You will have much opportunity for advancement.
Your bonus structure will greatly supplement your income.
If you are a salesman your territory will be protected and won’t change.
You’ll get extensive training as necessary.
You’ll have scheduling flexibility so you can work from home sometimes.
You’ll get assistants to help you if your work load becomes too burdensome.
You’ll get more exciting or better work once you fix the problem that exists in the department or once you complete a specified project.
You will be working with supportive members.
You will have a competent manager or boss.
The truth is that –
Not all jobs have room for advancement unless the boss dies, changes jobs, or gets promoted.
Bonuses and salary increases may be paltry at most.
If you are a sales human with designated territory then it may be broken up into smaller territories.
Extensive training is costly and you may be denied it due to budget cuts or lack of free time.
You may never be able to work from home due to security reasons or job rules.
Instead of getting assistants to lighten your workload, it will just grow larger and more stressful.
Once you fix the problem in a department or project you may be assigned to a mediocre position or even get fired.
You may find your coworkers to be uncooperative overly security conscious humans who are hard to communicate with and may fail at doing things efficiently.
Your manager or boss may be handicapped with slight, even complete incompetence or not have enough emotional intelligence to communicate effectively with you. At worst the manager or boss will try to rule with threats of punishment or through fear and intimidation and will be disrespected by almost everyone for the basically tyrannical managerial or bossing style.
CONCLUSION:
Not all jobs are perfect and meet the 9 criteria listed but you may be satisfied with less than the 9 specified if you are desperate or realistic enough.
Your job may not be that skilled and you may be considered a replaceable part, the business may be very hierarchically structured with seniority playing a major role, and the business may be run according to old rules which discourage innovation and advancement within the organization.
That being said it is up to you to determine what kind of a business you would like to work for and it is always smart to ask ahead of time for examples of workers within the company who have succeeded in the path which you hope to follow.
Employers like to paint a rosy picture of their organization and may BS you to some extent. It is ultimately your responsibility to get them to prove what they are saying by asking for concrete good examples of happy and successful personnel during a job interview. The humans who started out where you did and made it to where you want to end up is important information to know from your new employer.

Bill Treasurer gives a rather simplistic view of leadership calling it an “open door” policy and cites Johnny Carson as opening the doors for many other comedians. The obvious flaw in this reasoning is that Carson never intended for any of the comedians to take over his job eventually and unfortunately that is the situation which in reality often exists if you mentor a new employee who then becomes better than you and threatens your job.
It is an idealized form of leadership which few are talented or competent enough to put into place in the workplace but there are important lessons which can be learned about leader and led relationships. The attempt here is to transform a fearful, remote, somewhat tyrannical leader into a fearless, engaged, and nurturing one which is very hard to do if you don’t have these characteristics as part of your personality to begin with.
Here are 7 helpful important good fearless leadership tips.
Give humans a break or permit them to try and possibly fail at important tasks is important.
Have emotional intelligence and know how to motivate humans through confident optimistic rewarding communications.
Give some talented humans with potential a second chance at proving themselves if they fail on the first try.
Give opportunities to others too and not just to your personal favorites.
Be open to feedback and try to improve on your leadership skills as well as the skills of your employees and grow in excellence together.
Try to be a caring leader and find out about personal details especially about personal goals and present frame of mind or don’t be a remote leader with little or no knowledge about employee’s needs and desires.
Learn to delegate authority and develop or mentor future leaders who will use similar leadership skills to your own.
I use Bill Treasurer’s own words about the belief that leaders should be the creators of opportunity for others not stultifyers of opportunity.

straightforward, though it can prove difficult to implement. To become “open-door leaders,”
most executives must change their mind-sets, which takes hard work. Old-style leaders see

become pessimistic and fearful. Employee morale plummets, and performance suffers.
Such “problem-focused leaders” make people worry about the future in the mistaken belief
that fear is the best way to motivate employees. These leaders are easy to identify, not least
because they commonly voice the thought, “What keeps me awake at night is…”
Problem-based leaders live in and communicate fear. They want everyone around them
to be just as scared as they are. Open-door leaders have a positive frame of mind. They
see problems as challenges and opportunities they can exploit for the common good. Their
upbeat attitude encourages their followers to be optimistic and hopeful.”
In a nutshell Bill is trying to replace leadership fear with an encouraging fearless symbiotic relationship with employees. If you are insecure about your job and fear losing it then unfortunately this positive approach may not work for you very well.
It takes balls, competence, and considerable talent in emotional intelligence to be a fearless confident leader with a teamwork frame of mind.

Mentoring is mostly giving advice with some teaching and could be considered to be being a role model who is teaching you how to follow in his or her footsteps. In ancient Greece relatively old and wise mentors not only gave professional advice but even advised you on how to live a moral and social life.
Today most mentors mentor youngsters or are high ranked professionals who take a younger human under their supervision to teach them the basics of how to succeed in a given profession. Actually anyone whom you respect and trust and who is experienced at something or many things can be your mentor. Mentoring can be short lived but some mentoring lasts for a long duration and the mentoring can be done by someone whose knowledge is so extensive that you may go to them for advice as long as they are alive.
Mentoring is a general inclusive category and usually voluntary but some are paid for the mentoring subsets and it is usually considered coaching, counseling, teaching, supervising, or training. A general mentor usually does a little of every subset mentioned to some extent.

You can betray wilderness, country, group of humans, family, a human, and even yourself. Betrayal causes some harm to the betrayed entity. Betrayal of country is frequently considered treason and betrayal of spouse in its most common form is adultery.
A criminal may also betray a fellow criminal which is good for society but bad for the criminal who is caught and maybe even convicted of a crime.
Many of us have secrets about ourselves which if revealed could potentially harm our reputation so it is entirely possible for you to betray yourself, reveal your hidden secret, and hurt your reputation in the process.
You can also betray wilderness and cause harm to it which is a way of saying that you have betrayed your fellow plants and animals on the face of this precious planet.
Whistleblowing may be considered to be an act of betrayal of your organization by members of the organization but in the long duration it is better for society that corruption be weeded out as much as possible.
Loyalty has its limits and if you betray someone not worthy of that loyalty then your betrayal is a good thing.

There are basically two opposing political views. On one end of the spectrum humans want government to do more or pass more laws and effectively control everything and on the other extreme end of the spectrum there are humans who want the government to do as little as possible and basically stay out of the personal decision making process of individuals.
Whatever political party which you are a member of, it doesn’t have all the answers to the political morass we are in. There is some truth in all political parties but a unified just economic and moral approach is a must.
Neither political extreme is workable government since one results in an irresponsible nanny state and the other results in general lawlessness and too much freedom to behave the way that you want without consideration for your impact on others in society.
Most politicians tend to compromise and accept the good with the bad and frequently fail in following good moral principle guidelines which could theoretically ensure a trusting relationship between the governing leadership and the led. The result is growing corruption as the number of laws for monied special interests increase and the government gets more unjust and inefficient guaranteeing that the majority of the population, especially the working tax paying middle class, will be unhappy with the results.
Money is the underlying power behind politics and all parties and the way the economy is managed to a large degree reflects the justice in the society. Society must provide an incentive and opportunity to get a useful education for most, moral education for most, and an incentive to work hard with minimal taxation on contributing working citizens.
When the reverse is true and most get a useless education, bad moral education, and society is job poor with high taxes then this means economic disaster in the long duration and merely income distribution with no strings attached will fail as a realistic solution to the problem.
A moral citizenry is a must for a smoothly functioning government and when humans lose an incentive to work and want to play the system for all that they can get then this means disaster in the long duration.
The world needs a new useful updated secular morality to be taught to all impressionable elementary students. It is except in emergency situations-DON’T DESTROY BIODIVERSITY, DON’T LIE, DON’T BE INEFFICIENT, DON’T STEAL, DON’T COMMIT ADULTERY IF MARRIED, and DON’T MURDER.
Based on current trends unemployment will only increase in the near foreseeable future and there is a chronic need for EDUCATION REFORM and CHANGES IN WELFARE LAWS. Both of these are my evergreen truth books which recommend the needed changes in government laws to assure a more just society in the future.
Whatever the political party, if they start adopting these new standards then it will mean success and failing to adopt them will lead to inevitable bankruptcy and hard times.

The warning signs are already apparent. One company, Netflix, during peak hours is hogging about 35 percent of internet bandwidth. New high resolution technologies promise real time wireless audio video feeds which will clog the present bandwidth available.
No one has published a technical paper evaluating what must be done to avoid disaster and whether it is even possible to process so much information wirelessly and connect it all to internet cable transmission. If it is merely a question of dollars then a solution is possible but if there are technical limits then making the internet hoggers pay an arm and a leg for the service seems to be the only solution.
Net neutrality or relatively cheap internet service for everyone big or small seems to be an impossible pipedream.
Is it physically possible to have worldwide seamless communication for 6 billion humans using their cellphones 24/7? This scary question needs an answer and relatively soon or the internet will quickly come to a grinding halt with billions of unsatisfied customers. If it is technologically possible then I think the price tag will be outrageous and only the rich will be able to get all the bells and whistles which the internet theoretically promises for everyone.

Reducing caloric intake or not eating as much has proven that in rats it can extend your lifespan minimally but all other techniques are not proven.
Your best bet at living a long life is eating healthy organic food, exercising moderately, and not getting involved in dangerous or very stressful occupations or activities. Heart disease, cancer, and Alzheimers are almost inevitable diseases for most humans and if you don’t get any of the big three then chances are great that you will die of old age or natural deterioration.
Sometimes organ replacement will add a few more years if your organ has been prematurely damaged and needs replacement but it will not make you live much past your genetic predetermined lifespan.
Lifespan is primarily genetically determined or you are born to potentially live to an approximate age provided that you don’t do any of the things which can make you die prematurely. Life extension is a billion dollar industry and there are many charlatans trying to convince you that they have the secret to longevity. The truth is that you have an inborn lifespan predetermined at birth and there is very little which you can do to change it.
Yes, there are rare individuals who eat crappy food, don’t move around much, smoke and drink much booze and live quite long but they are the exceptions to the rule and it is a lifestyle which I wouldn’t advocate for longevity for the average human.

The end result is the same. You grow tired of posting, communicating with humans who have little relevance to your life, and soon give up your dream of becoming someone important on the internet.
Form a community on Google+ and your community won’t even come up during a search alphabetically from another computer.
Join Facebook and be inundated with ads and humans that you want no part of and you will soon find yourself unfriending many of them because they add no value to your life but just consume your valuable time.
Join Pinterest and none of your postings will be displayed for view by the public but only yourself and some friendly followers.
Blog on WordPress and you will run out of ideas to blog about and if you do write to please only yourself then you will find that no one is interested. Post a blog and it is only active for the first two or three hours and after that your blog is forgotten history.
Post articles on Linkedin and you are lucky if you get a handful of views and then your article is forgotten history.
Create a channel on Youtube and no one will find it because your channel is low man on the totem pole of selection criteria.
Self publish on Amazon and your book will not even appear in alphabetical order according to title during a title search. Your book will be lost somewhere in the deep bottom of the Amazon search engines which do all the posting and prioritization unless you have money clout.
The internet is for the rich and powerful who can get their articles priority posting by the big companies who do all the selections and prioritizations. If you pay them the money then Google, Youtube, Linkedin, Amazon, Pinterest, Facebook, etc will introduce you or what you have to sell to their audience. If you are an unknown no matter how good you might be then you will be ignored and forgotten unless you pay up.
If you have no money or celebrity clout then unfortunately you will remain a nobody in the internet world. Netflix is already hogging about 35% of the bandwidth on the internet during peak hours and other big companies will be hogging more and more of the internet bandwidth making your items low priority on the list for delivery. If net neutrality is not promoted then I am afraid that the internet will be the domain of the rich and powerful with all the privileges and priorities on the internet.

Ever wonder why the interest on your savings account is so low compared to historical levels? By making mortgage loans at about 4% they are making easy money at your expense.
With credit card loans between 13 and 16% they are making a killing and putting you in debt for the rest of your life unless you declare bankruptcy and free yourself of debt slavery.
We have profligate spenders and a profligate government continuing to pump counterfeit money into the economy. Budgeting your money and saving for a rainy day or retirement is being discouraged with almost no returns on savings accounts and inflation constantly rising and stealing what little money you have tried to save.
I see no glorious optimistic hopes for the future of the world economy because we no longer have realistic checks and balances on the use of money in a sane way. How long the money charade can continue before the money bubble bursts is open to question but a day of reckoning is closer than you think.
Forgive almost all debt and start over with a sane worldwide monetary system which has no inflation and the value of money does not depreciate with time. Most important of all money rules which promote responsible money management by individuals as well as governments, banks, and major financial institutions. A radical solution but it may be necessary in the not too distant future.

Productivity: n. the rate at which ingus is produced which is a measure of the efficiency of production
Ingus: n. information and/or goods and/or services
Productivity is how many or how much information and/or goods and/or services is made per unit time. I have produced mostly information and my productivity is about 2 blogs a day or about 600 blogs per year.
One thing which productivity does not answer is the quality of what is being produced. For example, I have produced some high quality blogs which humans liked much and there have been others which were either to specialized or uninteresting to even attract one like. Whether something is popular is not always an indication of quality but in this world mass consumption of something is what makes the most money realistically speaking.
You can be very productive and produce much junk or you can be very productive and produce very worthwhile things. You can also be rather unpredictable in your productivity and sometimes produce junk and sometimes produce valuable stuff.
Human productivity is not only a measure of how fast you do something which a robot can do faster but how good or well you do something. You can be very efficient but not very good and you can be very good but not very efficient. To be efficient and good at the same time is the most desirable situation.
We are still superior to robots in many ways because although we are not faster than them or more efficient at some things we can do many things better or more efficiently than robots because we are multitalented and can do some very complex behaviors faster than robots. We are still better than robots at negotiating obstacle courses which have much unpredictability in them. A way of saying this is that we can quickly think or react to changes in the environment and robots simply can’t react as fast or as well as humans can. When robots become fast and multitalented then we will have some serious competition on our hands but I don’t see that happening any time soon even though well defined, repetitive, or boring jobs will be replaced by computers rather quickly.

When an individual or small business has too much debt they either enter very hard financial times or declare bankruptcy and start all over from scratch. When a large business has too much debt they frequently undergo a Chapter 11 reorganization bankruptcy proceeding which forgives some debt and refinances other debt and permits them to function as an ongoing business enterprise though sometimes reduced in size.
When the government has too much debt this sometimes leads to hyperinflation and a collapse of the currency and usually a new currency is instituted with new and usually stronger financial rules are instituted which limit the supply of money pumped into the economy by said government.
Money is still not fleeing the United States government but it may once the debt to GDP ratio is to too high which can result in some dire consequences.
Today with money being an international commodity largely backed by the US dollar and with international competition there is no incentive to balance the budget and be a sound currency since this usually means a higher currency value and becoming less competitive in international trade.
The international money supply and rules encourage governments to go into ever and ever larger debt which inflates the global currency and causes inflation since governments inflate their currencies vainly hoping that their debt obligations will decrease with time.
Monetary discipline is necessary for a long duration healthy world economy and current profligacy of most governments ensures that a day of reckoning will come with a global depression. Will there be a Chapter 11 reorganization for all the governments in the world and who will be in charge of this reorganization?
What the world desperately needs is a sound inflation free worldwide currency which maintains its value over time. Will the nations of the world agree to this? I strongly doubt it because there is not political unity with similar financial rules which is what is necessary for a worldwide currency to be instituted.
Austerity measures are frequently necessary to repay debt and unfortunately this is not a very popular political alternative for most democracies. A financial crisis is what is needed to stop profligate spending and there may be one just around the corner because free or counterfeit money has its limits in the real world.

Don’t get wasted on alcohol and drugs, avoid dating abusive violent personalities, don’t go to remote locations, especially with strangers, and keep an eye on your drinks or have a friend do so in unfamiliar bars or places, especially if a stranger seems interested in you.
If you are sober and awake and know basic self defense or know how to effectively attack the groin area and eyes then the possibility of getting raped is minimized.
There is also the remote possibility of getting gang raped, especially if you are unconscious. Stay away from male gangs if you fear that possibility and don’t date gang members.

Historically about 2 to 3% of the population was diagnosed with mental illness. Today the number is approaching 25% of the population in the US with some kind of mental disorder. The list of behavioral disorders or great deviation from the norm is almost endless with attempts made to even include manic compulsive shopping disorders. Deviate greatly from normative behavior and you can be classified into a psychiatric vaguely defined disorder or mental illness to be treated with drugs and the list keeps growing every time that the new psychiatric manual is updated and comes out.
The real solution to most supposed mental illnesses is a healthy diet of food and drink, getting some moderate exercise, getting off addictions to illegal and legal drugs, changing to a less stressful job, associating with better non addicted moral friends, ending dysfunctional marriages, reading and researching self improvement info, doing some volunteer work for a non profit organization to escape loneliness, and trying to lead a more purposeful constructive life without the live for today and do what feels good mentality.
Instead psychiatrists have an instant solution or pill for all your problems, get you addicted to drugs with terrible side effects which mess up your mind even more, and with the major drug companies laugh all the way to the bank.
Psychiatry has become an immoral scam of pill pushing not doing anything positive about reforming society but making problems worse for most individuals who seek counseling in a desperate attempt to make their dysfunctional lives function better. Psychiatrists should be doing the work of historical priests, rabbis, mullahs, etc. giving realistic advice on how to live a proper healthy moral life instead of giving pill advice which is no advice or guidance at all.
I have utter contempt for the psychiatric “profession” and wonder when humans will finally wake up to the scam and start seeking help elsewhere for their dysfunctional lives.
Feel depressed? We have a happy pill for that which will elevate your mood. Feel hyper? We have a pill for that too to calm you down. Stop taking the pill for a while and you have worse or more depression or more hyper behavior because the drugs alter brain chemistry and addict your brain to the medication.
If you have insomnia the pills actually are glorified sleeping pills and when you stop taking them your insomnia gets worse and you start suffering from all the mental symptoms of prolonged sleep deprivation which can really start making you behave in crazy ways with hallucinations, incoherent thoughts, and other mental delusions.
Sure a very small percentage of the population do have very severe mental illness which makes them unable to function properly in society and they have to be medicated but definitely not close to the 25 % of the population today.
If you are classified mentally ill and are on medication then chances are about 7 out of 8 that you are royally being screwed over by the psychiatrist.

When a business spends money like a drunken sailor the business is forced to raise prices and if they are not a monopoly then they go out of business or undergo refinancing bankruptcy proceedings.
When a big bank makes too many risky loans then soon it begins working in the red and bankruptcy threatens. The central bank or government can bail a bank out as it did after the real estate bust in 2008 because the bank was considered to be too big to fail. In a national crisis the central bank may take over failing banks and start running them in a more responsible way or permit one big bank to take over most of the remaining ones. There is always a way out of a financial crisis because money is the only issue and the money counterfeiters have all the power.
When the central bank begins to spend like a drunken sailor the national debt increases rapidly, it leads to a financially sick economy of big spenders, and ultimate bankruptcy of the entire financial institution threatens.
A bust after the unrealistic boom of money in circulation is the only cure to the spending crazies in the nation and world. Unfortunately a tightening of the money supply causes many business failures and the economic state of the nation deteriorates rapidly causing massive unemployment and further debt, this time worldwide.
I don’t fear the collapse of the worldwide profligate financial system because debt can be forgiven or refinanced as a solution so the humans in charge of the money supply are really the ones to blame if the world plunges into a worldwide depression. If the world money bags are too greedy and want to consolidate their power even more with a depression then they will and rule more and more of the world by bankrupting profligate individuals and businesses.
Money can be controlled rationally or irrationally and if the world is in a sick financial situation then irrational over speculation is the cause and it must cease or become less prevalent. New money rules may have to be instituted if the current financial system turns out to be a bust.
Banks should make relatively safe loans and incentivize humans to save some of their money for emergencies and retirement with decent returns on savings accounts. They are not doing so today, are encouraging profligate behavior, and are themselves becoming profligate investors of the nation’s money. Irresponsible money management on a small scale is unhealthy procedure and on a big scale it can be catastrophic and result in a hardship depression. I guess it is human nature to wildly speculate when times are good financially but unfortunately a bust is usually around the corner sooner or later as a result of such irresponsible behavior.

Addiction: n. compulsively desiring a subset(s)
We are all addicted to good and bad habits and grey ones which are good or bad depending on the circumstances.
Human nature is basically doing things impulsively or habitually in a predictable routine way because we don’t have to always stop ourselves and ask- is what I am doing right or wrong?
Doing something bad once in a while will usually not doom you to a life of debauchery or ruin an otherwise good reputation and you may even get some satisfaction out of doing so. A little speeding on the highway, occasional arguing, occasional criticizing, some jealousy, a little pornography, a little gambling, and getting drunk once in a while will usually not adversely affect your life unless it becomes a compulsion or it is repeated much too frequently.
Compulsive eating, drinking, drug taking, gambling, pornography, lust, masturbation, arguing, complaining, criticizing, jealousy, envy, abuse, talking, depression, laziness, procrastination, etc. can lead to severe problems in life and it is basically your responsibility to realize that what you are doing is getting out of control and causing you much unhappiness.
Chemical addictions can be devastating but many of your dysfunctional emotional addictions or personality flaws can also cause many problems and ultimate unhappiness.
If you can afford the time and money then rehab may be a solution to your drug addiction and it always helps to have supportive friends and family. If you have bad friends and bad family then unfortunately a near death experience may be the fear which shocks you into finally doing something about your terrible addiction on your own.
After rehab the worst thing that you can possibly do is to go back to the same environment and addicted friends who will trigger your need for the drug all over again and cause you to relapse. Change your living quarters and drop your addicted friends and try to find better ones if at all possible if you truly want a fresh new start in life.
Most bad addictions are not life threatening and the key to reducing their bad influence on your life is to gradually replace them with good addictions or good habits which you enjoy doing. Search my blog under bad habits and good habits because the first key to solving an addiction is to realize that you have a bad habit and the next step is to start replacing it with one or more good habits which you enjoy doing.
Addictions to immorality are the worst. If you are addicted to lying, stealing, and adultery then your social reputation will be in the toilet and you may begin to feel that the world is against you at every turn and unhappiness will cling to you like a parasite.
Your delusional ego may be telling you that there is no need for improvement in your life. Do some reading and research and find out whether this is truly the case.
Going through life blinded by your selfish ego is not a sure way to successful living so try to make the best of your moments on this precious earth. Enjoy life to the fullest with true selfawareness gotten from wise humans who have lived life and have gone through the same shit that you are going through successfully.

The analogy of personal savings and fat in an animal’s body is very appropriate. When an animal is sick, suffers and injury, or is starving from lack of food then it can burn the body fat it has stored to survive until the body heals itself or finds more food.
Humans have emergencies. It may be a chronic health issue or loss of a job or need of money in retirement and with savings to rely upon you can weather the storm. Going into debt is another possibility for emergency situations but if the economy is in a depression or if your credit cards are maxed out then the possibility of getting financial help may be out of the question. OK, personal bankruptcy is the option in the modern world but the hardship it can cause can sometimes bring you to the verge of suicide.
Businesses are in the same situation. If they have savings or a financial reserve then they can weather an economic downturn when banks are not lending any money that easily. If their reserves are inadequate then severe financial downsizing or even bankruptcy threatens.
Banks and central banks also need savings or financial capital reserves because going into debt or working in the red for too long spells financial disaster. Sure, counterfeit money can be printed to bail out banks during a financial crisis but the national debt grows along with it and ultimately the debt has to be repaid unless there is debt forgiveness or restructuring or refinancing.
Banks wildly speculating with derivatives and other non tangible assets in the trillions of dollars have incredible potential future debt or obligations which no amount of money printing can save in a severe liquidity crisis.
International banks are increasingly becoming profligate wild speculators making riskier and riskier loans not backed by capital reserves. It is just a question of time before the governments of the world will start putting the brakes on this incredible bank Ponzi scheme with a new more rational financial system for the world and new financial rules for the banking world.
It may take a worldwide depression to shock the nations of the world into financial reality but the day of reckoning is coming sooner or later. The nations of the world which will come out of depression on a sounder financial footing will be the ones with rich natural resources and a large GDP and GNP.
Ruling justly with money is potentially possible but when the financial system loses touch with reality and tangible assets it is doomed to implode eventually. Gradual financial change is preferable to shocking sudden change but I doubt that humans on a spending addiction will be able to make the necessary changes in small increments with more just financial laws.
Inflation and ridiculous interest on savings accounts is not encouraging wise saving for individual family units and ultimately the government is a reflection of the budgeting ability of its citizens. Encourage private profligacy and national profligacy is the result. No inflation or a decent return on savings which keeps pace with inflation is one of the fundamental solutions necessary in a just banking system.
Budgeting is not taught in elementary school and that is one of the biggest failures of the educational system of any nation!!!!!!

Individual income taxes bring in about 46% of the Federal Budget, about 32% from payroll taxes, and about 13% from corporate taxes. Those three major sources make it almost 100% of all revenue.
We are in an era of international competition and major international corporations like GE are paying no tax at all. Let’s stop the charade. Simplify the tax system and put accountants and tax deductions out of business.
We need a fixed percentage of individual income taxes so that the rich will be paying more into the system because they will be earning more.
A 1% payroll tax so the government can keep track of worker income.
A 1% tax on all non polluting profit or non profit corporations to keep track of their income.
A national sales tax on information, goods, and services of about 10% which will replace payroll taxes and discourage consumption and pay for the increasing welfare burden and can gradually be increased when more humans wind up on welfare.
A 10% tax on polluting corporations to encourage them to become sustainable pollution free enterprises good for the environment. Non organic food industries will also be paying a 10% tax on income.
This way we will have an efficient tax system encouraging the formation of relatively pollution free corporations which provide jobs for humans who will then contribute in a major way with individual income taxes.
With a 1% payroll tax there will be enough money to pay for a slightly higher income tax percentage. Of course humans will be tempted to spend all the money right away and not have any left over for income taxes so a system can be devised to collect your estimated yearly income tax on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.
Mortgage interest deductions subsidize the banking industry and they can charge more for loans, medical deductions subsidize humans with bad health and the medical industry so they can charge more for their services, and business deductions encourage profligate spending on travel, food, and other non essential inefficiencies.
Eliminate all tax deductions. We really don’t need any!!! Eliminate all tax loopholes. They are unjust and we really don’t need them!!!
More importantly we will once again become more internationally competitive and small businesses will begin to flourish who are usually more efficient than large corporations.

Creationism is the biblical concept of God creating the universe out of nothing about 6000 years ago. The universe was thought by scientists to be infinite until the red shift was discovered and it was erroneously assumed that the universe did indeed have a beginning.
Every life form on the earth goes through a life or death cycle so it intuitively seems that every planet, star, and galaxy should also go through a life and death cycle including the universe. Many scientists too since the discovery of the red shift believe that the universe had a beginning about 14 billion years ago so they are really creationists too because many believe that the universe originated from a singularity or nothing.
Whether you believe the universe was created 6000 years ago or 14 billion years ago you are still fundamentally a creationist so the difference is really only one of time.
If you are a scientist then you probably believe in evolution so the argument is really about the slow development of life forms versus the instantaneous development of life forms along with matter and energy as claimed by the bible.
I still believe the universe is infinite and planets, stars, and galaxies are recycled in it but the universe is not recycled. Because of the “wrong” assumption that the universe is expanding in an increasing way the concept of metaphysical dark matter or mass, dark energy, and even dark gravity have had to be invented to explain this assumed expansion.
Wrong assumptions lead to crazy solutions trying to explain the way the universe really works and it is time to reassess our fundamental creationist ideas about the universe. The red shift is a misleading bit of information as I have written in my blog The Truth About the Red Shift.
The alternative explanation for the red shift is that radiation loses its energy or velocity as it travels through space. The longer radiation travels through space the more velocity or energy it loses. Where does this energy loss go? Well I too believe that there may be some dark mass which slows it down as it travels through it and that would explain the change in velocity or the Doppler shift which the red shift really is an indicator of.
No one really has all the answers yet if ever since the Hubble telescope is uncovering evidence of turbulence in the universe which does not follow simple relativity laws. The unexplained phenomenon or anomalies which we are discovering abound and it is enough questions to keep astrophysicists busy for hundreds of years if not longer.
Nature or your God is really quite awesome and is not giving up it’s secrets readily. In fact we may not be smart enough or have not evolved enough to really understand how the universe really works on the very small and the cosmological level.

You can have the rank of actor but there is a big difference in a popular celebrity actor and one who is barely making a living at it and is forced to take on other menial jobs to survive financially. You can be a high status actor or a low status actor within your actor rank or classification.
When you have high status then you can surround yourself with high status friends and material possessions commonly found among successful humans. You can also have high status, not too many high status friends, and live a relatively humble or moderate existence with an average car and house and nothing outstanding. Most humans function somewhere in between those two extremes of flaunting your status or not flaunting it at all.
There are also status conscious humans who have low status but think that it is appropriate to surround themselves with the better things in life and frequently go into great debt trying to live up to those unrealistic high status standards.
The term status symbol is frequently associated with something very expensive or exclusive. Awards for achievement and membership in exclusive clubs are frequently highly valued by status conscious humans. If you stand out from the crowd in some special way then you have greater status than someone who does not stand out from the crowd.
In society reputation and integrity are very important and frequently those with an excellent reputation and integrity are the ones which also have the highest status even though much money sometimes is a leading indicator of status within societies.
Humans are frequently confronted with the dilemma of making much money deceptively in the short run or making a reasonable amount of money without severely exploiting others. Businesses are constantly confronted with the moral dilemma of putting the most emphasis on the bottom line or short term profit or satisfying a customer base in the long duration and making a modest short term profit.
Brand loyalty is much coveted by businesses and it is a status symbol in the business world which frequently stands for the good reputation of a highly desirable useful product or service.

Generalized franchising statistics are very misleading and seldom give an accurate picture of each franchisee’s actual experience which frequently is worse than what the statistics portray.
A 1995 study by Dr. Timothy Bates, a professor at Wayne State University in Detroit, found that the franchise failure rate actually exceeded 30 percent and that franchises made lower profits than independent entrepreneurs. Dr. Bates’ study also found that the average capital investment of franchisees was $500,000, compared to $100,000 for independent entrepreneurs.
“Twenty years from their start, less than 20% of the franchisers will still be around,” Prof. Shane says. “In fact, of the more than 200 new franchise systems established in the United States each year, 25% don’t even make it to their first anniversary.”
Small business association loan default rates vary from about 90% to 10% depending on the company and only indirectly give you misleading ball park figures of the success rate for a business that may not have used a small business association loan.
It is not obvious to most that the location of the business, the type of business, management skills of the franchise, need for the business in the community, brand popularity, and competing similar businesses surrounding the franchise are leading reasons for success or failure and no one has really effectively studied a franchise failure rate or success rate based on those 5 important parameters.
Pick a remote location or one with low potential customer density, have bad employee managing skills, pick a business the community doesn’t need or only needs about two times a year, pick a business brand no one recognizes by name, and pick a business with many similar competitors and your failure is 100% guaranteed.
If you haven’t researched and verified these 5 parameters for your business then it is basically a crap shoot with minimal opportunity for success in the long duration and you will probably lose what money you personally have invested plus you will default on a loan if you got one.
Even if your start up business seems to be a roaring success future competitors setting up shop near you may devastate your business in the long duration.
Saturation in most businesses or too much similar competition is a major reason why new businesses frequently fail since the profit pie is so small to begin with.
I am not trying to scare you but if you have no prior business experience and only money to lose then chances are that you will lose all of it with franchise investing. The odds are against you in a major way.

We think of either having information or not having it and it is represented as the number 1 or 0. To make any sense the smallest “bit” of information must occupy space or volume and must be time and/or energy dependent. Is the smallest bit of information energy or mass or maybe a combination of both? If it is energy then it occupies volume and there must be a description of it because it definitely is not an infinitely small point in space.
Is information a property of both energy and mass and if so what is the relationship? No one has accurately defined information on the micro level and until someone does information will remain an unanswered mystery or unknown.
To further complicate matters what is the difference of information in transit or moving with velocity and information which for all practical purposes is standing still or orbiting a large or small mass or even subatomic particle? No one knows for now. The non random minimally statistical organizational principles of matter and energy or information commonly referred to entropy is unknown mathematically in a precise or accurate deterministic way.
What kind of information is arranged in a volume and how ultimately small the quanta of information can get are still unanswered questions in micro or quantum physics. There is apparently some statistical randomness and some determinism in the universe and what percentage of both in real life situations on the quantum level is still unknown.
I prefer the deterministic explanation for the laws of nature on the quantum level because nature knows what it is doing and we don’t so that is why we have a long way to go before we uncover those deterministic quantum principles.
How does nature organize information on the micro level which we can now only do on the macro level?
Biological information processing on the macroscopic level does not seem to be binary in nature although we don’t really know whether on the mini microscopic level it is binary. Maybe information processing on the mini microscopic level also imitates macro information processing to some degree. We just don’t know yet and it may take much time before we find out.

Mathematics is an imprecise tool for the physical world when the concept of zero and infinity is used in equations. It leads to metaphysical conclusions about the physical world.
In relativity there is infinite energy, mass, gravity or a black hole at a point in space leading to incomprehensible questions about what happens to information or whether physical reality gets totally destroyed. New theories are getting more realistic and addressing the singularity problem claiming that in the real world a black hole must occupy space and time which the classical theory of relativity totally ignores.
In string theory there is the concept of infinite energy or frequency when the two points of a vibrating string meet. String theory still has not addressed the problem theoretically of this singularity and it is just a question of time before it too will be updated and one will assume that the string or vibration must occupy space or volume and time for it to be a valid theory.
I welcome an attempt to eliminate singularities from equations because without their elimination the creationist frame of mind will persist and scientists will be creating something out of nothing on into the foreseeable future. I believe in the conservation of something which gets transformed and sometimes appears as energy, mass, or gravity and I definitely don’t believe that that something can be totally destroyed or disappear into a void.
Yes, it is possible that that something may be absorbed by dark mass or dark energy or dark gravity and seem to disappear from the universe that we can measure and observe but I don’t believe that that something can be destroyed into nothingness or zero.
I also don’t believe that time can be created or destroyed but is infinite unless applied in quantum intervals to the physical world. With this approach it is illogical to ask the questions- When did time begin? or Can we begin time all over again from zero?
Cycles or vibrations per second and distance per second are the ways that time is used to try and understand reality. One is string theory and the other is relativity. Can string theory and relativity be merged?
String theory tries to address the concept of number per second and relativity tries to address the concept of distance per second. Merging the two theories means number and distance must be combined which is an impossibility because number and distance are two independent variables. That is why neither string theory nor relativity is a total answer to what the physical world is really like but both if merged will have two independent variables whose values will never really be known.
It is the problem of two independent not dependent variables. String theory assumes dependence of vibrations and time and relativity assumes dependence of distance and time. Neither explanation will ever be the total truth of a complete explanation of physical reality.
The scientific underlying problem is describing a particle or wave standing still and one in motion all using one equation. Maybe the particle or wave always moves in straight lines or in orbit around other particles or waves but you still have to differentiate between the two possibilities. The particle or wave is either moving in orbit around a relatively large or small mass or moving in a straight line away from that mass and can’t be doing both at the same time. If mass is just energy or a wave then how do you describe energy “standing still”?
Yes, there is distance or wavelength in a frequency but how then is this wavelength related to the distance traveled by the particle or wavelength or WHAT determines when the frequency is relatively stationary and when it is not relatively stationary but in linear motion? Maybe the quantum frequency(s) determines whether it is in linear motion or not and is a quantum phenomenon of go or no go or linear motion or no linear motion. I feel that no one frequency determines the go or no go of an energy packet. So what does?
Information is also energy in motion and stored energy which is relatively stationary. Maybe the key to it all is defining what something or information really is if not a function of energy only or a function of energy and mass but not at the same time. I am currently researching the definition of information and will comment if I learn something new.
One grand simple unified theory of everything mathematically is not possible and anyone in search of a quest to do so is a delusional scientific charlatan. One theory of everything? Delusional BS!!!!!!

For monopoly government and monopoly businesses the only logical counterbalance to job injustice is publishing resumes and job performance statistics on the internet for public view. This way someone with a superior resume and better job performance history could potentially apply to be promoted or even hired for a job.
Yes, your good personality and ability to work effectively in a team are very important too and you have to have basic emotional intelligence but your objective performance and resume should be public knowledge as much as possible.

A simple explanation. The red shift is proportional to the distance of a star or galaxy and can be used to measure distance between celestial objects. OK, then why is there a slight blue shift in the spectrum of the Andromeda Galaxy and about 100 other objects in the sky with blue shifts out of billions?
It seems that the red shift can explain most distances but not about 100 of them. If the Andromeda galaxy is moving closer to the earth or the Milky Way galaxy then its red shift should be independent of it’s velocity towards us but only dependent on the distance from us. But our logic fails us and it turns out that red shift and distance are in fact not always related or proportional in a unidirectional way.
Is the red shift proportional to total distance or is it proportional to velocity? The answer must be either or and not both. The red shift either accurately measures distance or it accurately measures velocity or speed but not both. Sure, relativity assumes that speed and distance are related using the speed of light but we are talking here about the absolute distance of galaxies and relativity does not give us a tool to measure absolute distances nor does the red shift.
If we can only measure distances in light years then we are only making statements about the relative velocities of those objects or the relative velocities of the radiation coming from them and not statements about their absolute distances.
Quasars are another example of objects breaking the rule that luminosity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them so that luminosity is also not a reliable way to measure the distance between two cosmological objects. A star is brighter in the sky so it is closer to us? Not necessarily so because of Quasars which seem to break this rule.
I too yearn for the day when simple rules will explain everything in a logical way. Unfortunately the universe is so complex and filled with rule exceptions that the best that we can hope for is approximations to a rule or rules which become more complex with the passage of time. Turbulence in the universe observed by the Hubble telescope means that simple relativity also doesn’t have all the answers to cosmological movement.
I doubt that the merging of relativity with quantum mechanics will give final answers to everything which is still unknown and especially why we have to introduce the metaphysics of dark matter and dark energy to explain the “expansion” of the universe since theoretically about 96% of these metaphysical quantities comprise the bulk of the universe.
I personally don’t believe the universe is expanding from a black hole or singularity origin but I too am forced to admit that dark matter or mass slowing down radiation and dark energy speeding up radiation causing red and blue shifts may be the ultimate theory trying to explain it in some way. With current knowledge or lack of knowledge I am forced to raise up my hands and say I just will probably never know the truth in my lifetime.

Mathematics is really a storage tool for information just like shelves in a closet. If we come across new information which doesn’t fit into an old shelf then we invent a new dimension or shelf to put that knowledge in. When we want to explain phenomenon like subatomic particles in reality we go to shelf one or two or more to extract the information.
Three dimensional reality or mathematics was not enough to explain physical realities so time was forcefully included as another dimension to make it four. The result of forcing a 4 dimensional world is the need for dark mass, dark energy, and dark gravity complicating matters more. String theory for bosons uses as many as 26 and string theory has been whittled down to 10 dimensions or shelves. More experimental evidence which doesn’t fit the theory of 10 dimensions and more will be added until all the relevant information can be stored and then retrieved successfully.
Efficiency in dimensional use is preferred or the fewer shelves the better but unfortunately the understanding of the universe is getting more complex all the time and I am afraid that the number of shelves or dimensions will probably have to be expanded in the future instead of decreased unless there is a revolutionary rethinking of relativity.
Virtual dark mass and dark energy will probably need an additional 4 or 10 dimensions to explain it all so we can look forward to an incredibly abundant multidimensional world in the future.
Theoretical physicists are feverishly playing in a world incomprehensible to the average logical thinking human and it is no wonder that they are being scoffed at or ridiculed for their departure from the everyday realities of the three dimensional real world experienced by all.
Accepting the fact that radiation velocity is not constant in the universe should solve most of the logical paradoxes created by trying to oversimplify the real three dimensional world and creating instead the need for multidimensional worlds.
Time and distance can’t be treated the same way mathematically because it is just not the real truth but a handicapped shorthand way of describing the universe leading to more problems than it can solve. Time is an independent not dependent variable on distance all the time since you can also count objects per second which is a reality totally independent of distance measurements.
Subatomic particle theory assumes a constant velocity C for all radiation and it is entirely possible that many of the subatomic particles are in fact the same charged particle differing in quantum mass and traveling at different quantum velocities giving the same momentum or registering the same energy in a magnetic field. One unknown variable is easily solved but two unknown variables is mathematically insoluble and we enter the world of probabilities. How much mass and how much velocity? C is a ballpark figure and may not be reality. No one has experimentally measured the speed or velocity of a subatomic particle so my theory is just as valid as yours for the time being. Energy created from subatomic particles may also vary in speed or velocity in a quantum way.

When a heavy lepton decays, one of the particles it decays into is always its corresponding neutrino. The other particles “could be” a quark and its antiquark, or another lepton and its antineutrino.
This pretty much summarized the dark hole of knowledge which subatomic particle physics has become. Ok, a “heavy” lepton decays into a neutrino, quark and antiquark, or another lepton and its antineutrino. What does a neutrino, quark, antiquark, lepton, or antineutrino decay into?
Is there such a thing as a “heavy” quark, heavy antiquark, heavy neutrino or heavy anitneutrino?
No one knows or probably will know with any degree of scientific precision because decay chains beyond one decay are not readily observable scientifically.
Charged subatomic particles mysteriously appear and then quickly disappear by changing into other particles and/or energy and no one really knows or can describe the process accurately with measurable results. It is even possible that subatomic particles not only transform into other more stable particles but that some of their energy and mass may actually become part of dark mass or dark energy which is undetectable by any scientific instrumentation which we currently have.
Dark energy is about 73 % of the universe, dark mass or matter is 23% and that leaves about 4% comprising planets, stars, electromagnetic radiation, and lifeforms.
That charge is conserved in the universe leads to concepts of matter and antimatter colliding and forming the universe about 14 billion years ago yet there seems to be more matter than antimatter left over and no one can explain why because it is probably the wrong way of thinking about the “creationist” origins of the universe in the first place. Antimatter and matter never collided in such great quantities in the first place because the universe has always been around and was never created or recycled from prior universes or forms of matter and/or energy!!!
Rational and logical conclusion: matter and antimatter did not collide together billions of years ago. An even more devastating indictment of this philosophical theoretical assumption is-Where did the matter and antimatter come from or how was it formed or created and for religious believers by whom?
Subatomic particle detectors only detect charged particles and electromagnetic waves and if there are any neutrally charged particles or if there is any dark mass or energy then no detection is possible. Unfortunately we will never have all the answers to this insurmountable dilemma until we can detect the undetectable! Try and accelerate non charged neutrons using an electromagnetic field and make them collide with one another. Mission impossible for now!
I am not one advocating the cessation of investigations into subatomic particles because it is entirely possible that some new rational knowledge will eventually come from it. I personally like experimentation on a grand scale with billion dollar equipment.
“Magical” subatomic particles being created and decaying is a highly skilled endeavor and maybe someday the decay chains of subatomic particles will be uncovered with greater precision. For the time being, some of that knowledge may be useful in answering what actually exists in the space of a black hole which has such great gravitational force.
Charge is theoretically conserved but what if it isn’t in some cases? No one knows. If charge is conserved then maybe a photon is two charges or identical frequencies rotating in opposite directions creating an attractive force which keeps the photon together. No one knows yet.
Onward you half crazed scientists boldly striving for a potentially great future of rational logical knowledge about the workings of the universe!!!
