Most no longer use global warming as a political weapon but rather climate change which is even harder to prove or disprove scientifically, especially how humans cause more climate change or less. First of all there is a big difference in knowing the purpose of your life in it’s entirety and knowing what the purpose of your life is in the here and now. The answer to the first purpose can be a philosophical one but the answer to the second is a practical here and now answer.
You may feel that the purpose or goal of your whole life is to help others, to lead a moral life, to make a lot of money, to change the world for the better, to obey a religious text, to survive, etc.
In the here and now your purpose or goal is to work at a job, eat and drink, have fun, lead a married life, live off of welfare, survive financially, work or study to become a hair dresser, electrician, lawyer, doctor, politician, etc.
If your purpose in life helps the needs or wants of other humans and makes them feel happy and secure then chances are that you also will benefit financially, socially, and maybe even spiritually. If your purpose in life is to make yourself happy at the expense of others then that is a possible purpose but not a very laudable selfish one.
What you are doing now is a purpose or goal and what you would like to do or love to do is sometimes a future goal or purpose. Since our life is in constant change for the most part your specific purposes or goals in life change as you age. General purposes such as living a moral life, socially interacting well, trying to conserve wilderness and wildlife, trying to make the world more peaceful, etc. are purposes which you may have an entire lifetime and dedicate some of your time, effort, and money trying to make the general purposes come true in the long duration.
Do you bemoan the fact that your life seems to have no purpose and the very thought depresses you? Think in terms of short range purposes or goals and long range purposes or goals and you will find that your life has plenty of purpose and that you can come up with more purposes or goals if you so desire! You’re not physically dead yet although you may feel mentally dead. For the mentally dead start reading some useful information and make that one of the here and now purposes in your life for a better life in the long duration!
You may be unhappy with your present job or career, unhappy with yourself, unhappy with your friends, unhappy with your marriage, unhappy with your lonely life, etc. If that is the case then train for or land a better job or career, improve yourself with useful selfeducation, find better friends to associate with, get a divorce, volunteer to do community service, etc.
If your life doesn’t seem to have good purposes or goals then change your purposes or goals. Yes, change is difficult and takes courage, dedication, and persistence so don’t be too surprised if you chose the easy way out and choose to continue your “purposeless” life or more accurately your old bad habits! Yes, a major key to happiness is changing to new and better habits and reducing or eliminating your old bad habits. It’s that simple yet hard to do. Best wishes. Uldis

Before marriage it is always important to make sure that your views on morality are the same or that you trust each other, don’t lie, and believe in a monogamous relationship during marriage. Other things which are very important are your spending habits and whether you want to raise children. Agreeing on these major points is necessary for a good compatible marriage but there are other areas where commonality is not so important and may even be an antidote for a boring marital life. If you differ in these 8 general areas then it is no great reason for being overly concerned and it can result in a rather interesting marriage and not a dull one.
Different hobbies and interests are acceptable and with time and the sharing of experiences you may even become more interested in those differing hobbies and interests yourself. I had a scientific background and a great interest in technology, tools, and science and my wife was an artist interested in crafts, knitting, sewing, and dress making which I considered at first to basically be a waste of time, not a money maker, and basically boring trivia.
Over the years I made aesthetic evaluations based primarily upon how close to reality and nature the artistic items were. I was surprised that with time my tastes and spouse’s tastes became more alike and I developed a good sense of color, texture, etc. and became much better at evaluating artistic expressions and was surprised how often she asked me for advice, I gladly offered it, and we often agreed.
Different political beliefs are possible because one spouse will basically think that government should get involved in helping out humans in need and the other spouse may basically feel that humans should behave more responsibly and government help should only be used as a last resort. Let’s face it, establishment Republicans and Democrats basically believe in growing government and passing laws often favoring the rich and special interests even though they may claim publically that they are representing and addressing the needs of minorities, the poor, and middle class.
Sexual turn-ons may slightly differ in spouses and some may seem rather unusual and kinky. With time and having sex the same basic way very often you may eventually try doing some of that kinky stuff as a change of pace and find out that it is not that bad after all and perhaps perfectly acceptable. After all, pleasing one another sexually can be important even though some of the desired variations may take a little effort and perhaps unpleasant sacrifice to fulfill.
It is not unusual for taste in movies, music, and TV to be different with women often liking love stories, family films, and romance a lot while men often prefer action films and sports related subject matter.
Different cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds can sometimes challenge a relationship if there is no common morality but often these differences can be accepted and even appreciated with the passage of time. Most conflicts which will arise can be ironed out if dogmatic relatives do not get too involved and start interfering in the marriage and trying to run it in one direction only or a direction which is opposed to the beliefs and practices of one spouse exclusively.
Of course if you are a dogmatic Muslim, Jehovah Witness, or Orthodox Jew then a different religion for a spouse will not work. Most religions are relatively flexible with liberal and conservative wings and a shared basic morality which is don’t lie, don’t steal, and don’t commit adultery if married.
Introvert and extrovert spouses can often make a go of it where the introverted spouse leaves most of the socializing to the other spouse and focuses mainly on family responsibilities and not social ones. I am an introvert without a close friend and let my wife take care of social connections. It has worked well this way for over 25 years. I am much more selective in the humans that I associate with than my wife who maintains minimal contact with about a hundred humans who have crossed her life but even here she only has a handful of a few good friends and her sister whom she stays in frequent contact with.
Cleanliness and orderliness can be an abnormal obsession with some humans who may incessantly nag if something is not clean or orderly. If the house isn’t cleaned on a regular basis, the dishes are not always washed, the laundry is not always done, etc. you can still lead a relatively clean and orderly life as long as you are not nagged about it on a regular basis.
A sense of adventure and desire to travel may differ in spouses and is usually a costly enterprise since traveling to distant places and meeting different humans is often time consuming and expensive. If you don’t like adventure then you can let your spouse do the adventuresome stuff alone or with other like minded humans.
As long as you are not going into debt financing the travel and adventure, it is not something which will ruin a marriage.

It is human nature and the nature of language to want to classify humans into groups not realizing that there is often much overlap. Sometimes just labeling someone religious, an agnostic, or an atheist is very misleading and tends to create destructive conflicts which alienate one group from another.
I as a secular moralist intensely believe that a secular moral code should be taught in secular government schools worldwide.
Why? So that young impressionable minds are indoctrinated in how to best intuitively and peacefully interact with their fellow humans.
Further explanation: Offspring who eventually should become responsible adults should not always be in turmoil asking themselves-Is what I am going to do or say next morally right or wrong? There should be largely impulsive beliefs which courageously guide our interactions with others and optimize the probability for friendly interactions which have the potential for creating some close friendships. Our interactions with other humans should have the potential to create trusting and respectful relationships with a majority of moral human friends, especially the close ones in our circle of friends which can vary in size depending on how social we wish to be.
I intensely believe that ethical principles and suggested rules of behavior when interacting with other humans should be a direct logical outgrowth from the secular moral code and not the other way around.
Why? Relativistic situation ethics has immoral tendencies which often leads to the end justifies the means kind of thinking. You have a goal(s) in life and almost anything that you do to try and reach that goal(s) can be justified as being acceptable. This too often leads to more of an acceptance of sociopathic behavior which uses lying and deception to achieve great wealth or power. When caught in the wrong doing the punishment is often not more than a slap on the wrist even though there is moral outrage.
I intensely believe that a just society should reward the moral humans much more than the immoral ones and this should be reflected in just laws which optimize the probability that the immoral humans will be punished adequately and their existence will be relatively small in society.
Why? Immorality creates destructive chaos in society and the trusting bond and respect between humans and between humans and their leaders breaks down resulting in failed relationships and an inevitable tyranny designed to establish some semblance of order and security based on fear of death and the threat of severe punishment. Live among mostly moral humans and there is more predictable behavior and security and a sense that you are not imminently going to be the victim of some violent, lying, deceptive predator.
Here is the “modern” secular moral code which I fervently believe in:
Except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder!!!!!!
I have written extensively on themes which are an outgrowth of this secular moral code and I leave it up to you to follow up if you choose. I will only briefly touch upon two which are rather unique views of morality.
Don’t destroy biodiversity is the most important which addresses the need to conserve and even expand our wilderness areas for the long duration benefit of humanity. When irresponsible use of technology alters our environment and food supply and makes it unhealthy for human consumption, wilderness will be the safety net for new generations of healthy time tested food.
Don’t be inefficient addresses the great desirability of living sustainable lives and recycling as much human garbage and waste as possible. It also addresses the problem of overconsuming humans polluting their environment with inefficient behavior doing too many trivial and unnecessary things in life or wasting their time on relatively meaningless or purposeless activity. This moral principle also addresses human excess-too much talking, too much spending, too much drinking and eating, too much entertainment, too much arguing, too much bad or useless education, etc. etc.
Ideally what I really need is disciples and followers or humans who might be able to improve upon the secular moral code, fill in the details, advertise it worldwide, and form nuclear communities within nations which hopefully will prosper and entice many more followers worldwide.
I am too old to become a physical leader of secular moral humans but if you want to try and pursue such a lofty ambition then I would welcome it with open arms.

It may not be obvious but for the world to be more unified and to interact in a relatively peaceful way it must have one set of human moral principles which most try to live by. All religions and their followers can update their services to reflect a new universal moral code but more realistic would be to begin teaching this unified secular moral code in elementary schools throughout the world.
The moral principles are- except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder!!!!!!!
Call them the six commandments if you want and you can fill in the details with real world examples to make it understandable to the general public. Both religious and secular counselors can fill in the details in their own personalized way with examples from their own and friend’s personal lives.
Science will never prove the validity of this secular moral code because the principles can’t be validated in the laboratory with rigorous testing and proof. Yes, a certain amount of faith in the code is required but it is far superior to the chaotic relativistic situation ethics advocated by pseudo scientific psychologists.
A considerable amount of certainty in human relationships is vital if trust is to be maintained between the leadership and the led, among leaders, among the general public, and among families. A unified moral code taught to all as an ideal is something which humans can trust and believe in and follow impulsively once they are indoctrinated in early childhood.
Highly recommended rules of behavior is one way of looking at it and the more unified the behavior the more peaceful will be the human interactions throughout a lifetime worldwide. Humans need a morality which they can believe in and one which is free of myths, deceptions, outright lies and is as close to the real truth as possible!!!!!!
It is not enough to rule the world with a monopoly on the money supply. There must be a common morality practiced between the leaders, between the leaders and the led, and between the led and the led which unifies all humans and does not separate them into warring factions out to dominate one another in never ending human and gender strife!!!

The majority of Muslims worldwide would favor Sharia law if they could get it established nationwide. Women get the worst treatment under it so most western women should be appalled and horrified by any suggestion that we should implement some of the strict archaic rules in the west. Reformation: n. making changes to a human(s) and/or to a (law(s) and/or rule(s)) to eliminate what is bad in a human(s) and/or in an organization(s) and thus trying to remove (a deviant behavior(s) and/or an abuse(s)) and/or an injustice(s)
The protestant reformation was an attempt to update or correct the injustices of the catholic church and resulted in a new form of religion. Religious reformations have also taken place in the Jewish faith and there are many offshoots such as the Mormons and the Unitarians.
Humans also undergo reformations in the form of rehabilitation, therapy, and education and these are all attempts at changing human behavior.
What society desperately needs is political reform to address the problem of so many special interest laws which are creating incredible volumes of bureaucratic red tape which is very inefficient and costing much overhead expense. The tax system needs reform desperately but no one has the courage or the political will to simplify it and make it much more just and efficient.
Society needs moral reform with a secular moral code to guide the majority of non religious citizens and a secular moral code which can even be taught in Communist China or worldwide in any nation which has a secular population.
Education and the welfare system desperately needs reform to address the problems of 21st century technological changes.
The psychiatric profession and medical profession in general desperately needs reform and a return to the basics of healthy organic eating and drinking without the use of so many artificial pills which mask but don’t cure many of the illnesses in society.
Politics, economics, society, education, language, and even theoretical physics desperately needs reformation and my evergreen truth books and blogs address all the necessary changes which need to be made to make this world a more just place for humanity and the wilderness.
I am an advocate of reformation in almost everything that is of importance for healthy just human survival along with wilderness survival or the survival of biodiversity.
Read my works and become a member of the worldwide movement to reform this world before it plunges deeper in its destruction of this precious earth so that future generations will benefit from our behavior and not be devastated by its future polluting and destructive consequences.
Optimistic change is possible but there isn’t much time left to stew in present immoral human behavior which is rapidly destroying many parts of the world, especially biodiversity, which is the safety net we will need when the domestic food supply becomes too unhealthy for human consumption due to bad technological interference.

Nature: n. the universe especially the earth and the forces and principles which rule 100% of the subsets
Long after humans cease to exist the universe will continue to flourish with the forces and principles which govern it. Nature ultimately determines who or what will be created and who or what will die. The laws of Nature are more powerful than the laws of humans and if we do not learn to incorporate the laws of nature into human behavior then we will suffer dire consequences in the long duration.
Nature rewards the healthy, smart, and efficient with healthy, smart, and efficient future generations and if humanity continues to promote the unhealthy, not so smart, and inefficient then it will be punished by nature in the long duration.
Human morality must reflect what nature wants and a new updated human secular morality is a must if we are not to repeat the blunders of human history. That updated secular morality which should be taught to all impressionable young minds is except in emergency situations- don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder!
Nature is biodiverse and efficient and if humans are to interact voluntarily in peaceful ways with one another then they should not lie, steal, commit adultery or murder each other. Break these basic guiding rules too frequently and social cohesion will disintegrate and the environment will be irreparably damaged.
Science will never prove the need for human morality so it is largely intuitive and based on a long history of human trial and error and getting to better understand how nature truly works with the help of scientific investigation.
Relativistic ethics or situation ethics is a colossal failure and it is being reflected in the disintegration of family life and the general psychological sickness of many citizens who are leading dysfunctional social lives. Psychologists and psychiatrists are very poor replacements for moral teachers and are failing miserably at their responsibility to keep society as moral as possible.
I believe in and have a passion for nature and a new updated secular morality. If you think it makes much sense then join me in my quest to improve the world for humans and let wildlife live according to time tested rules for survival.
The world has a moral and environmental crisis and it is time to take logical steps to solve the crisis before it dooms humanity in the long duration. Without a common belief in morality humans become lying, thieving, murdering savages and without biodiversity and efficiency the environment becomes an unhealthy poisoned polluted earth to live on.
Nature knows best and if we don’t live by its basic principles then it will destroy us or replace us with more efficient species.

Myth: n. a historical lie and/or a theory which can’t be proven scientifically with measurement(s) and/or is not an accurate description of reality
There are many religious myths and even the scientific myths of theoretical physics. Social myths are the most important ones because they brainwash humans into accepting social lies.
Here are 10 examples of the most important myths which are historical lies or are theories which can’t be proven scientifically or are not an accurate description of reality.
You can be anything you want to be if you just work hard enough at it.
Truth: If you have an excellent memory, work hard, and have financial backing even then you may not be able to be anyone you would like to be. If you are not gifted or talented then your chances of being a world leader in any field is zero.
Any college degree is a guarantee of a good job.
Truth: In the technological 21st century many liberal arts degrees are job poor.
Eating fatty foods will always make you fatter.
Truth: There are plenty of normal and skinny humans who eat fatty foods and don’t gain any weight.
You can lose weight permanently by dieting without a starvation diet.
Truth: You may lose some weight by changing your diet but usually if you don’t cut back on your total calorie intake to a starvation diet then you will not lose as much weight as you want permanently.
All GMO’s will not alter the DNA of future generations.
Truth: There is already some evidence that what you eat can alter the DNA of future generations and since GMO’s are food then they can also alter the DNA of future generations and the danger is that it may be an irreversible and dangerous change.
The universe was created in six days.
Truth: Maybe the universe was never created but has been around for an eternity and will be around for an eternity. If it was created then who created the creator?
The universe was created by the big bang.
Truth: The assumption that something can be created from nothing or an infinitely small point in space is absurd.
There can be more than one universe with infinity as a limit.
Truth: One universe without an end would crash into all the other universes. Infinity is not a limit but is never ending.
Love can’t be defined.
Truth: Here is the definition of love:
Love: v. to sense a very intense pleasure for a subset(s) one cares about and the behaviors which exist with it and frequently desiring to (possess and/or interact with) and/or experience samer subset(s) for a short and/or long duration
Language is perfect and doesn’t need improvement.
Truth: Why does it take 18 or more years to master language for most humans when many animals can communicate effectively in much less than a month of training. Inefficient language with its complex grammar rules should be an archaic way of expressing yourself in the technological 21st century.
I included the last two as myths because I have accurately defined love and have shown how language can be improved to make it more logical and less irrational and emotionally biased in my evergreen truth book LOGICAL ENGLISH DICTIONARY.

Historically the primary function of religion was to teach morality but unfortunately it comes with mythological beliefs which are unacceptable lies in the technological 21st century. Lies about virgin births, walking on water, Noah’s ark, and other deceptive untrue miracles does not instill trust in young offspring who grow up not only questioning the mythology but actually frequently rebelling against religion itself because of its lies.
Psychiatrists and psychologists have tried to replace morality with relativistic ethics and it is a colossal failure and unacceptable. Religion should be replaced with a believable moral code to be taught to young impressionable minds in elementary school so that their moral choices in life become impulsive and they don’t have to search for a rationalization of every behavior which they do in life.
Am I doing the right thing and why? You should be able to react intuitively and impulsively and not have to question your every move as a child or adult.
The updated morality relevant to the technological 21st century is except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.
Almost no one likes to be lied to or stolen from and saving biodiversity and not being inefficient in life can give moral purpose to someone’s life in general and specific ways.
Ruling a nation without the threat of force or the use of force in a tyrannical way is not possible if its citizens and leaders do not practice a common morality and make just laws to reflect that morality. Without a common morality democracy becomes corrupt and makes the nation ungovernable in a peaceful way where the citizens interact with each other in a basically trustworthy way.
Offspring will fight, lie, and steal if they can get away with it and they are constantly testing parental authority and trying to find out what they can get away with. It is efficient human nature to want to fight, lie, and steal and it is the responsibility of parents to enforce rules against such immoral behavior.
Historically parents had the backup of religion to help them and they could claim that God or Gods would punish offspring and humans if they acted immorally. Today surveillance cameras are to be feared because they will catch you in the act of stealing. Fear of God is being replaced by the fear of the camera and it will not work in the long duration.
Religion would on a weekly basis brainwash or indoctrinate the parents and offspring with their moral code and how they expected humans to behave socially. Religion is the repository of many myths and biases about historical facts and relationships between man and woman and society which science and a logical mind can no longer support.
Unfortunately situation ethics with its psychiatrists and psychologists is also not an acceptable replacement for moral teaching because its logical outcome is that any behavior is acceptable and depends on the situation. Humans make largely impulsive decisions on how to behave in life and the last thing they need is to constantly ask themselves- Am I justified in acting the way that I want to act?
Offspring must once again be taught a moral code in elementary public school because dying religion means that impulsive morality must be indoctrinated in impressionable young minds somewhere. If it is not being done responsibly in the home or in a house of worship then where do we teach a moral impulsive conscience in young offspring?
The separation of state and morality is no longer doable because without morality the state and its leadership will be even more corrupt and unjust and pile up more unjust laws for it’s citizens. The state must assume it’s just place as leaders of a moral just society and this should be done through moral education in the elementary schools.
An absolute morality has exceptions in emergency situations and offspring will learn of them soon enough and adapt responsibly. What is that absolute updated moral code which can be used worldwide even in tyrannical countries? It is -don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder!!!!!!
Historically every society which ignored it’s moral code and raised offspring to behave in immoral ways resulted in a corrupt leadership and a disintegration into chaos and hedonism and a takeover by a more moral society by force.
The fastest way to screw up a society is to ignore the paramount importance of morality which promotes the peaceful interaction of its citizens and creates trust, respect, and admiration of the leadership which tries to follow that morality.
The breakup of family life and the destruction of honest, sincere, and trustworthy interactions between it citizens is a precursor to the breakup of society. The teaching of morality to offspring occurs early in life in the family or it happens nowhere. Does the state have plans for taking over the parental role with hired government nannies?
CONCLUSION:
Religion has a moral purpose but its mythological beliefs or historical lies are no longer acceptable if trust is to be maintained between its citizens, between the citizens and their leaders, and between parents and their offspring.
I didn’t like it when my parents lied about the Easter bunny bringing gifts and about Santa Clause bringing gifts. I didn’t rebel against basic morality but against biblical lies because I was, even in childhood, a firm believer in the truth which theoretically is free of all deceptions and lies.

Shared moral beliefs and practices is what makes peaceful human interactions in society possible without the need for threats of force or the use of force to maintain a semblance of peaceful order in society.
Without a common morality trust between humans and trust in the government breaks down and tyranny or dictatorship is the only solution to escaping the chaos which floods the immoral society.
Mythological religious morality is outdated and must be updated with an impulsive secular morality which is practiced worldwide to assure that peaceful future interactions with the nations of the world will be possible without war breaking out.
Relativistic situation ethics does not work because morality must be a largely impulsive behavioral reaction to everyday events which should not require logical thinking for all the minimal exceptions to a moral code of behavior. That morality is largely relativistic is a modern lie and it is vital that citizens interact with each other in a largely impulsive moralistic way.
In a nutshell the new secular morality which should be taught to all impressionable young minds in elementary school worldwide should be- except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.
CONCLUSION:
With a commonly held impulsively applied moral code peaceful trusting interaction among citizens is possible where most feel that it is wrong to lie, to steal, and to be adulterous in marriage.
Believing that destroying biodiversity will ultimately destroy human civilization is priority number one for the healthy survival of future generations and is vital to a realistic modern secular moral code.
Peaceful coexistence among nations and eventual worldwide unity will be possible with a commonly held worldwide morality. Whether in a dictatorship like China or a democratic country both types of governments can practice the same secular moral code for the benefit of future worldwide human civilization.

Reality is everything which exists in this universe and that includes all beliefs which many now frequently feel are mythological, frequently some religious beliefs which are untrue.
Truth is a personal judgment of which realities are more valuable in our lives.
I personally believe or judge that scientific knowledge or mathematically provable realities are the most important. Secondly I believe or judge a secular moral code to be a vital reality in the peaceful interaction of humans on the face of this earth. I believe or judge accurate statistical evidence and scientific logical approaches to be more valuable in the formation of laws than just intuitive feelings of what fairness or justice should be.
Saying that something is false frequently means that you don’t value the response as an accurate description of reality. The wrong answer exists or is real but it is not accurate or is totally inaccurate. An accurate and sometimes mathematical description of reality is frequently more valued than an inaccurate description of reality in words and is considered more truthful or the truth.
If you say that something existed in the past and it is a totally inaccurate description then it is a lie or untrue. If you make a partially accurate description of a past event then it can frequently be called a deception or a partial lie or partial untruth.
Social truths are relative and subject to change from generation to generation with the exception of moral truths about human nature which are eternal statistically derived truths or realities about human behavior.
Your truth is different from my truth and unfortunately there is no objective truth which proves the necessity for the existence of a secular moral code so that peaceful human interaction worldwide is possible.
An evergreen truth blog may seem like a presumptuous exclusive claim on the truth and if you personally feel that it is my personal opinion and not your truth then of course you have a right to disagree. Peace!!!!!!

Trust: v. to have confidence that one will rarely be disappointed and/or victimized and/or defrauded and/or deceived and/or lied to by another
Trust is the human bond which makes relatively peaceful human interaction possible. Without trust human relationships would degenerate into chaos which would soon be replaced by the threat of force and the use of force to restore some semblance of order in society.
A measure of the health of a human society is a measure of the trust which exists between citizens and between the citizens and their leaders. The breakup of families and an abundance of bad relationships between humans is a testimony to the fact that trust is breaking down in society to no one’s benefit except the monied and powerful in society.
The way that you get and maintain trust in society is to get the society to impulsively follow a just moral code which almost everyone believes in. No secular moral code is being taught to impressionable young minds and the result is an increasingly immoral society where lies, deceptions, stealing, and adultery are beginning to reach epidemic proportions.
Psychological situation ethics is just not a workable replacement for morality and is making the situation worse and worse with more and more dysfunctional lifestyles being permitted and condoned by psychologists and psychiatrists to no one’s benefit.
When honesty, sincerity, and reliability or the fulfillment of promises are no longer promoted by society dishonesty, insincerity, and undependability or breaking of promises flourish and begin to create a very unhappy unsatisfied society.
In a corrupting society at least try to retain a personal oasis of trustworthiness and reliability with your offspring, spouse, and closest friends by not lying to them and fulfilling your promises, not stealing from them, and not being unfaithful to them for your own and their peace of mind. If the humans which you come into contact with are not trustworthy and dependable then try to end the relationship as soon as possible because all they will become is a source of turmoil and unhappiness in your life.
If you want humans to trust you then here are some things which you should be doing and Depak Chopra’s list is what I used as a guide:
Your actions are consistent or you don’t do one thing in one situation and another thing in the same situation latter on.
Your words match your deeds or you do what you say that you are going to do.
You make promises that you can keep or you fulfill promises to the best of your ability.
You take responsibility for your decisions or if you make a mistake then you own up to it and maybe even apologize.
You don’t backstab or undercut those around you or you don’t try to cleverly manipulate humans and take credit for their good actions and don’t spread harmful rumors about humans for personal gain.
You don’t focus on yourself or don’t spend time bragging about yourself or your accomplishments or walking around with a haughty “I am better than you” attitude.
You monitor the success and welfare of your cohorts or notice how well humans who are important in your life are doing and guide or motivate them on to even greater success or wellbeing.
You tell the truth in an honest sincere way avoiding harsh criticism, put downs, ridicule, and name calling.
Finally, it is better to live alone than to associate with untrustworthy undependable humans.

1. “Where do I come from?” (Origin) We are all matter, energy, dark matter, dark energy, and dark gravity material and are here by some chance and some intelligent design and cosmological or universal forces or sources.
2. “Where am I going?” (Destiny) Your destiny is to be reunited with the universe and you will know where you have been at the end of life if you are given the luxury of contemplating your life at the end of it.
3. “What am I on earth for?” (Meaning/purpose) You are here to survive as best as you can and to try to ensure that other just moral humans and wildlife also survive on into the foreseeable future.
4. “How do I know right from wrong?” (Morality) You must come to realize that morality must be updated with changing world realities and the new worldwide moral code which should be taught all impressionable young minds is-except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.
5. “What happens when I fail?” (Judgment/Redemption) Future generations will pay or suffer for your contribution to the immorality of human civilization.
Obviously I would want to be reunited with the things I loved on earth in an afterlife if it exists in some form. There is no guarantee of an exciting and peaceful existence in some form after death but just a hopeful human wish which most humans have.
The bad immoral humans may also be reunited with some experiences in an afterlife and I can only hope that they will be worse than mine. If they have a better existence then me then I will be very disappointed if given the power to judge them after death. Is there justice after death if not during life? No scientifically grounded human knows anymore unless you are a convinced “believer” that there will be justice after death!!!!!!
CONCLUSION:
All five questions either have no answer at all or partial answers which is the best that our limited brains can offer. I personally am grateful for being alive and having the time and luxury of trying to make the world a better place in which to live and am grateful that I have a government where I can express my thoughts and share them with limited censorship. Yes, with more money my thoughts, knowledge, and morality would have more impact on humanity but I was just not that fortunate in the money department.

Respect: v. to sense and frequently communicate that a human has (much value and/or moral goodness) and/or (much skill(s) in a (profession and/or activity)) and/or is experienced
Basically we respect moral humans who don’t lie to us or deceive us, don’t steal from us, and don’t commit adultery.
A car mechanic may be an expert in his or her field but if they are not moral and cheat us on repairs then we will not respect them and go elsewhere for car repairs.
We may also idolize wealthy and powerful humans who may not be that moral but have a profound influence in our lives.
We may not approve of or respect the Chinese political system but we are impressed by their economic power and are forced to deal with it. This realization is not true respect for the entire country but a respect for their ability to succeed economically in the world even though they are major counterfeiters of brand named products and steal patents and intellectual property with abandon.
We don’t truly respect them but rather fear their economic system and its power to put established companies and workers out of business.
The United States is also no longer being as respected worldwide because they have lost their moral rudder and with it respect. American international companies bribe national governments to get favorable treatment and American international banks are stealing taxpayer’s money and creating huge deficits which will probably never be paid off by future generations.
Big business through special interest legislation is killing off the potential success of small new businesses and decimating the middle class. The middle class is also being killed off by the technological revolution which is robotizing, using the internet, standardizing parts, and effectively killing many jobs with superior computer software.
The American economy and government is also morally unjust and is not as respected as it once was.
The American secular class has also lost its respect and moral rudder to guide it and the result is failed marriages, poor social relationships, and a hedonistic approach to life. Too many Americans are lying, deceiving, and committing adultery. Family life and many human relationships are disintegrating.
With an emphasis on making money for money’s sake without a moral rudder, mental and physical health is deteriorating because of unhealthy lifestyles, unhealthy food, and the over use of artificial drugs by the medical and psychiatric professions.
Unhealthy, immoral citizens, and unjust political laws are bankrupting the medical and social welfare system and adding to the national debt.
Morality and respect begins by teaching young impressionable minds what is moral behavior and it eventually is reflected in the kind of human leadership that we get in powerful organizations. Without this impulsive morality practiced by most citizens the result is chaos and eventual tyranny or dictatorship which governs by the threat of force and the use of force and not rule by the voluntary trusting cooperation of its citizens.
The new secular worldwide MORAL CODE which should be practiced to bring back true respect in the world is-except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder!!!!!!
One way to be respected is to be good at your profession or job. Many doctors, lawyers, and car mechanics are good at their professions and are respected for their expertise.
If you can trust someone and they are dependable then chances are you can also respect them because lying or being unreliable can frequently ruin trust and with it respect.
If someone is immoral or lies, steals, or is adulterous then they will lose respect.
If you are deceitful which is hidden lying then you will also lose respect once your deceit is uncovered or revealed.
If you break or don’t fulfill many promises then you will not be respected because it is a form of lying and being unreliable.
If you are not sincere or nice but hurt human feelings too frequently by being rude, inconsiderate, using ridicule, quarrelsome, and cruel then you will definitely lose some respect.
If you are unjustly critical, a backstabber, spiteful, a name caller, don’t give credit where credit is due, greedy, very lazy, a racist, promiscuous, boastful, vain, or have other severe personality flaws which humans don’t like then respect for you will decrease though maybe not always to zero.
If you are a tyrannical boss then you will be feared but not respected by most humans.
CONCLUSION:
If you are honest, sincere, and dependable without severe personality flaws then you will be respected and even admired by most humans. In many cases respect is not automatic but it must be earned with a history of respectful behavior.

Justice is a moral distribution of information and/or goods and/or services and/or rewards and/or punishments. The goals of justice should be to have moral laws which can be used to justify actions which primarily protect citizens from foreign aggression and from domestic criminals and from severe economic exploitation and from government inefficiency and protect the environment from the destruction of biodiversity.
The healthiest, smartest, and wealthiest humans should be rewarded with reproductive success in the form of polygamous families with as many offspring as possible. The unhealthiest, not so smart, and poorest monogamous humans should be discouraged from reproducing in numbers greater than one or two.
You can’t legislate morality and if you try to do so then the powerful monied interests dominate the legislation and results in unjust laws which depend on the threat of force and the use of force for their enforcement. This is a tyranny or a dictatorship without the free consent of the governed.
An important priority for true justice is trying to guarantee that people are promoted to positions of authority in organizations based on merit and not primarily based on nepotism and/or popularity and/or political favoritism. Realistically this will only be possible with a technological business elite ruling the world because anyone steeped in a liberal arts mythological tradition will rule in a very subjective biased way and a political system based on true merit is not realistically possible. A liberal arts tradition means rule by the monied elite whether or not they have achieved that money based on merit. Liberal arts frequently means rule by inherited wealth which is frequently unjustified and frequently without merit.
Rewards and/or punishments are judged by authority figures such as parents, teachers, legal authorities, jury members, businessmen, businesswomen, government officials, or politicians. The moral distribution of rewards and/or punishments means that appropriate rewards in the form of privileges and/or goods and/or money, are given to offspring and adults. These rewards should justly be proportionate to the effort that they have made and the success with which they have fulfilled their obligations and/or jobs and/or tasks. It means rewarding based on merit and correspondingly it means proportionate punishment or the subtraction of privileges and/or goods and/or money for bad behavior or poor performance at a job or task.
Rewarding very much with little or no success is not justice and it merely increases a feeling of selfworth which is not earned and it handicaps the individual with unrealistic judgments of one’s true ability and merit.
True justice is justice for humans and wilderness plants and animals. In a just world humans would not destroy biodiversity and would not lie to each other and would not be inefficient and would not steal from each other and would not commit adultery if married and would not murder each other. If these goals were achieved humans would live in harmony with each other and let wilderness plants and animals live in survival of the fittest harmony with each other.
A just moral code taught to impressionable young minds and practiced impulsively by its citizens is a guarantee that the government will be as just as is humanly possible. Citizens not impulsively ruled by an inner impulsive morality means the destruction of voluntary human interaction and fearful chaos whose only solution is rule by the threat of force and use of force or a terribly inefficient tyranny or dictatorship!!!!!!

Efficiency means that you are using the minimal amount of energy per unit time. If you use too much energy to do something you are being inefficient and if you use up too much time doing that something then you are being inefficient.
When you are lazy you are using very little energy but wasting much time so you can’t be considered to be very inefficient except in your unwise usage of too much wasted time. The great amount of wasted time makes up for not using much energy so you can be considered to be terribly inefficient too.
Wasting material or mass is wasting stored energy. According to Einstein Energy=mass times the speed of light squared or E=mc2. Material is stored energy and if you are wasting materials then you are being inefficient. If you are wasting natural resources or materials with much wasted material left over then you are also wasting energy and being very inefficient. Wasting or destroying biodiversity or a vital natural resource is highly immoral.
CONCLUSION: Inefficiency is immoral and should be incorporated into a modern updated moral code. Except in emergency situations-don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder.

It is hard enough trying to be logical in this emotionally biased world but there are impulsive decisions which we make automatically without frequently realizing the illogical nature of our impulsive choices. George Dvorsky writes about 12 of the most important mental or cognitive biases and if you understand them then you hopefully will adjust, adapt, and not make as many shitty illogical decisions in the future.

The biggest bias is a very strong belief or opinion which you have and the natural tendency is to evaluate or judge the world based on your belief and/or opinion reality. If you strongly believe in something then you will probably not investigate or understand why others do not believe the same thing and why others have a strong dislike for your belief or opinion.
Religious wars and wars between different cultures are historical proof that humans are willing to fight and even die for their beliefs and strong cultural biases which also have a very strong supportive personal emotional attachment or bias.
I have a strong scientific bias but I realize that “scientific” statistical results frequently are untrue biases when applied to medical research and especially psychiatry and the behavioral “sciences”. Much so called human truths or human nature are culturally dependent and can’t be proven scientifically in the laboratory. Wise or good common sense and logical thinking applied to cultural norms is the only way of rationally approaching human subjects.
I like to pride myself in writing evergreen truth blogs but unfortunately many of my communications are biased towards similar western and eastern cultures in their present form.
I am presently disappointed with and frequently writing or fighting against all the emotional trivial crap and pollution that this world is living in and destroying biodiversity in the process with a mythological morality which puts humans first and wild nature last. I am all about applying truthful logic to this emotionally illogical destructive human world which seems like an impossible realistic goal but I have dedicated the rest of my life to the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth as I see it. Am I biased? Sure, but hopefully in a constructive way trying to destroy as much untruth as possible along the way and showing how this world can be improved from its myopic destructive present destiny!!!!!!

Research is being done to find out why people give money to support a charitable goal. It seems that if the pleasure centers of the brain are activated then there is a greater probability of giving. The still unanswered question is why do some humans feel pleasure and others don’t when giving?
It is just a guess on my part but I feel that giving is connected to a basic belief in the charitable goal that you are giving to and having enough spare money to give in the first place.
Previous conditioning by role models who gave to charities probably affects your lifelong giving tendencies but most important is a personal strong belief in the charitable goal. I used to give to conservation organizations which I believed in when I was single and stopped doing so when I got married and had offspring and had less money to give for charitable goals. I no longer felt good about giving because my family priorities overrode charitable giving.
CONCLUSION:
You probably give to charities because it makes you feel good, because you believe in the charitable goal, and if you have some excess money to spend on the charitable goal. If you are very religious you may actually give about 10% of your income to the religious organization because you have been indoctrinated to believe that it is the right thing to do. Acting on a belief is a pleasurable experience.

Different religions and different political systems are the main reason why there is not peace in this world and so much conflict and disagreement. The world is crying out for a new human secular moral code to unify the world in its common humanity.
In a nutshell that new secular moral code should be- in non emergency situations-
don’t destroy biodiversity,
don’t lie,
don’t be inefficient,
don’t steal,
don’t commit adultery if married,
and don’t murder.
What follows is a brief explanation of this moral code and what it means in general terms.
DON’T DESTROY BIODIVERSITY
Wilderness plants and animals are time tested healthy gene pools which we will need to rely on when domesticated plants and animals will be so altered by human intervention and manipulation that they will become unhealthy plants and animals to eat. Breeding special human selected breeds of dogs and cats and livestock has resulted in breeds with severe health problems because the selection process is limited to a handful of traits such as beauty, size, and fat content of the meat. The largest or most beautiful physical specimens have undesirable health problems and many prize livestock specimens can’t even reproduce naturally anymore and need human assistance in the form of artificial insemination. Nature selects for millions of traits and assures that only the healthiest specimens will survive to reproduce. EAT UNHEALTHY FOOD AND YOU TOO WILL BE UNHEALTHY!!!!!!
Biodiversity must survive and I even recommend that its real estate should be expanded to assure a healthy gene pool of plants and animals to choose from which nature has so wisely selected for survival under the natural environmental conditions of the earth. The environment also includes all the natural bacteria and viruses and insects which exist and perform vital functions which are still a big mystery to most humans.
What humans must do to make biodiversity realistically possible is to control human population growth and concentrate most humans in big cities along the coast. Start giving back some of the real estate to wilderness plants and animals before it is too late to reverse the avalanche of healthy species extinctions.
DON’T LIE
Honesty, sincerity, and telling the truth is not valued by secular societies and the result is political lies, social lies, economic lies, education lies, religious lies, and the scientific lies of modern theoretical physics which make everyone believe that society is unjust or unfair. Society is currently based on historical myths and deceptions which are destroying trust in society and personal relationships. Trust is the bond which makes peaceful civilized human interaction possible and without it humans must be ruled by threats of violence and violence or tyranny. Trust is only possible if politicians don’t lie and humans don’t lie to one another, especially in intimate relationships with one another. When humans no longer trust their leaders and don’t trust their family members then the result is chaos or anarchy quickly followed by tyranny.

DON’T BE INEFFICIENT
We have inefficient conversation thanks to an archaic language which puts so much emphasis on emotion and emotional words and not logical speech and thinking. Taking most of the emotion out of language, defining the words logically, and simplifying the inefficient grammatical structure of language will make conversation or communication very efficient. My book LOGICAL ENGLISH DICTIONARY is the nucleus of the new language which we must change to if we want to make language as efficient as it should be and tame the emotional human beast inside of all of us.
We have inefficient homes, inefficient cars, inefficient businesses, inefficient education, inefficient medicine, inefficient government, inefficient religion, and inefficient daily habits which are mostly trivial pursuit behaviors which don’t benefit our lives nor the lives of others but basically waste much time, energy, and money. All the liberal arts are inefficient excursions into inefficient verbosity and trivial activity which has minimal real survival benefit for humanity. Human society is littered with inefficient human artistic MUTANT crap!!!!!!
INEFFICIENCY means that you are wasting your time, energy, and money or you are wasting the time, energy, and money of someone else!!!!!! The new golden rule should be don’t waste your time, energy, and money and don’t waste the time, energy, and money of others!!!!!!
DON’T STEAL
Surveillance cameras may soon be everywhere and the government monitoring personal communications will be accepted by all. This is done to create a fear in thieves so that they will not try to steal. The temptation to get something for nothing or minimal time and energy expenditure is great in humans. Make big money quickly with gambling, make big money quickly in the stock market, or steal something expensive and make a big profit with minimal expenditure of time, energy, and money. The temptation to steal in an immoral secular society is great and the only antidote to it is young offspring being indoctrinated that it is immoral to steal or cheat someone with deception which is just another form of stealing without force or violence.
DON’T COMMIT ADULTERY IF MARRIED
Commit adultery and you create a fear of abandonment, anger, frustration, jealousy, and even hatred in your spouse. Who needs that emotional garbage and it is the second leading cause for divorce with good reason. Too promiscuous a society means that the fundamentally necessary family unit is endangered and financially responsible, independently functioning moral offspring will not be raised who can live under family circumstances.
DON’T MURDER
Except in self-defense killing a human being intentionally should be a crime in all societies.
CONCLUSION: If you want the future world to live in peace and harmony with one another and with wilderness plants and animals then the whole world community should believe in the same basic new moral code. Nature has purpose. Find or grow food, get shelter from predators or the environment, and reproduce the next generation.
Historically humans had purpose in their lives. Get an education, get a moral education, work at a job, buy food, shelter, transportation, and basic necessities and have a family.
Today in society few get the proper education, few get a moral education, few find good paying jobs, few can afford to live in a family setting and support offspring, and most are brainwashed and handicapped by a hedonistic culture which emphasizes fun and entertainment without responsibilities.
Many are depressed feeling that their lives have no purpose because they have no job or a bad job and can’t afford to live a fulfilling family life. Many more have no moral code to live by and are lousy at human relationships because relativistic ethics does not give useful answers on how to live a fulfilling life in this modern demanding ever changing technological 21st century.
Computers, robots, the internet, and big business are eliminating many historically fulfilling jobs which required much skill and gave people a sense of independence, self-worth, and fulfillment.
Increasingly more and more people are feeling unwanted, unnecessary, and incompetent and are losing a sense of purpose in their lives. Welcome to the brave new world where more and more people will be living destitute and unemployed and on government welfare!
Sure, there will always be humans who will find purpose in their lives by putting in the time, effort, and reeducation to land a good paying job and have a successful family life because they have a strong morality and know how to form trustworthy honest relationships with other humans. Unfortunately, their numbers are being drastically reduced and most of the population is destined to live without purpose in their lives.
Get used to living without purpose or try to do something about it and try to improve your life. My evergreen book HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE: HOW TO GET WHAT YOU WANT; HOW TO SAVE TIME AND MONEY is worth reading if having purpose in your life is important to you.
If you want real purpose in your life then try to live it with a strong secular moral code to guide you. My suggestion to the new generation is a secular moral code which in a nutshell is don’t destroy biodiversity, don’t lie, don’t be inefficient, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery if married, and don’t murder. This can give meaning and purpose to secular future generations into the foreseeable future and it can give purpose to your seemingly depressing hopeless life.

There is an untrue belief that one human messiah will come to save the world or the universe and then there will be peace on earth and justice will prevail. That one messiah would have to have supernatural powers so he or she could force humans to not behave in an irrational or illogical emotionally charged selfish way which is what humans are doing today with a severely flawed outdated language.
The truth is that we need more than one messiah to combat the lies and deceptions and untruths which make up current political, social, economical, educational, language, and scientific mythology or untruths.
The truth is that there are and should be millions more of true messiahs on this planet all trying to pursue the truth and then trying to apply updated truths in their lives and the lives of others.
If you are fighting courageously to promote the conservation of biodiversity and its expansion in this world then you are a messiah of the balance of nature truth.
If you are honest and sincere and truthful and change your beliefs about what you think is true when confronted with more logical alternatives then you are an evolving messiah of truthful living.
If you abhor deceptions, lies, and untruths in politics, society, economics, education, and science and try to do something about it in your personal life and your interactions with others then you are a good messiah of healthy trustworthy human interactions.
If you are fighting against inefficiency at home, in the workplace, and in society and think that trivial human pursuits pollute the planet too much by using up too many precious resources then you are a messiah of truth because nature abhors inefficiency.
If you think that stealing is morally wrong but that there should be a safety net for the unemployed and destitute and that they should have the opportunity to reeducate themselves at government expense for truly useful technological skills in the workplace then you are a messiah of truthful necessary human philanthropy.
If you believe that adultery is immoral in a marriage then you are a messiah of truth trying to preserve the just and efficient reproduction of humans.
If you believe that murder should be against the law unless it is in selfdefense then you are a messiah of truthful human conflict.
If you believe that language should be updated to be less emotional and more logical with accurate definitions then you are a messiah of efficient language truth.
CONCLUSION: Modern politics, society, economics, education, language, and science is filled with myths or untruths and if you are courageously fighting against one or more of these myths then you are a member of the new army of messiahs which this world so desperately needs and you should be proud of the fact and should try to indoctrinate your offspring with a similar zeal. Also try to convince as many fellow humans to follow your newly discovered truths.
If you do this with courage and conviction maybe at some point in the near future you will have much more peace and justice on the face of this earth for both humans and wild animals and plants.

THIS MORAL CODE COULD BE A VERY USEFUL TOOL IN REEDUCATING HUMANS IN WHAT IS REALLY VALUABLE IN LIFE AND NOT A HEDONISTIC LIFESTYLE BASED ON THE PURSUIT OF TRIVIAL PURSUITS AND PLEASURE WHICH DOES SOCIETY NO GOOD BUT RATHER CONTINUES TO CREATE CHAOS, SOCIAL DISORDER, AND EVENTUALLY THE DESTRUCTION OF SOCIETY ITSELF LEADING TO A DICTATORIAL OR TYRANNICAL OVERTHROW OF THE GOVERNMENT AND RULE BY FORCE AND THE THREAT OF FORCE!!!!!!
