier but you will find no details in this blog article.

Google or Bing anger, fear, etc. and learn more about them and what can be done to reduce their bad effects in your life. Don’t lie to yourself that there is no room for personal improvement but become more introspective, analytical, or knowledgeable about your own emotional weaknesses and discover ways to exclude their bad effects on you and others.

If you are not honest, sincere, reliable, and truthful with others then you will almost never have trusting relationships with others. You can end relationships with others who are untrustworthy and improve your happiness since you will have less problems created by other bad humans in your life.

If you are stuck in a bad job start preparing for a better one and if you are spending too much money then learn to budget it which is an absent skill in this profligate society.

Here are 6 additional things which you should try not to do if you want to optimize your success and happiness:

DON’T LET THE TRAUMA OF PAST MISTAKES AND A FEAR OF MAKING NEW MISTAKES CONTROL AND DECREASE YOUR CONFIDENCE IN MAKING NEW DECISIONS IN YOUR LIFE AND ACTING ON THEM

Everyone makes mistakes throughout life and the smart ones learn from their mistakes and have the courage to act further and make new mistakes which they can apologize for, learn from, and hopefully make new and better decisions in the future.  Some humans get wiser with age and it is primarily because they have made many mistakes in the past and have learned not to repeat them again in their lives.

DON’T TRY TO BUY HAPPINESS OR IMITATE PROFLIGATE LIFESTYLES

One of the biggest tragedies happen when humans try to find happiness in impulsive shopping or trying to keep up with their neighbors or friends who are profligate spenders going into ever greater debt in their lives. You should be looking for happiness in trying to get a better job or improving the job which you now have.

Living simply with an emphasis on personal improvement, family, close friends, and modest spending habits is the true road to fulfilling happiness if you strongly feel that you are too old to change to a better job. Make the best with what you have now.

STOP BEING LAZY OR PROCRASTINATING

It is very easy to stay with our old impulsive bad habits of doing very little different in our lives and putting off until tomorrow all the little things which could improve your life.  Achieving new worthwhile goals in life require action towards those goals and sitting on your butt too frequently and for too long will delay any progress indefinitely.

Your goal may merely be to eat healthier but if you don’t start by researching and buying better food then the healthy food will never reach your stomach. Important long duration goals must be done in smaller successive steps and if you never start with the first or smaller steps or constantly feel that you are not ready for them then it is a guarantee that you will not reach your long duration goals.

SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME WITH THE WRONG OR BAD HUMANS

Nothing will stop your successful progress and achievement in life more than pessimistic, problem filled, untrustworthy friends. Also the confident optimistic liars or BS artists with their bad addictions such as compulsive shopping, gambling, drug dependencies, etc. will keep you in a dysfunctional rut from which you will not be able to escape. Drop these bad friends as soon as possible and start replacing them with better role models.

TRYING TO SATISFY THE NEEDS AND WANTS OF OTHERS AND SACRIFICING YOUR OWN NEEDS AND WANTS TOO FREQUENTLY

The best human relationships are mutual ones where each human gives and gets something from a relationship and it is a relationship of mutual helping and mutual interdependence and sharing. Loving others too much and not loving yourself enough is a sad form of unrequited love where one party benefits at the expense of the other and it is a master slave relationship.

If you feel that you are becoming someone’s slave and are very unhappy doing so then it is time to change the relationship into a more mutually beneficial one. You can’t always easily change a spouse, offspring, or close friend who is tyrannizing you but if you let things go on as before you will never get true satisfaction and improvement of your own needs and wants.

Have the courage to demand small changes in the relationship which may eventually become big changes in the relationship but recognize that there should be limits to your patience. If nothing seems to work then start making plans to leave the relationship and start a new more fulfilling life on your own or with someone new and better.

DON’T LIVE WITHOUT A SCHEDULE

I want to change my life but I don’t have the time to do it. The answer is start scheduling your life by the clock even when you are away from work and you will be surprised how much free time you can actually find to improve yourself and research new ways of doing so.

There are so many trivial things which you are doing in life which waste your time, energy, and money and you should stop or reduce doing them as soon as possible.

You are probably getting some satisfaction out of a bad habit so one way to reduce it is to spend less time or money on it. If you can go cold turkey on a bad habit and replace it with a better one then this is the best option. Spend less time on a trivial activity or replace it with a better one is how to schedule your time wisely.

Set new or better priorities in your life, put them on your schedule, and start spending more time, energy, and money on them and not on the more trivial activities in your life.

32 QUESTIONS WHICH INCREASE INTIMACY IN A RELATIONSHIP

images

To get more intimate with a human or develop a stronger bond you can ask a human to share their opinions, desires or wants, and goals in life. Other than goals in life you can ask a human to share opinions on job, personality, and lifestyle. Most of these questions will solidify a business relationship but many may also be used to solidify personal relationships.

Questions about job or career:

What would you be doing if you were not at your current job?

What more would you want in your career?

What was your biggest failure in business?

If you were to start a company from scratch, what values would you base it on?

Did you ever want to be something other than your career choice in life?

What do you think you will be doing 5 or 10 years from now?

Questions about personal goals:

If you knew you would die in a year suddenly, how would you change living now if at all?

Who influenced you the most in life and what did they do?

What would you most regret not having done at the end of your life?

What kind of impact do you have on people?

What’s the most important lesson that you learned in life?

If you ruled the world, what would you change on day one?

Who are your three most important people in your life?

Questions about personality:

What is one word which would describe yourself as a child?

What movie or novel character do you most identify with?

What  quality or characteristic of yours would you like humans to least emulate?

What characteristic do you most admire in others?

If you could change one thing about how you were raised as a child, what would that be?

What would you change about yourself if you could?

What superpower would you like to have?

What opinion do your coworkers have of you?

What are you most afraid of and what’s it stopping you from doing?

What kind of humans do you most dislike?

Questions about lifestyle:

What are your favorite pastimes away from work?

How do you recharge?

What one thing would you like to be remembered for?

When are you the happiest?

What personally are you most proud of?

What one memory do you most treasure?

What would a perfect day look like for you?

How do you act when your stressed out?

12 THINGS WHICH AN EMPLOYEE WANTS BESIDES MONEY

o-SURFING-KID-900

To feel pride in a job

When asked what they do for a living, an employee wants to boast rather than feel shame about their job. If the job is a rather thankless job then at least they want to feel that it is valued by the organization.

To be treated justly

Employees hate it when favoritism is shown to humans who kiss butt and do not work hard or well. Most realize that life isn’t always fair but they don’t want the boss to make it even more unfair than it is.

To respect the boss

Employees want to be respected but they also want a boss who can be respected and deserves their loyalty and trust. A boss who is honest and sincere and tries to treat everyone fairly will be respected most of the time.

To be listened to or be acknowledged

Employees want the boss to listen and respond appropriately to employee input and dislike it when a boss acts as if he or she doesn’t care what they think and the feelings they may have about the job.

To have personal time

Some entrepreneurial bosses almost exclusively devote themselves to their job but employees feel uncomfortable when they are asked to sacrifice their time with family and personal interests outside the job which they feel have a large priority in their lives.

To be guided and not micromanaged

Employees want the boss to help with information or guidance when they ask for it but also hope that the boss will help them when they are having problems but may be too afraid to ask. What they don’t want is a boss who monitors their work every step along the way and seem too nosey.

To see bad workers get fired

If there is a disruptive employee, an employee who isn’t doing his or her job, or one who is always causing unnecessary problems for one or more employees then they should get fired or the boss will be thought of as being just as incompetent as the bad employee.

To not always feel stressed out

There are rare occasions when there seems to not be enough time given for a task or job but this should not become a bad habit of the boss. A boss who anticipates problems and sets realistic goals and timelines will not overstress the employee.

To have some security

No reasonable employee expects lifetime employment but no one likes to live under a threat of being fired all the time. They want to feel that their time spent on the job will not be a waste of their time, energy, and effort and that the boss will give them adequate warning if they are going to be fired.

To know where the organization is going

Employees want to be on a winning team and want to know what the long range goals of the organization are. If they are not in the number one organization then at least they want to know if they are making progress towards one or more goals which will bring them closer to the number one position.

To have opportunity for advancement

Not all employees want the added responsibility which comes from job advancement but for those who desire it there should be an opportunity to acquire the new skills and experience necessary for future job advancement.

To have knowledge of how top performance is rewarded

Top performance is usually rewarded with more money but sometimes privileges or perks such as reserved parking, exercise facilities, physical therapy, training classes, business class flying and accommodations, maternity leave, or more vacation time may be a reward which costs money but which does not translate into an increase in salary.

7 HIRING TIPS AND 15 GENERAL INTERVIEW QUESTIONS FOR ENTERPRENEURS OR TOP LEADERS

Consulting-Interview

There is a fundamental difference between a managerial role and a strong technical role which employees have to fill. The ideal combination for a leadership role is a human with strong human skills who also has the most technical skill or knowledge in the industry. Few humans are exceptional leaders and most can be classified as good potential followers.

Another basic principle to keep in mind is to hire someone with personal appeal or charisma and talent who has had previous experience in an almost identical job. Teaching a graduate to lead or perform on the job without prior experience and failure is a very risky approach and can potentially lead to much failure in a real responsible job.

A smart approach to hiring is to hire slowly, ask all the right questions, verify some important answers, fire fast, and trust your intuition.

Hiring slowly means interviewing more than one potential candidate and following up an interview with a second one, especially if there are still important questions to get answers to which arose out of the first interview.

Fire the new employee quickly if they are untrustworthy, don’t work well with others, or turn out not to have the skills which they claimed they had on the resume and during the interview.

Trust your intuition and if you are afraid of discrimination claims don’t hire someone just because they are a friend, of a certain sex, ethnic group, or religion but don’t meet all your objective standards for employment.

The ideal candidate is a talented, confident, trustworthy, dedicated, selfmotivated, fast learner, passionate, energetic, not afraid of change, and wanting growth or more responsibilities in a job.

Before the interview do reference checks and check profiles on Facebook or Linkedin.

The kinds of questions which can be asked during an interview are endless but here are some 15 suggestions for leading questions which you can follow up with more relevant questions which obtain more information about the same general question:

Who or what interested you in wanting to work for the organization?

Why did you leave or want to leave your past or present jobs?

What role or work would you like to ideally perform in the organization now and in five or ten years?

What are your short and long range goals in private life?

What are the competitors to the organization and what are your personal opinions about them?

What were your greatest successes and failures on previous jobs?

What were the best and worst experiences which you had on the job?

What are the types or characteristics of humans which you work best with?

What are your work strengths and weaknesses?

Did you frequently work overtime on your previous job and why?

Out of all your previous jobs which was the most satisfying and why?

Out of all your previous jobs which was the worst and why?

Do you have a very good memory for names and places and experiences?

What are your favorite heroes or heroines or humans who you idolize in private and public life?

What do you like to do in your free time away from work?

7 WISE PRINCIPLES TO USE IN A MORE SUCCESSFUL AND HAPPIER LIFE

slide_275776_2029888_free

Silence is better than arguing, insincere flattery, and random communication.

We should all learn to talk less and listen more. If you can’t calmly discuss something then it is best to remain silent until emotions die down or until you sense that there is a solution to the emotional topic. When you are at a loss for words or can’t say anything nice and sincere about a person’s behavior then it is best to say nothing. Instead of engaging in much random conversation it is best to listen much and respond appropriately in a short and concise manner or to say nothing at all if the conversation is of a very trivial nature.

Be honest, sincere, trustworthy, and reliable and you will be respected and admired and extend that respect and admiration to humans who are also honest, sincere, trustworthy, and reliable.

Being truthful and fulfilling your promises as frequently as possible is a sign that you can be trusted, respected, and even admired. If you can’t trust someone then you don’t have to respect them and if you are the lying deceptive type then don’t expect to be trusted and respected by others.

Don’t spend all your money on material possessions, especially if it means going into great debt to satisfy your material wants.

Living frugally or being thrifty, saving about 10% of your income for a rainy day and retirement, and investing much of your time, energy, and money on family, close friends, and worthwhile causes such as the conservation of biodiversity will reduce your desires to boast about what you have and increase your desire to boast about what you are doing to make the world better for family, friends, humanity, and biodiversity or wildlife.

Learn to accept change and strive for improvement

In a fast changing technological era many traditional jobs are being replaced by computer software and robots. Accept the fact that you will probably lose your job in your lifetime or have to constantly reeducate yourself and train for a more complex job in the future. A liberal arts college education is no longer going to be a guarantee of a good paying job or career.

Think before you act

We are creatures of impulsive behavior and that includes many bad habits. Instead of impulsively buying something ask first do I NEED it or do I just WANT it?  Instead of impulsively buying an expensive brand name product ask yourself can I get the same value with a cheaper generic product? Instead of impulsively buying food ask first is it a healthy food or am I just buying it to satisfy a craving for a taste sensation? Instead of impulsively arguing stay silent and ask yourself is it worth the emotional bad feelings?

Think much more before you act and that means asking yourself whether what you are about to do is the most efficient way of doing it or is there an alternate way of doing it which will save me more time, energy, and money?

Don’t be envious of others

Many humans like to brag about their lifestyles and possessions and if there is a human who seems to be leading a more exciting life than you then he or she is probably paying through the nose and is in great debt financially and his or her happy relationships with other humans will probably not last long. Many modern lifestyles with profligate spending and marginal relationships with other humans is frequently a lifestyle which is not worthy of envy or imitation.

If you are envious and trying to get social approval for your lifestyle from almost everyone then stop it because everyone will never agree with everything which you are doing and it is much more important to try and please the humans close to you such as family and close friends than the general public with its lose morals and bad behavior.

Surround yourself with good humans

Surround yourself with optimistic, honest, sincere, trustworthy friends and your life will be much happier than if you associate with pessimistic, unreliable, and untrustworthy friends. Birds of a feather flock together so don’t flock together with humans who will add misery to your life, especially if you are optimistic, honest, sincere, and trustworthy.

10 POPULAR HEALTH MYTHS DISPROVED BY SCIENCE

120490_v1

Myth: Eating too many calories will make you fat

Your genetic makeup, the type of food which you eat, and how much food you eat are the most important factors in weight gain and how much you eat is only third on the list of priorities which determine how much you will weigh.

About 30% of the population can overeat on a regular basis and will only put on about 5 or 10 pounds of weight and no more. The rest of the population will overeat and put on many more pounds but will stabilize at some weight and gain no more.

If you are programmed genetically to gain more weight as you get older then you will gain weight no matter what you eat unless it is a starvation diet. The unfair fact of life is that most humans gain weight sooner or later on normal healthy diets and it is a fact of life which is not accepted by society at large which is brainwashing humans into thinking that they should conform to a normal weight or be considered bad gluttonous human pigs.

Eating highly processed or refined foods with much sugar content is the second leading cause of obesity because the foods no longer have a natural balance of nutrients and destabilize a healthy metabolism which results in excessive unnatural weight gain. Humans are getting more obese because they are no longer eating a healthy natural balance of food nutrients which comes from a varied diet of natural food intake.

Truth: Your genes and how natural is the food that you eat are much more important factors which determine how much you weigh and will weigh in the future.

Myth: Fatty food makes you fat

Then why are there skinny and “normal” weight humans, about 30% of the population, who eat fatty foods and stay thin? It is your genetic inheritance which programs how fat your body gets and not how much fat you consume. In fact eating fatty foods means that you will feel satiated sooner and not eat as much. Eating anything in excess will make humans gain weight if their metabolism is programmed to gain weight and skinny humans can eat incredible amounts of fat and not get fat at all.

Myth: Carbohydrates make you fat

Great quantities of greatly processed carbohydrates, especially sugar or high fructose corn syrup will mess up your natural metabolism and make you overeat. If you are genetically programmed to gain weight then you will gain more weight than usual because you will be taking in many more calories than what your body needs to maintain a constant weight. If you are of normal weight then the only drawback of eating too much sugar in your diet will be possible diabetes since your natural metabolism will be put out of balance.

Myth: MSG in moderation is harmful

Direct injections of MSG into mice brains can have bad effects but the quantities of MSG found in human food is not unhealthy unless you are allergic to it which is a rarity.

Myth: Gluten free foods are healthier

Unless you have celiacs disease or are allergic to gluten then you can process gluten in your diet without any adverse effects on your health.

Myth: You must poop daily

The frequency of pooping is not important as long as you are not constipated or have watery stool which means that you should change your diet to a more natural one higher in fiber.

Myth: Microwaving kills the nutrients in food

Any nutrient which is killed by an increase in water temperature to boiling or below boiling will occur but the nutrients affected are the same as those killed by boiling food.

Myth: Spot training will help to eliminate fat locally

Any fat which you lose is from the entire body. Trying to lose fat in only one area of the body such as the stomach with sit-ups will not succeed.

Myth: Checking the scale is a good way to monitor your weight loss

After exercise you will lose much more water and almost no fat so a weight loss of one or two pounds is mostly water and not fat since your body uses up its stores of glycogen in the muscles before it starts breaking down fat cells in the body for energy. How you feel is much more important than what you weigh. You will not lose weight by exercising but you will feel much better after doing so.

THE BIGGEST SOCIAL MYTH OR LIE WHICH WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!

skinny-fat

MYTH:   THERE IS A NORMAL WEIGHT FOR HUMANS AND IF YOU ARE NOT NORMAL THEN YOU ARE TOO FAT OR TOO SKINNY AND YOU SHOULD AND CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

TRUTH: MOST HUMANS ARE NORMAL WEIGHT WISE. HUMANS INHERIT A FAT, AVERAGE WEIGHT, OR SKINNY METABOLISM SO THEY ARE FAT, AVERAGE WEIGHT, OR SKINNY AS OFFSPRING AND MANY BECOME FATTER AS THEY AGE. IF YOU TRY TO CHANGE YOUR NATURAL WEIGHT DRAMATICALLY THEN YOU WILL FAIL ABOUT 99% OF THE TIME.

Nature is smart. It stores energy in the form of fat cells for food emergencies when there is no food for a small duration and when there is no food for a long duration which we should call starvation.  In a hunter gatherer historical society those whose body made more fat cells had a greater chance of survival during food shortages and famines.

Also as humans get older their skills as a hunter gatherer start to decrease so many older humans put on more weight as they age. Many women with offspring in their thirties also put on more weight because it is nature’s way of compensating for the fact that offspring will consume some of the food supply and leave less for the mother to eat.

It seems like an unfair cruel joke but in a society with food abundance some humans get more overweight than others and the ideal human accepted by social norms is the human of average or below average weight. If you are overweight then you are automatically considered a gluttonous human pig who eats too much which is not true most of the time.

About 30% of the human population is born genetically lucky and no matter how much they eat or what they eat or drink they will not get overweight. The rest of the population gets overweight no matter how much they eat, excluding a starvation diet, or what they eat or drink.

If you are overweight then at least be a healthy overweight and that means eating healthy or staying away from overly processed or refined food with much sugar such as fructose added. Eat as much certified organic food as close to its natural state as possible and drink more water or milk instead of sweet drinks. Americans especially are addicted to sweet foods and drinks which create a craving for more food and drink all the time. Not only are they eating too much food but eating UNHEALTHY food which is also causing many illnesses such as diabetes, allergies, heart disease, and cancer.

CONCLUSION:

Be happy with the weight that you are at but at least try to make it a healthy overweight by eating a large variety of healthy food. Being a healthy overweight human means that you will not be blaming overweight with causing illnesses such as diabetes, allergies, heart disease, and cancer which are all truthfully caused by eating unhealthy overly processed nutrient deficient foods.

Yes, there are genetically born humans with a greater probability of becoming ill with certain diseases which run in the family but the TYPE of food which you eat also greatly impacts your overall health.

Don’t fear being overweight but do FEAR EATING UNHEALTHY!!!!!!

ALL GMOS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO MODIFY YOUR DNA AND SOME WITH DEADLY RESULTS!!!!!!

download

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT and if you are eating pest resistant GMO corn which kills insects with poison then your body and gut bacteria will adjust and start manufacturing the pest killing toxin also causing irreversible harm to your health. There is now scientific evidence that this is true and this is all the more reason why GMOs should be labeled and many of them tested for long duration effects on humans, especially the ones resistant to pests and herbicides.

80% of processed foods contain GMOs in the United States so you should become concerned if you are not yet. Not all the processed food has GMO plant DNA in it so there is no need to panic with fear but research foods which do contain GMO plant DNA and eat them with caution and in moderation because it will affect your body metabolism and that of your offspring sooner or later.

Here is a link to the proof which you should try to understand for your own future health and well being.

10 THINGS LEADERS SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO

5-Bighorn-1

Here is a link to an article by Steve Tobak in inc.com. There are many more leadership skills which can be included as very desirable and I have written about many of them in my evergreen blogs if leadership is of concern to you.

http://www.inc.com/steve-tobak/10-things-leaders-must-learn-to-do.html

6 WAYS EFFECTIVE LEADERS SHOULD MOTIVATE THEIR FOLLOWERS

Best Fishing Vacations

THEY ARE TRUSTWORTHY AND ETHICAL

Nothing demotivates humans more than a leader who seems to be out for himself at the expense of others and does not give credit to followers who deserve it or unjustly favors certain followers. A leader must be trustworthy and ethical and that basically means that he or she is honest and sincere or doesn’t lie and deceive in interactions with followers because telling the truth is the bond which makes efficient interaction possible and makes successful teamwork a reality.

Understandable concise communication which makes it obvious what a follower is expected to do and demanding accountability for a task with giving needed help and encouragement during the task is vital to maintaining trust.  When organization goals and tasks are not properly communicated and followers are left to drift on their own then this destroys a trusting relationship.

THEY HAVE AN OPTIMISTIC CAN DO PHILOSOPHY AND BEHAVIOR TO MATCH IT WITH PROPER ACTIONS

A good leader is confident in his or her ability and creates confidence in others with a dynamic optimistic attitude backed up with relevant actions. He or she isn’t afraid of change, will take reasonable risks, has a sense of urgency, and continues to inspire followers on a regular basis.

THEY HAVE LEARNED HOW TO DELEGATE AUTHORITY

Good leaders have trained one or more of their followers to take over the responsibility of leading others so that they can take a vacation and not be overly concerned about work not continuing in an efficient manner. Good leaders have one or more trustworthy followers who can take over their job if they are promoted in the organization or if they decide to take some time off from work.

THEY KNOW HOW TO SELFMOTIVATE HUMANS

They know that talented selfmotivated workers are the foundation of a successful organization and invest their time and energy in improving the motivation and performance of their employees.

THEY UNDERSTAND THAT THEY DON’T KNOW EVERYTHING AND CONTROL THEIR EGO

The successful leader does not portray themselves as a know it all commander in chief or leader of yes humans. They listen much to their employees and encourage input before they make a leadership decision which is appropriate to the circumstance.

THEY UNDERSTAND THAT LEADERSHIP REQUIRES IMPROVING RELATIONSHIP SKILLS

They realize that being lead is much different from leading which must give more attention to human relationships. Not only are the leaders needs and aspirations important but the needs and aspirations of employees must also be dealt with. You need to treat introverts slightly different than extroverts and you should also be aware of the good and bad relationships between employees and resolve them if possible.

If there is an employee who is just not communicating effectively with others and is becoming a demotivational force in the organization then the wisest thing to do may be to fire them and replace them with a more socially competent one. Teamwork means that all employees should be pulling in the same direction and benefiting the organization and not being the weak link in the chain of cooperation.

10 THINGS GREAT BOSSES GIVE EMPLOYEES

I-love-my-boss-mug_pan_16147

If the task or job is being done efficiently then give the employees autonomy and independence:

It gives employees satisfaction if they feel that they are doing a job or task right on their own. Don’t micro manage but do make suggestions if you think that efficiency could be improved with a slightly different technique. Giving autonomy and independence to a worker may encourage them to come up with more efficient or creative ways of doing a task or job better.

Keep the employee informed with clear expectations:

Despite having autonomy and independence the employee should be following basic rules of operation and if they are changed then the employee should be informed on a timely basis of the changes in rules. Whenever it is possible state the reasons for the changes in rules and how the employee will be affected by the changes.

Communicate meaningful goals or objectives:

Work is just boring work if the goals are not communicated to give work a purpose. Time limits and productive output quantity and quality can motivate an employee to meet those time and output goals and create satisfaction when they are successfully met.

Communicate a true sense of purpose:

It is motivating to feel like a necessary and useful part of a teamwork effort. Communicate what you want to achieve in your business and what to care about and why you should care about team effort designed to satisfy customers and even the community at large. Clearly state the purpose or goals of the business or organization and the important part which the employee is playing in it or doing.

Encourage suggestions and significant input from employees:

Self-worth will increase if an employee feels that their suggestions and input are important enough to be valued and considered in improving the efficiency of operations. Asking leading questions and probing gently for proposals on new ways to get things done more efficiently is very important and when a new idea is not feasible then some time should be taken to clearly explain why it is not a good enough idea.

Create a real sense of connection with moments of respect and admiration:

Everyone wants to be respected and admired and you can create this feeling in employees if you say a kind word once in a while, quickly discuss family circumstances, or ask if the employee needs help with something. A personal connection is frequently more important than group meetings and formal evaluations and shows that you appreciate the person and not just the worker.

Be reliably consistent and treat employees fairly with similar expectations for similar work being done:

Most employees don’t mind a boss who is strict, demanding, and quick to offer positive and negative feedback as long as the boss is consistent and treats everyone fairly without showing glaring favoritism to an undeserving employee. The more employees are told and understand why a decision was made, the less they will assume unfair treatment or favoritism. Employees will be treated differently because not all of them are as efficient in their job but a good boss will apply the rules consistently and give explanations for slightly different treatment to avoid charges of unfair favoritism.

Give private criticism for imperfect performance:

No employee is perfect and needs constructive criticism once in a while but it should be done in private and not in front of other workers to avoid shame and embarrassment on the part of the criticized employee.

Public praise and appreciation is sometimes helpful:

Your best performing employees will seldom need public praise because they are frequently aware of their excellence but public praise and appreciation may just be the proper motivation to turn an average employee into a better or great performer.

Give hope for a chance at a meaningful future:

Ask your employee what his future job plans are even if it is with another company and not necessarily rising up through the ranks in your company. If you show that you care about and support an employee’s future then they will probably care more about your business.

IT’S A STUPID GOAL TO TRY AND LEGALIZE MARIJUANA

marijuana-image

Legalization means it will be OK to toke up and get into a mentally impaired state and get behind the wheel and drive. It will be OK to go to work and make many mistakes because you are mellow and don’t really care what happens at work. In either case the public loses from the legalization of marijuana and big business makes a killing profit on an addictive or habit forming drug for at least 10% of users who are very adversely affected.

Yes, smoking marijuana is a non violent crime and it should stay that way to avoid unnecessary violence on the road and lousy performance on the job. There are more potent forms of marijuana which can definitely adversely affect your mental and emotional health and mixed with alcohol it really messes up your mind.

Pleasant mind altering drugs are an escape from reality and an attempt to escape all the bad shit that goes on in personal life and in this world. Personal lives and the world will only get shittier and there will be armies of humans wanting to escape it, if just for a couple of hours a day.

If legalized, those on welfare will have a blast getting drunk and getting high on pot and they won’t care if they or their offspring don’t work a day in their lives. Add crack cocaine to the mix and it is almost a guarantee that most will remain stupid, poor, and drugged from generation to generation!!!!!!

THE 12 MOST IMPORTANT BUSINESS ETIQUETTE RULES

(C) Astropole 2009

During an introduction give your full name:

Especially if you have a difficult name then say it and always give your business card so that the person can use it to reference the difficult name if needed. If you will have or are having a lot of contact with customers who should remember your name then you should consider changing your name to a simpler one which is easier to remember than your original hard name.

Always try to stand during an introduction:

Unless you are caught off guard and haven’t prepared then you should always stand if being introduced to avoid being ignored by the human whom you are being introduced to. If you are stuck in a sitting position then at least nod in acknowledgement of the introduction. If you are personally introducing yourself then you should definitely be standing and a firm handshake is appropriate.

Limit the “thank you” during a conversation:

Saying “thank you” more than once or twice during a conversation will make you seem needy and somewhat helpless which is an attitude that you don’t want to convey. Instead of saying “thank you” after each helpful suggestion say “that is a great, useful, or helpful suggestion or point”.

Send timely thank you notes where they apply:

Especially after a job interview, where a decision will be made quickly, it is important that you send an email or text “thank you” notes to all who have been helpful to you and whom you want to acknowledge as being helpful within 24 hours.

Never pull out a chair for someone:

Regardless of gender it is not smart to pull out a chair for someone placing yourself in a servile position and creating an illusion or suggestion that someone is not strong and independent enough to pull out the chair themselves.

Don’t cross your legs:

Crossing of legs implies a casual relaxed approach which you should not convey during an important business conversation.

Sit straight and don’t slouch:

Slouching conveys a casual attitude which you should not display professionally so you should always sit straight and even lean forward slightly on occasion to imply that you are giving them your full attention and that what they are saying is important to you.

Don’t reorder your dishes:

Let the waiter do their job and don’t stack or push plates around on the table after you are finished eating.

Never ask for a to go box:

A doggie bag is OK after family dinners at a restaurant but not after a professional dinner.

Follow your guest’s food options:

If your guest orders an appetizer and/or dessert then you should also. This is to avoid making them feel uncomfortable about being the only one ordering an appetizer and/or dessert.

The host should pay regardless of gender:

The host should pay and if the woman is the host then she can say that the firm is the one paying if the male offers to pay. However, don’t start an argument over who will pay if the male forcefully insists on paying. You can excuse yourself prior to the meal ending and pay for the bill in secret and say that the bill is taken care of to the guest or guests.

Prepare a polite parting line or exit:

If the exit is non-committal then “nice to meet you” or “nice talking to you” is sufficient. If the exit is a further commitment then “see you at the next meeting” or “I will call, text, or email you tomorrow before noon” is an appropriate exit. Being rude or impolite at the end of a meeting is not acceptable.

16 MONEY MANAGEMENT TIPS FOR YOUNG ADULTS WITH A JOB

money-management-students

Save 5 or 10% of your monthly income in a savings account which you don’t touch. It will be very helpful for emergencies or a rainy day when you are between jobs.

Save another 5 or 10% of your monthly income for big surprise expenses such as car repairs, tires, medical and dental expenses.

Ask yourself whether you need a sale item or just want it impulsively. If you just want it impulsively then don’t buy it and if you need it then check an online price for a possible considerable discount if it is 50 dollars or more.

Use a debit card or cash to make your purchases, that way you will not exceed your monthly budget amount from the get-go.

Set aside cash money for a taxi or car service or bring along a designated driver if you go out drinking heavily because you should never be driving home yourself in a severely drunk condition.

If you have commission earnings and not an hourly wage then use a calculator to find out how much you earn per hour and then ask yourself is an impulse buy worth buying based on the hours that you have to work to get it.

Make your own iced coffee in a thermos and make some sandwiches to eat at the job instead of buying coffee and food in fast food places or expensive places like Starbucks.

When you eat something delicious in a restaurant then try to find a recipe online and try to duplicate the meal at home for a fraction of the restaurant price.

Learn how to prepare food at home for dinner, especially from raw natural organic food or ingredients. A healthy varied meal may be the only meal you need to eat all day if you have a sedentary job.

Shop for generic drugs and food with the same basic ingredients as the brand name ones.

If you are going to similar places with friends try to share a ride instead of going there alone to save gas money.

If you want to buy something special then do it at the beginning of the month so you don’t exceed your monthly debit card budget.

If you love certain brands and don’t want to buy generic then go to outlet stores once in a season to purchase them.

Always buy generic cosmetics, toiletries, and small household needs at the dollar store at a fraction of the price of brand name products.

Do most of your entertainment online, especially for music, movies, TV, social media, and dating. Use your smart phone to text and for mobile entertainment.

Don’t be afraid to say no to expensive entertainment, events, trips, or things which will impact your budget negatively. Always talk about and consider the money aspect of everything which you do and make wise choices which is frequently saying no or postponing it to a later date.

24 TRUE IMPACTFUL STATISTICS FOR YOUR MIND

slide_313265_2811486_free

You probably didn’t know that about half of the population of Uganda is under 15 years of age.

If everyone in the world moved to South Africa the population density would still be lower than in Tokyo today. A great migration to big cities could start saving biodiversity.

About 200,000 humans a year die due to medical errors and about 30,000 deaths are caused by firearms including suicides and murder. It proves that doctors kill about 7 times more humans a year than humans killing others with guns. I checked the statistics and about 12,000 are murdered each year with guns.

There are 21 more impactful statistics which may even awe you in this link to cracked.com.

16 TRUTHS ABOUT EDUCATION OR KNOWLEDGE

5-startups-transforming-online-education-4483e6d74d

There are two educations. One should teach us how to make a living and the other how to live.

The sad fact is that public schools are neither teaching us how to make a good living nor are they teaching us how to live a morally successful life. If you apply moral relationship principles on and off a job then you should have optimal success in life.

There are six honest serving men and women. They can teach you all that you need to know. Their names are-Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How.

If you want to educate yourself on any subject imaginable, find answers to these questions and you will be able to discover and learn the useful knowledge yourself.

A man or woman can learn only two ways, one by reading, and the other by association with smarter humans.

Of course you can also learn by trial and error but this is a very stupid and inefficient way to learn. If you try to associate with smart humans then you will learn much useful information from them.

Practice does not always make perfect.

Practice frequently makes an acceptable performance which is not necessarily perfect. It is frequently a fact that much practicing of a skill must occur before mastery is achieved. This applies to game skills, job skills, and knowledge skills.

Perfection is the domain of robots who can repeat something perfectly every time.  People may try to be perfectionists but very many are not perfect and make many mistakes along the way. Practice does not always make perfect.

Repetition is the best way to learn

This of course is not true if you almost have a photographic memory.

Everyone makes mistakes.

This is true all the time since humans are imperfect creatures and not robots.  What makes for a difference between something good and bad is how many mistakes are made in doing something.  The more mistakes that you make, the worse is your performance at some task.

If you don’t control your mind, someone else will.

This is true in most cases. If you don’t have strong personal beliefs or personal ways of looking at and thinking about events, opinions, facts, and people, you will meet plenty of people who are trying to impose their beliefs and propaganda on you.  Businesses through advertising are always thinking up ways of getting you to buy their product or service. Media commentators and writers would like nothing better than to convince you that their viewpoints are the correct ones to have. Almost everyone would like you to believe what they believe in.

A little general knowledge can go a long way

A little knowledge, especially if it is a true general principle, can be applied over and over again in many areas of life. Be friendly towards people and it will increase the likelihood that they will be friendly towards you.  This is a little knowledge that can go a long way towards improving your relationships with other people throughout a lifetime. Treat others the way that you would wish to be treated is also a little knowledge that is useful throughout a lifetime.

Abstraction is a type of decadence

To the extent that abstraction departs from reality and nature, that is the extent to which it can be considered to be decadent. Nowhere is this more evident than in abstract painting where all natural beauty and reason is absent and all that is left is a gross mutant product or creativity running into a dead end.

Even the best writer has to erase

This just means that even perfectionists make some mistakes.

Experience is the best teacher.

Doing something yourself or physically is frequently a better teacher than learning how to do it in your head. The truth is that the mind and body have to be coordinated to get the best learning results. Learning only through experience can sometimes be a long and arduous process since there might be too much trial and error learning going on. Experience learning can frequently be speeded up and improved with some book or internet learning too.

A little learning can be a dangerous thing.

It is dangerous only if you assume that by acquiring a little knowledge about something you automatically assume that you know all there is about that something. Knowing how to use the accelerator and brakes does not automatically mean that you are a good driver and if you assume that you are, it can be very dangerous.

Elaboration is a form of pollution

Elaboration is an embellishment of the facts which frequently results in rather boring and time consuming rhetoric which can indeed be considered a form of pollution which wastes time, energy, and sometimes money.

Knowledge is power if it has purpose.

Knowledge in the right fields can be powerful and land you a good job. Knowledge in fields such as the arts, philosophy, history and the humanities may leave you with bad job skills that are useful almost nowhere and this can’t be considered to be powerful knowledge.

Knowing yourself lets you understand others to some extent.

This is true because knowing your strengths and weaknesses will help you to identify those same strengths and weaknesses in others. It will not be a complete understanding of others but at least it is a start.

Some knowledge should be advanced at all costs

Scientific knowledge should be advanced at all costs but liberal arts education is so subjective and peppered with so much false and very subjective opinions that most of it is not worth advancing.  Liberal arts education should be promoted by private institutions of learning and not the government. Secular morality should be advanced at all costs and in a nutshell that means in non-emergency situations don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.

6 TRUTHS ABOUT FRIENDSHIP

friendship

Misfortune tests the sincerity of friends.

When you need friends to make your misfortune more bearable with mental or financial help, this can become a time when the advantages of true friendship are tested.  If your misfortune is great enough you may lose supposed good friends in droves and you will truly have to reassess who your true friends really are.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.

If you still have a friend after a disaster in life, you can call them a true friend.

To have a friend, be a friend.

This just states that friendship is a two way street. Being friendly also causes others to want to be friendly in many instances.

Be gracious to all humans, but choose the best to be your friends.

Bad friends or too many friends can waste your time, energy, and money so be selective and choose the ones that want to improve themselves and can help to support you, at least emotionally, in your goal to make a better life for yourself.

A friend not only supports who you are, but brings out the best in you.

A true friend not only gives you moral support but encourages you to be the best that you can be and sincerely wants your life to improve.

If your friend gossips about others, she gossips about you too.

A gossiping friend is not interested in the truth about humans and will not make a trustworthy friend. If you have secrets which you don’t want to become public knowledge then drop the gossiping friend.

6 MOTIVATIONAL WORDS BEGINNING WITH THE LETTERS T AND V

Time-to-Succeed1

TEAMWORK

The ability to use teamwork to achieve a goal(s) is increasingly more important in an interdependent world than the ability to succeed with rugged individualism only.  Businesses and other organizations can succeed with good teamwork and can fail miserably without it.

THINK

Thinking about a goal(s) which haven’t been achieved yet will sometimes change some of the means toward achieving the goal(s) and thus make the achievement of the goal(s) easier and/or more probable.

TIME

Most goals are achieved by using time, energy, and money.  You have a lifetime to achieve your goals unless you form a foundation to continue to fulfill your desires and/or goals after you die.

VALUES

The goals which you value and how you value those goals will shape your lifestyle into a relatively unique set of priorities and/or goals which could be called a lifestyle.

VARIETY

A belief in variety not only acknowledges that there is usually more than one means of achieving a goal(s) but that there should be more than one goal in life and that biodiversity is essential to the long duration survival of humanity.  Maintaining variety among humans protects against the dangers of inbreeding health dangers and claims of ethnic superiority.

VISION

Someone with vision not only can predict the future to some extent but can also set goal(s) which have a relatively great degree of probability of  achievement at some point in the future.

Only a starvation diet will make you lose weight and who realistically wants to starve themselves on a permanent basis? All weight loss programs without starving don’t work permanently so why be disappointed every time and waste much of your time trying to do the impossible current weight loss fad.

For all the lazy exercisers walking fast about 20 minutes about three times a week is all that you need. This is a rather boring routine so you can make your exercise sessions more interesting by doing an assortment of natural body movements which stretch your body or even give you a cardiovascular workout.

For a cario workout try jumping jacks and make them more interesting by leaping high as you do them or by flexing your knees or body torso as you are doing them. Running in place or jumping as high as you can is an excellent workout which you can do in the house, especially when it is raining or terribly hot or cold outdoors.

Pushups, rotating arms, deep knee bends, stomach curls, squat thrusts, toe touching while standing,  standing on one leg, head nodding, and stepping up and down on a stool will exercise your arms, legs, stomach, and neck.

If you want to ritualize the exercise then try yoga positions and Pilate’s moves.

If you are a senior citizen, can barely stand, and have joint stiffness then repetitively flex your arms, legs, neck, and body from a sitting or lying down position.

CONCLUSION:

Save a boatload of time and money by not going to a gym but doing exercise in and around the home. Tone your body with natural body movements and you will be healthier for it. You will not lose any weight exercising but you will be healthier at the weight which you are currently at.

Remember, no exercise will make you lose weight but exercising will improve your mental and physical health and that is really the realistic benefit which you should be looking for in your life of good habits to do.

PSYCHIATRY IS A DRUG PUSHING PROFESSION WHICH MISDIAGNOSES MENTAL ILLNESS WITH STUPID INCOMPLETE QUESTIONS!!!

 unisex-white-patient-straight-jacket-by-asylum-s-m-or-l-8fa7

A psychopath is a person suffering from chronic mental disorder with very abnormal and/or violent social behavior.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders characterizes a psychopath by shallow emotions, lacking empathy, cold heartedness, egocentricity, superficial charm, manipulativeness, irresponsibility, impulsivity, criminality, anti-social behaviors, and lacking guilt. How many of you humans not on drugs have shallow emotions or the translation is that you are not very emotional? How many of you lack empathy for humans that you don’t like? How many of you are coldhearted about humans that you don’t care about? How many of you have some egocentricities which are outside the social norm? How many of you have superficial charm which means that you have little charisma? How many of you are manipulative or try to get what you want from some humans? How many of you are irresponsible and don’t show up on time for appointments? How many of you show impulsivity with your shopping or by telling humans what you really think without caring whether you hurt their feelings? How many of you lack guilt when you hurt the feelings of someone you don’t care about? How many times have you been accused of having antisocial behaviors because you didn’t want to associate yourself with bad or rude humans? How many times have you suffered from criminality?

OK, you are not a criminal so that is one no out of 11 where the answer is no you are not a criminal.  Conclusion, with 10 yes answers there is a probability that you are about 90% a psychopath!!!

The diagnosis for depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia is as bad as that for a psychopath and almost nowhere are the words chronic and acute depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia used to justify the use of drugs with severe side effects which make the relatively mild symptoms in most patients who are prescribed drugs worse in the long duration. Intensive behavior modification and a healthy varied diet of nutritious organic food is the cure for most erroneously diagnosed mental illnesses. There are chronic and acute cases which do need drug treatment but I am referring to the approximately 20% of the population who are misdiagnosed and are hurt and not helped by taking psychotropic drugs.

Historically about one to three percent of the  population suffered from mental illness. In 1960 about 9 percent of the population was classified as mentally ill or three times as many. Today it is about 25 percent or almost 8 times as many as historically existed. It is obvious that something is terribly wrong with the diagnosis procedures and that very many are misdiagnosed and are being treated with psychotropic drugs with bad side effects which are making the situation worse. About 30% of the criminal population is on psychotropic drugs or about one in three criminals is crazy or mentally ill!!!!!!

If your psychiatrist can’t define the words that he is using clearly, especially the words which he uses in the diagnostic conclusion, sue him for malpractice since he doesn’t know what he is talking about and you can sue him for incompetent malpractice!!! Diagnosis is so biased and subjective that if the psychiatrist wants you as a patient he will hook you on drugs and plays the role of God the all knowing with no one daring to question his personal diagnosis.

Most classified mental illnesses are for depression and that is just an indication of how messed up society has become with many feeling depressed, lonely, lost, desperately unhappy, deep in debt, many with substance abuse, and unsatisfied with living an unfulfilling life in the modern deceptive corrupt world.

Most mental patients all need a radical change in lifestyle and better humans to associate with and drug medication only makes their lives more desperate with undesirable side effects which mask their problems and don’t cure them at all. A pill to cure a shitty life is not the answer to the problem but just creates many more drug addicts in society which is costing Americans about 300 billion dollars a year!!!!!!

Dare to say no to your drug pushing psychiatrist!

CONCLUSION:

Start eating healthy, get some moderate exercise, find new friends, move to a farm in the country, get on welfare, learn new skills and get a better job, move in with healthy family or relative members, join an organization with a larger purpose such as a conservation organization like the Sierra Club or even a cult or religion which you can tolerate. In effect, do something very different with your life to get you out of the dysfunctional mental and behavioral rut which you are in and you will go a long way towards curing your “mental” problems which are more frequently wrong behavior problems.

Change your lifestyle as much as you can on your own but don’t go to group therapy to meet humans who probably have more problems than you and get into an addictive habit of taking psychiatric medications for a lifetime of misery and social dysfunctioning.

14 THINGS WHICH INSPIRING LEADERS DO AND SHOULD NOT BE OMITTED

Leader

They hire the best and brightest:

Great leaders overcome their fear of possibly losing their job to someone more talented and hire the best employee for the job and take their time doing so. Nothing is worse than hiring someone in an emergency situation speedily and finding out that the human has inadequate skills for the job or has a flawed personality and can’t work well with others.

They have an excellent knowledge of the goals of the organization and the goals of the group and can motivate the employees towards those goals:

Employees have a difficult time staying motivated if the purpose or goals of the group are not known or are ever changing and confusing. One way to insure unity of purpose and action is to have well defined goals to work towards and organizational rules which are advertised and followed. A good leader should be able to provide this focused direction for all employees. An organization without goals is a ship without a rudder which won’t get you to where you want to be or should be.

They interact with team members and know what information and skills are necessary for their goal achievement:

Great leaders don’t micro manage an employee but know in general what information and what skills are necessary for their employees to reach their goals. They don’t tell their employees how to achieve their goals but know how to give support so that they have all the necessary tools to do the job and can monitor the progress of the employees as they are reaching their goals.

They keep the plans or goals visible:

Great leaders don’t hide the goals in case they may have to change them towards other goals along the way. They remind employees of the goals and if changes are necessary then they make sure that all team members know of the necessary changes when and if they are necessary. They don’t keep team members working in the dark.

They keep team members accountable for their share of the work:

If a team member does not succeed in reaching his or her goals then they are held accountable and are graded on a number scale of one to 10. If they have three or more serious failures in a row then they should be demoted, denied privileges, or even fired or replaced by someone else. Leaders should monitor progress or or its absence and reward or punish accordingly with praise or criticism and corresponding actions.

They recognize progress or doing something right and make it immediately known to the employee to further selfmotivate them to do well in the future:

Punishing an employee immediately after one failure can be demoralizing and threaten the feeling of selfworth which the employee should maintain on the job. On the other hand any success should be immediately recognized and rewarded with praise and further encouragement.

They try to remove barriers which impede work flow:

If there is information or skills which an employee may need to proceed successfully with the work to achieve the goals then the leader will try to provide the source for the information or get someone with the necessary skills to permit the work to proceed smoothly. Sometimes setting aside time for retraining for a new necessary skill is the preferred choice of action. Removing barriers and not creating barriers to work progress is the proper role of a good leader.

They address minor performance issues and don’t let them grow into larger potentially more difficult problems to solve:

Proactive coaching or identifying and addressing small problems and trying to prevent larger problems should be done by the leader as he monitors the progress of the employee. Paying attention to and solving smaller problems may prevent them from growing into difficult ones to solve.

They listen more than they talk:

Efficient or short and to the point communications convey a feeling of confidence and preciseness which can easily get lost in a barrage of words. All the points addressed by the employee should be noted and then responded to clearly and concisely which means that a leader will do much more listening than talking. The good leader should be an efficient communicating man or woman of action and not one who leads with confusing verbosity.

They use team values or rules to make big or small decisions and address problems:

A good leader does not use vague business practices to address problems but follows the rules of the organization to make big or small decisions which helps employees focus on important vital organization values.

They get to know the employee personally to some extent so that a better understanding exists on how to motivate the employee to do better:

Extrovert or introvert personality types require somewhat different motivating approaches and extrovert types could be assigned more contact with customers. Getting to know an employee better will reveal what subtle motivational differences may be needed to get maximum performance out of them. Employees should not be viewed as dehumanized interchangeable parts in a business machine.

They care about their employees and not just about their performance on the job:

Good leaders nurture and protect their employees by getting to know their families to some extent and getting to know their goals in life so that they can be helped in their voyage through life and especially the business world. An employee who feels that a leader cares about his long range goals in life and tries to support that effort will be much more committed to the relationship and job.

They know how to keep a balance between organization goals and profits:

The bottom line or profits should not be the only things stressed in motivational talks but also the goals of the organization which may simply be happy and supportive customers.

They maintain communications even when there is no good news:

Communication should not end when there is a slowdown in work load or if some bad news surfaces and should be addressed and not ignored.

5 TYPES OF WOMEN SMART MEN SHOULD AVOID WHEN DATING

bad-men

Here is a link to singledatingdiva.com which has some good advice for smart men and even smart women who usually avoid 5 major unpleasant personality flaws in the opposite sex.

I would also like to add that most smart men try to avoid pessimistic women or women with mental problems such as depression. Men usually do not feel sorry for a woman going through tough personal times and don’t usually feel like nurturing and sympathizing with a complaining pessimistic woman. Very emotional or emotionally unstable women are also usually ones that smart men tend to avoid.

6 FOOD DECEPTIONS OR HIDDEN LIES

1362-4

You probably didn’t know that cellulose or wood is added to or used as a non- nutritional filler in some foods for texture and it costs about 30% of the cost of real flour.

Burger meat is frequently treated with ammonia gas to kill germs.

100% orange juice, not from concentrate, is frequently kept bottled for as long as a year and has flavor packets added to flavor what is a rather tasteless orange juice product naturally.

Artificial blueberries are added to some yogurts and cereals.

Free range chickens are actually being grown in huge warehouses.

Some companies have bogus claims for health benefits such as heart, coronary, and cardiovascular health without any scientific backing. Foods claim to support immunity whatever that is supposed to mean and once again with no scientific proof.

CONCLUSION:

Words can be misleading and a word such as NATURAL may still mean that artificial ingredients were added and that pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, antibiotics, or GMOs and other unnatural techniques or chemicals were used to grow the food. Your only guarantee for some certainty in natural quality is to buy certified organic food. Download a list of certified organic foods from nongmoshoppingguide.com.

5 ANNOYANCES TECHNOLOGY MAY NOT SOON IMPROVE

136853078516158773-internet-concept-or-background-to-illustrate-the-world-of-information-technology-and-its-gadget-to-a

BATTERIES:

Battery storage is a problem because you can only get so much chemical energy stored per unit volume in a battery and portable devices are using much electricity to produce the video and sound effects available on the devices. The result is that we are constantly recharging the devices and it is a pain in the butt which will plague us on into the foreseeable future.

DATA STORAGE:

The cloud offers the potential to store unlimited data which is accessible from anywhere but the network is still unreliable with things like data caps, corporate IT policies, and leet hackers. Until network accessibility becomes more reliable we need to continue using flash drives and DVD’s as data backups unless you use an online file backup company. A master’s thesis lost in the cloud is a very frightening reality.

VOICE RECOGNITION:

Using unlimited vocabulary voice recognition programs are just about 80% accurate with little hope of getting any better unless words are taken and used from an allowed list of words which limits the freedom of expression. Words which sound the same but with completely different meanings used in complicated contexts seems to be the unsolvable problem which makes reliable voice recognition software impossible for now.

CONTENT PIRACY:

In an effort to prevent piracy content is frequently restricted to relatively few hardware devices. The rules for content usage vary from country to country so you no longer have the freedom of moving content to any device which you chose or sending it to any country which you chose.

PRINTERS:

Printers have many mechanical parts which frequently malfunction and use up ink voraciously. Until paper is replaced with some better alternative we are unfortunately handicapped with printer drawbacks.

5 IMPORTANT GOOD HABITS TO REPLACE BAD OLD ONES

5-good-habits

Schedule your time:

Most humans waste much time, energy, and money by talking too much or socializing too much, by doing trivial relatively unimportant things in their life, and by spending too much time on bad habits which can be improved. One of the most important things which you can do is to prioritize your life and schedule your time away from work so that you have enough time devoted to the things which you think are most important in your life.

Setting a specific time for doing activities is important so the scheduled routine becomes as automatic as possible or becomes a good habit. 8:30 PM put the young offspring to bed by making them put away toys, showering, and dressing for bedtime. 9:00 PM reeducating yourself by learning new knowledge and skills necessary for a better job. 10:00 PM discuss or do things with significant other. 10:30 relax with entertainment. 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM sleep.

Life is not always predictable and your schedule will be interfered with occasionally and you can adjust the times to fit your desired lifestyle but do try to maintain a regular schedule as frequently as possible and you will be establishing good habits to replace the bad ones.

Budget your money:

If you are impulsively spending and living from paycheck to paycheck and never have enough money for emergencies such as car repairs, appliance breakdowns, household repairs, or medical expenses then you should seriously consider budgeting your money. Budgeting your money means planning to spend money on things which you really NEED and not on things which you impulsively WANT. It also means setting up separate savings accounts for future education, retirement, and emergencies.

My evergreen book HOW TO SAVE MONEY can help you with budgeting and money management in general.

Learn to eat healthy:

Nothing is better for your health than eating healthy food. You should gradually switch to eating minimally processed unsweetened varied certified organic food as frequently as possible. No one can automatically switch from fast food and sweet deserts and treats but at least don’t eat them as frequently any more. Consider artificially sweetened or food with sugar added to be eaten as a treat only once or twice a week.

Snack on nuts and fruits and bring healthy sandwiches to work if you eat more than once a day which is not necessary for most sedentary jobs. Experiment with your food and don’t be afraid that you will poison yourself if you try to eat something new, especially if it is a new natural organic fruit, vegetable, nut, or grain.

Eating good healthy nutritious food instead of a habit of eating unhealthy overly processed food is going to be the hardest bad habit to break so do it gradually by scheduling to eat healthy once a week and gradually increase it to eating healthy at least 4 times a week.

Exercise occasionally:

You don’t have to exercise every day and 20 minutes about twice or three times a week is all that you need. You can even go for weeks and months not exercising at all because many of us get enough exercise doing housework and taking care of the offspring. If your job is very stressful then a regular daily exercise routine may help a little in reducing the stress.

Improve your relationship skills:

Learn to be more honest, sincere, and truthful with other humans and you will develop good trustworthy relationships with family, close friends, and acquaintances. Learn how to sincerely care for humans without becoming overly generous with your time, energy, and money.

My evergreen books LOVEALL, MODERN PARENTING, and GOOD MODERN BEHAVIORS can help you to learn what caring or nurturing and protecting means in real life and you will become more respected and admired by the humans which you interact with, especially your family.

CONCLUSION:

Most of us lead very inefficient lives wasting much time, energy, and money which could be better spent elsewhere. Scheduling time for budgeting, healthy eating, exercise, relationships, and important priorities in your life such as education and making them good habits or things which you do on a regular basis will help greatly.

It takes about 3 months before a new habit becomes an automatic good habit so don’t get disappointed if you are not getting instant good results with the new schedule which you are working on. Be persistent and remain as selfmotivated as possible and get other humans, especially your significant other, to encourage you in your new lifestyle changes. Dare to succeed!!!!!!

4 REASONS YOUR BRAIN AND BODY WANTS TO STAY WITH BAD HABITS

4992686179_9c48ec5d5d_z

Your impulsive unconscious self frequently overrules your conscious future projection of self:

You may consciously know that you have to study to get a good grade tomorrow but you stay up later than usual watching a good movie first before starting to study. You know that you should eat healthier but if presented with chocolate or a favorite sugary treat then you will probably eat it without a second thought. Immediate impulsive actions which are bad habits frequently overrule any good habits which you are consciously planning to switch to in the future. Procrastination is also impulsive bad habits which most of us constantly struggle with and delay good conscious behavior.

Many neophyte bloggers without a previous history of disciplined writing start off with a handful of articles and that is as far as most of them get. All their great blogging plans fail and they revert back to their impulsive selves.

A bad habit can take as long as 10 weeks of conscious effort to stop:

A bad habit is an addiction which your body prefers because it is the most efficient way to deal with life which is in automatic mode. It can take as long as three months of conscious effort to replace an inactive lifestyle with an exercise routine each day or every other day. So many humans have tried joining a gym or a health club filled with initial ambition and good thoughts and much before the three months are up have reverted back to their inactive former selves and don’t attend.

A body with automatic motions and/or inactivity tends to stay in old automatic motions and/or inactivities.

Willpower frequently is a limited resource:

It has been scientifically shown that willpower decreases with each application. This basically says that staying motivated for repetitive tasks becomes more difficult the more of the tasks that we do.  Willing your body to do something is forcing it to do something which is something your body does not like to prolong. Forcing or willing yourself to do a new behavior on your own is more difficult than having a personal trainer or coach motivating you to do a new behavior.

Other humans who motivate and other humans who participate in behavior modification with you can produce better results than you trying to modify your behavior on your own without external motivators.

Selfindulgence rather than selfimprovement is what your body subconsciously wants and it can even be failure that your mind wants:

If you have a bad habit of failing much your body and mind adjusts to the failure and effectively tries to stop trying to improve. You may make up excuses for your failure or start to accept it as a fact of life and not motivate yourself towards any future improvement.

Staying unemployed or not making advances toward the opposite sex because of a fear of failure or a subconscious feeling of imminent failure is what keeps many humans from improving themselves consciously.  Your body has a tendency to accept things as they are rather than fight for the way things ought to be in your idealized mind and body.

CONCLUSION:

Your body is subconsciously addicted to and loves your bad habits and will hold on to them tenaciously. Only a fear of imminent death is sometimes what will motivate you long enough to quit very bad addictive habits such as smoking, drug use, alcohol, and severe obesity.

Changing bad habits on your own is almost infinitely more difficult than finding some continuing motivational support from another human or humans.
